The chaff House is beautiful.

The chaff House is beautiful. It has everything that a family needs to have a wonderful restful and peaceful holiday on a working farm with free range animals and beautiful countryside. I rarely think I would return to a location but Chaff House is one place I would happily return to. Brilliant.

Frampton break

Initial impression was pleasant. Nicely converted farm buildings. The property was quirky, clean, - but cold. Warmest room was the en-suite bathroom. The underfloor heating was turned on by the property owner but was ineffective. All the bedrooms were chilly. The log burner added character but the heat didn’t last. Spacious open plan living but with two young children in November the room temperatures let it down. The tv could only be turned on/off manually. Couldn’t get the DVD to work. A larger screen would be better for the viewing area. Wifi was free but in this age of streaming needs upgrading as programmes on a laptop kept buffering. The animals were great - particularly the 3 day old piglets and friendly horse, pony and donkey. The area and property in general was interesting. The poor weather didn’t help but we still went out and visited various attractions. Newton Park Hall ( NT ) has lovely walks and lush woodland. In the summer months I expect this holiday let to be excellent as the surroundings are rustic and scenic.

Nicely located for our classic car drives to places we wanted to visit. The property was spacious enough but had some issues. There are stairs down to the bathroom and the single downstairs bedroom that may affect those with mobility issues. The stairs to the bathroom were VERY creaky and are likely to disturb people during the night, as indeed they did.The place could do with a very good dust as you could write your name on the bedside cabinets and there were cobwebs around the place with a couple of crawly occupants. Similarly with the velux windows in the roof. The furniture is getting a little tired with the leg of a dining chair splitting when it was sat on. We are getting on in age and the saggy low down sofas made it a struggle to sit in and get up from. All said, we enjoyed our stay and hope that the comments will be constructive. Thank you.

The cottage was fabulous and very well located to reach Bath, Cardiff, Gloucester, Cirencester and C

The cottage was fabulous and very well located to reach Bath, Cardiff, Gloucester, Cirencester and Cheltenham. Fabulous walks detailed in a booklet in the cottage including one to a lovely pub in Epney and one along the canal towards Gloucester. The animals just added to the joy, especially the piglets and the ducks! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lots of character which fitted with its location on a working farm

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Easy to find and had ample parking. The owners answered any questions quickly. Loved seeing the animals in particular feeding the ducks and piglets. Two good pubs within a reasonable distance serving good food.

Lovely location for those who want to get away from it all whilst being in the midst of a farming en

Lovely location for those who want to get away from it all whilst being in the midst of a farming environment. A comfortable open plan cottage with a good-sized sitting out area. Plenty of walks straight from the door with the addition of being really close to the River Severn. Lots of animals to see and hear - kids would absolutely love it too ?

Lovely Farm stay, very nice accommodation

We had a really nice break, our dog loved it too. Great walk to local pub. Everything we needed and friendly welcome.
