We had a lovely few days here at Misty Isles Cottage.

We had a lovely few days here at Misty Isles Cottage. It was a perfect location for us. Far from crowds and offered a peaceful place to unwind. The hot tub was a great opportunity to relax and had amazing views. The photos of the tub doen't do it justice for its location! The light on this bay is spectacular, whether its a sunny bright morning or a duller misty morning, the beauty cannot be described. The cottage was cosy, warm and inviting and had all the amenities we needed for the week. We checked on departure if there was any availability for another 3 nights! We would love to come back! Thank you Peter and Kirsty.

Absolutely beautiful location, a real break away from it all to re-charge the batteries and really enjoyed the peace and quiet and access to many local scenic walks. Everything you could need was provided and the Owners were always available for advice when needed. The views from the cottage across the ocean at Dawn and at sunset we’re amazing. Misty Isles is superb if you are looking to get away from everything.

Misty Isles is superb if you are looking to get away from everything. We never had the tv on, why would you with a view like that. Not the most comfortable of sofas so luckily the weather was pretty good so we were outside most of the time. The best bed we've slept in at a self catering. Best cottage we’ve stayed in for ages. Had everything we needed. Lovely spot to watch the tide. People welcoming and followed COVID rules. The hot tub was perfect after a long walk. Great location, great cottage.

Great location, great cottage. It was our second time here, and will definatley be back. Maybe time for a new mattress as it's not the most comfortable, but apart from that we love this place 👍👌

What an amazing place to relax and unwind from the busy lives we all lead, a few minutes in Misty Is

What an amazing place to relax and unwind from the busy lives we all lead, a few minutes in Misty Isles and you feel the stresses of day to day life just leave your body, the cottage is clean and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Ellenabeich village and its residents make you feel very welcome. Thank you for a great few days and we will be back again.

A stunning location with unriveled vews of the sea and islands.

A stunning location with unriveled vews of the sea and islands. You can sit in bed or on the sofa with a cuppa or a glass of something chilled and watch the waves , seabirds , clouds and sunshine perform their magic for you. The little terrace area outside with the hot tub is just a luxurious added bonus. The pub next door is very welcoming , serving local drinks and food. All very delicious. Opposite is the shop for little souveniers , very basic essentials and booking the Seafari , a must trip to experience wildlife up close. Next to that is a lovely little museum so you can lean about the area and the fascinating history of the place you are calling home for the duration of your holiday. A superb base for exploring the region. The only thing we found to make any comment on would be as my husband is 6ft 4ins , the bed was not really long enough and the wooden frame made it difficult to hang his feet out if lying flat. A common problem for him poor chap. This did not detract from the holiday overall and the cosy , welcoming feel to the cottage and we would definitely return.

Our third visit.

Our third visit. This is one of favourite places. It is in a great location and the views from the cottage are just beautiful. The hot tub is an added bonus. It is ideal for two people/couples. Great for visiting the local islands like Luing and Kerrara. There is always something news to explore and this time we went on a Seafari wildlife on the rib. Just had to walk across the road. We will be back again.

Had a wonderful week at the cottage.

Had a wonderful week at the cottage. Sadly only managed to use the hot tub a couple of times due to the weather. Made use of the washing machine and drying line so had very little washing to take home. Hope to return one day.
