Hawaiian Vacation

Resort was wonderful! Accommodations, however, were not up to my standards. Our unit overlooked the luau location and noise at night was a big issue. The showers were terrible. Only a handheld shower head that made you hover in the corner just to get wet. Second bedroom was TWIN beds, not ideal for a married couple. Definitely will NOT book this again!!!!

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the resort overall, but we’re sorry the accommodations didn’t meet your expectations. Our listing does note the following regarding the guest room: “2 Double Beds – The bedroom could also have a King bed or 2 twin size beds." As Hilton is in charge of assigning all units at check-in, and the bedding configuration cannot be guaranteed. We understand how this can be frustrating, especially when traveling as a couple. We also apologize for the issues you experienced with the shower. As all unit maintenance is handled directly by the resort, we hope you were able to bring this to their attention during your stay so they could assist. We truly value your feedback and are sorry this experience didn’t meet your standards. If there’s anything Concierge Realty could have done to improve your stay, please let us know.

Did not get the room we chose!!

Should have had one room With king bed.... other room with two double beds.... my 75 yr old mother can’t share a bed that’s why we chose the two bedroom with two double beds.... come to find out they don’t guarantee the number of beds?? Totally ridiculous!! That should be explained.... my 12 yr old slept on the floor for a week.... not a great vacation....

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your vacation to Hilton Hawaiian Village, Lagoon Tower. The two bedroom villas have a king bed, two twins and a sleeper - or- king bed, two doubles and a sleeper sofa -or- tow king beds and a sleeper sofa. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee which configuration will be assigned as it is Hilton's decision. With five guests in your party and beds for six guests, it should have been sufficient. We did volunteer to purchase for you an additional bed, but the offer was declined. We hope that you were able to take advantage of the beach, lagoon, super pool and amenities at the resort and were able to enjoy the vacation.

Ideal location for a small family

Michelle was absolutely a great communicator who was very helpful at every step but I think booking thru Vrbo is a bit complicated. We had two bedrooms, one with two queens, one with king, ocean view. If you want to be in Waikiki area on a resort, this is an ideal location as it’s further down away from a lot of the noise. You have to walk just a little bit to get away from the rocky parts of the beach. Most hotels are a bit far back so your view is somewhat limited. All in all, we enjoyed the lagoon, the pool, the convenience of a luau on site (with two infants), access to washer and dryer, full kitchen, and the fireworks show. I probably would prefer to stay on the north side of the island if we were to go again, but this is a very nice property for the location. For us, the biggest drawback was the check out process, when most people are trying to get out at the same time in the lagoon tower, and you have to wait over 30 mins for the elevator. There is also a TOT tax you will be charged at checkout.

Thank you for your review, Alaina! We are so happy your service from Michelle was great, but also sorry to hear about your experience through vrbo and the length of time it took for checkout, caused some disappointment for you. We hope you were able to make some great memories during your stay, at the lagoon, the pool, and the luaus. We appreciate you trusting our team with your travel planning needs and hope you will consider us again!

Oceanfront 2 bedroom villa

The property for a family is nice with all the things to do. Lots of choices for eating/restaurants and activities for kids. We reserved an oceanfront 2 bedroom Villa. The views were amazing and we could see the Friday night fireworks show and were fun to watch from our 2 balconies. The rooms are dated. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 4 children. We booked accommodations for 2 double beds in one room and a King bed in the second room. Unfortunately when we checked in, only 2 twin beds were in the room for our 4 children. The front desk 2 days later found a new room with no view and much smaller condo than the accommodations we originally booked. We paid for oceanfront but now would be down graded for the bed accommodations. The kitchen does need more things to make it more useful. They just provide the bare minimum. The ice maker is turned off and not for use. We booked the trip through Michele that was easy at first. 7 days after booking and paying she called us and realized she made an error on the contract for the cost of the room. Overall, I would make certain the beds that are described on the VRBO detail page is accurate. The pictures and details need to be updated. Please note you are charged a per day resort fee and taxes at check in.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Tasha! We sincerely appreciate your insights, and are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the various amenities and activities offered by the resort! We apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered with the bedding configuration. It is outlined in the rooms and beds section of our ad, by clicking on see all rooms and beds details you will see the note: "The guest bedroom could also have a King bed or 2 twin size beds" Any questions regarding bedding configuration should be addressed and discussed prior to booking. We are glad to hear that you still had plenty of room for 2 adults and 4 children, despite this set back. In reference to the booking process, we want to acknowledge that we had discussed and agreed upon an oceanfront view with an associated price increase. We understand that there were complications during the pre-approval process on VRBO, and apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this caused. Michele worked diligently directly via phone calls and emails to address the situation as soon as we were made aware. Once again, we appreciate your feedback, and hope that you were able to enjoy the beautiful views and the overall family-friendly environment of Hilton Hawaiian Village. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, ensuring a more seamless and enjoyable experience.
