We had a memorable family-reunion holiday in this gorgeous home. We were made to feel especially welcome by both house managers. The house is well laid out, generously appointed and in a fabulous location. We couldn't fault any aspect of our stay. Our only dilemma is trying to find a time to come back. We loved our stay in St Remy en Provence. The hosts were lovely and very communicative. The location was wonderful. The home and pool were perfect for our group. We enjoyed coming back from day trips to swim and relax before dinner. The hosts were also helpful in arranging a chef to cook us dinner on the last night. A gem and we will be back!

For our trip, it was too cool for the pool however it looked beautiful and inviting.Kitchen had an amazing omelette pan. I did a ton of cooking. He had some beautiful casserole dishes. I would switch out a few of those Teflon pots for stainless steel otherwise very well equipped.

great hideaway

what a lovely house and a great kitchen. Just the right distance to town so you can escape for the peace and quiet, but close enough to pop in for dinner excellent hosts and their new property manager was so, so helpful, kind and punctual

We had a great stay in St Remy de Provence

The description and photos of the property are accurate and comprehensive. The location of the house is great being close to the center of St Remy, just a 20 minute flat walk to a great selection of restaurants, shops and the amazing Wednesday market.Aleksandra was very attentive and helpful during our stay.We highly recommend St Remy and this property.

Great house, beautifully decorated and well-stocked. Within reasonable walking distance to town. Wednesday market well worth attending. A great location for day trips to other towns.

beautiful Provencence villa

The house was stunning: a small museum with its art collections. Spotless clean, a beautiful garden, very comfortable. And safe for our dogs with its fenced in garden. We love to return.

Great House close to Saint Remy

The property was great. Three sizable bedrooms with A/C units and about a 15-minute walk to town. The house had a nice gathering space. The pool was a nice addition. Overall, we were quite pleased.

Lovely property in fabulous location

We were checked in by Aleksandra and out by Alexandra - both of whom were very helpful and friendly. The house is very comfortable and has a wonderful atmosphere. We all felt very at home there. Great proximity to St Remy - easy to walk into town. The pool was ideal for cooling down in and for relaxing beside.We tended to eat in town for lunch, and dine at the house in the evenings. We all had a truly fabulous week and hope to return (there was talk of making it an annual event!Both the owners and the property managers were extremely helpful.

The perfect place to escape

We had a wonderful time. The house is perfect, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We spent Christmas and New Year there and really enjoyed being in Saint Remy. The house is a 20 minute easy walk into town. Alex was lovely and welcomed us into the house that was all warm spotless. It was bitterly cold outside but we had blue sky for the blissful two weeks we were there. Thank you Ned and Frank it was divine and we hope to see you again soon.

Charming escape in Provence

The house is beautifully decorated in an artistic Provence style to a high level. Walking distance to St Remy even though not a great road to walk on . St Remy has many of the best restaurants in the area. Great location to tour the area or just to relax by the pool in a quiet neighborhood . Comfortable beds and fully appointed. Pictures are accurate. The owners love for their house is clear to see.

nice location

the house is managed with a lot of love and care. Maybe not suitable for young children due to all the valuable antiques that are present. One minus, we didn't like the matress of the master bedroom. it was very hard and lumpy. We had a wonderful stay.

What a jewel. This is a wonderful property in a fantastic location. The house is beautifully decorated, well stocked and extremely comfortable, and made special by all the charming/quirky/lovely items the owners have collected. A++ for the well supplied kitchen. The owners also shared loads of helpful recommendations. The property manager Alexandra is a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

Delightful

A perfect property! The grounds are fabulous (I had great difficulty tearing myself away from the pool!), the living areas charming and beautifully decorated, and the neighborhood removed from St Remy just enough to provide calm and yet close enough to allow for easy access. Dealings with the owners and the manager couldn't have gone more smoothly. I look forward to returning as soon as possible!

Lovely traditional house

This is a beautiful house which has been gorgeously decorated with furniture and objects collected by the owners over the years. The pool and garden area are lovely and immaculately maintained. We especially loved all the explanations about where everything came from in the house, and also the owners' recommendations for restaurants and activities. We have frequently stayed in St-Remy but we still found some new things from the list! A special word of thanks goes to Alexandra the property manager who was very helpful when we had questions.

St Remy Retreat

Really enjoyed our week at this charming character property, peacefully located in a residential street approx 15 minutes walk from the centre of St Remy. Given the very hot weather, we spent quite a bit of time relaxing by the lovely, well maintained pool in the very pretty grounds. That said, being something of a shopper, I did manage a fair amount of retail in some of the interesting local shops - despite the heat! The Property Manager, Alex, was a star - so check-in and check-out were super easy and she was clearly keen to ensure our stay was a good one.

St Remy house

Lovely house in gated neighborhood just outside of center of St Remy. St Remy is a fun, lively town that was an easy walk from the house - which is good because parking is hard. The pool was a welcome respite after a day of touring. The gardens around the house & pool were beautiful. The only drawback is the pool is very close to the road. The plantings & fence hide the road very well but sometimes the cars sound very close. Luckily the road is not very busy Overall the Treilles is a wonderful home & I would highly recommend it.

This is a fabulous house, but it could be better

The house is great. However, it was very hot in France and the main living area is not air conditioned. The owners should install ceiling fans or worst case supply two additional floor fans (there is one) for this space. This will make a world of difference.

Ideal stay in St.Remy.

We had a delightful month's stay at Les Treilles in St. Remy. The house and yard are beautiful and spotless. We stayed a month and there was ample storage for our kit and supplies. All three bedrooms are very comfortable for adults. We enjoyed making use of the gourmet kitchen and exploring the town and surrounding small villages and parks. It's a great location for getting to know Provence. We particularly enjoyed the Yves Brayer museum in Les Baux and getting to know Alpilles wines with the charming staff at Le Domain Milan (a short stroll from the house.)The hosts were communicative and responsive and we want to give a particular shout out to the local staff, who responded instantly to any inquiries with helpful recommendations and assistance. They were absolute gems, helping us make dinner reservations for our first night, arranging a private chef to teach us Provençal cooking and booking a car to the train station for our last night. Couldn't recommend the people and place more highly.
