This recently refurbished, Barcelona apartment is located just off Las Ramblas, surrounded by the Gothic Quarter. It is located on the second floor, without elevator access. It has one double bedroom, a bathroom with shower unit, lounge-diner with kitchenette and double sofa bed.

The 'Ramblas' apartments are fully equipped, down to the last detail. The apartment kitchen provides all accessories

The 'Ramblas' apartments are on Las Ramblas boulevard, in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Here, the remains of the old Roman city can be found, as well as the group of medieval palaces and convents that are the heritage of a splendid past. Barcelona was the capital of the Catalan counts and monarchs for five hundred years.

This building is in the center of the medieval city, surrounded by leisure establishments that will make your stay unforgettable. Stroll around the most beautiful walk in the world, once, twice or even more. You will never tire of watching the ebullient life that has left its imprint on this boulevard.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
CHECK IN- In accordance with the Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security it is compulsory for all guests staying in tourist accommodation establishments to be registered by means of a national identity document or passport. This information will be notified to the police within 24 hours of your arrival.

- Access to our apartments will be provided either by using an App on your Smartphone or by introducing a code on the keypad you will find next to the entrance door.

- As soon as your booking is confirmed we will send you an email which will include an attached form which we ask you to fill in with your personal details and those of the other guests before making the payment and signing the rental agreement.

- 24/48 hours before your arrival and once the form has been completed you will receive a link to activate the keys.

- We would kindly inform you that our system is unable to generate the access codes until all the guest details are registered, full payment received, and the agreement signed and returned.

- Our apartments have noise measurement systems and night security.

- We ask you to keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7am.

HOURS:- Check in time: from 3.00pm onwards.- Departure time: before 11.00am- Please inform us of your expected arrival time

DEPOSIT- Your deposit payment will be returned within a maximum of 72 hours as soon as the vacated apartment has been checked.

Great location!

Great access to many restaurants, attractions and public transportation. Plus, you get a great daily workout climbing the stairs to your apartment!

The host was incredibly responsive to any and all messages. The place was very clean and the access codes worked perfectly. The location is ideal as it's close to many restaurants and attractions. We had apartment 2 which was 4 flights of uneven winding stairs to access. Laundry was on the top level and the dryers didnt work. All in all a great place to stay!

I never stayed at this place because they cancelled my reservation days after I booked but weeks before my trip. Luckily I was able to make other arrangements. Very disappointed in the way that they cancelled my reservation without a reason why.

A Barcelona experience

This apartment was up a couple narrow stair flights but doable. It was in great location and the street was full of bakeries, restaurants, quickie markets. The apartment was very roomy and modern.

Morning coffees within 20 meters. Great restaurants and life in the local square. Super close to La Rambla. A short and pleasant walk to the beach or other city sights. Room was fantastic. Everything we needed for 2 people. The stairs where our challenge, particularly after a bit of partying with the locals...but we got home safe and all was good from there.

Great location for visiting the Gothic Quarters. Most Barcelona sights within walking or easy metro distance. The amenities were a little sparse. A good coffee maker would have been nice, but good coffee shops very near by.

Very minimalistic

I think this is the perfect place for young people. Being 60 made it a bit difficult to get my 50 pound suitcase up the narrow 57 steps. Also, the bathroom has no storage or shelving. Nothing to hold your toiletries. There is no coffee pot. Just an instant hot kettle. Decent place. Just not for me

Great apartment with an ideal location!

My friend and I booked this apartment for a 4-night stay in Barcelona and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is located in the heart of the Gothic quarter and walking distance to almost everything. It is well-appointed and had everything we could need. It also felt very safe and the management company provided great communication. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others! The only thing to be aware of is that there are quite a few stairs, even though it is only on the second floor. That is typical in the old part of town though and unavoidable, in my experience. Just something to be aware of, particularly if you have lots of luggage. I would definitely stay here again!

We paid full price in front, but 2 days before we come in Barcelona, they asked more money for tax+ $200 bonus and I don’t know when we will have it back. Bathroom is extremely uncomfortable and old, shower door is broken. Could be better for this price.

Amazing location and some weird stuff

Las Ramblas by Classbedroom is a small, efficient apt with a sweet balcony overlooking a busy, exciting mostly pedestrian way. There is so much to explore, just walk out the door and pick any direction to go! The apartment seemed clean, bedding was clean, bath towels were sparse, bathroom was tiny, shower was a pain to use, kitchen very basic, don’t expect any coffee/tea or anything. Now for the bad. You’ve already read about the stairs, they’re no joke, just a part of living in an ancient building. The flashing lights could give someone a seizure in the steep, circular, narrow, otherwise dark stairwell. There is a bad odor every time you enter the apartment. And the worst was an unpredictable noise at all times of day or night, it sounded like the old tv alert alarm for the emergency broadcast system. We think it came from a box on the the exterior of the neighbor’s building. Thankfully it stopped midway during our stay. Also, the Classbedroom registration process was a royal pain and stressful right before our trip but Renato was very helpful. Bottom line, overpriced, probably would not stay here again.

Great Gothic Quarter Lodging

Best part was location which was ideal for so many sites. Plenty of bakeries, grocery stores and restaurants. The access to the unit is 58 steps up a narrow winding staircase which should be mentioned more prominently in the listing. It is a challenge to get luggage up and down, and a bit of a step work out whenever you go out or in. The unit would be more inviting with a shower with doors that fully close, and water faucets that were less wobbly. Also the wash basin is quite shallow and not very practical, but useable. The washing and drying machine on the top floor (another ~50 steps) could do with instructions as it was not easy to figure out. We didn't ever fully figure out the dryer and we think the washer finally started after ~25 minutes. The kitchen overhead light and vent require a not obvious pulling out of the sliding mechanism over the burners. We did eventually figure this out, but clear guidance would have been nice. There were no cooking amenities like salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar, coffee, which perhaps we shouldn't have expected, but which we've found in other VRBOs. The valuables safe was a nice touch.

Se escucha mucho ruido y hace que sea un poco insegura el area. Sin embargo, al estar tan céntrico de todo hace que sea uno muy bueno para quedarse y conocer un poco más de Barcelona.

The apartment is perfectly located near the rambla, with lots of restaurants and services but 'hidden' enough not to be disturbed by the street's noise. Perfectly clean and presented as described. There are quite a few kitchen tools which were very convenient, including a stove coffee maker and toaster.It is true that there are some stairs, but nothing too hard to handle if you're used to houses in city centers without lifts.I suggest taking a coffee at the balcony as you watch people pass by and wave to the neighbours, makes you feel like a real local!Renato was a great host, especially considering I took some time to take care of the check in process. He was understanding and even called to remind. The check in process takes some steps but all is well explained through videos. Thank you!

We really liked the apartment, especially the location! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, it is close to the touristic areas, to the beach and to the metro. Even though the apartment is located in a noisy area, if you shut the windows you don’t hear anything. The only thing that really disturbed us during our stay, were the noisy and extremely loud neighbors above us, who woke us up a couple of times during the night. They were walking up and down the stairs drunk and shutting the doors loudly, in their apartment they were also loud which really annoyed us because there is a house rule to be silent after 10pm. I guess that was bad luck on our side.
