Great stay in a quiet coastal village with a short walk to a stunning beach

Easy to find, easy free car parking, well equipped house for us (a couple) close to a main road and a lovely cafe a few steps from the door. Stunning views of Snowdonia. Just a few minutes from the town of Rhosneigr with lots of watersports, eateries and even more great beaches. Don't miss the gentle coastal walking with great views either. We will be back!

lovely location but a bit compact!

Lovely location and cute cottage but too small for 4 people. Main bedroom is open plan to the lounge in the eaves, second bedroom has a double bed in it but impossible to get out both sides. We took our children age 15&16 who ended up sharing the ‘main bedroom’ upstairs as the space in the second bedroom was not suitable for teenagers having to climb over each other to get out. Myself and my husband shared this room which was compact! I would stay again as a couple, but not ideal for 4 ‘adult’ size people. Beautiful location and local beach. Weather was amazing so didn’t cause too much of an issue for us and great value for money.

Very nice cottage in Aberffraw

Generally 5/5. Needs a bit of attention here and there but nothing major. Good location for exploring the island. We had a great week and would definitely return.

All I needed.

A lovely cottage in a wonderful location. Very good value and easy to book and access. I went with a friend and so really appreciated the 2 double beds. There's a cafe close by and a beach close by. I would definitely visit again

Lovely holiday cottage

We have stayed in this cottage several times and the recent improvements have made it nicer than ever. It’s clean and comfy and warm with everything you need including ample parking. The position is fantastic, cafe across the road and pub round the corner, easy walking for beach or countryside walks right from the door. It’s a great base for exploring the rest of the island.

Good weekend, great walks out of the door and of course the wonderful beach for the dog, only one thing missing and that is the Crown!

Beautiful Aberffraw

I have stayed at Llys Llewelyn Cottages on multiple occasions & find the cottages well kept & comfortable to stay in. Brilliant for a dog friendly holiday. Short walk to the Estuary, wonderful beach to walk on. Already booked for next year.

A relaxing comfortable stay

Enjoyed our first stay here very much. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Lovely weather, so saw it at its best. Plenty of parking with the addition of ev charging points which was great, ensuring we didn't need to go hunting to recharge the car. Definitely wil be back!

Yet another great break at Llys Llewelyn, Aberffraw

We have holidayed here many times. Our dog loves it. Lovely choice of accomodation. Short walk to the sandy beach. Cyclists will be happy with good roads starting with the A4080 right outside. I recommend that visitors take a look at the "Meet the team" section on the Anglesey Holiday Lettings site. Each member gives their personal favourite place on the island. Emma put forward Breakwater Country Park near Holyhead. We visited there and had a great day out. Thanks, Emma.

A lovely stay

This property is very conveniently located for Aberffraw beach, which is fantastic, and the town of Rhosneigr which offers more to do in the day and night, and close to many other attractions in Anglesey. The view over the fields at the back of the property is beautiful with cows and sheep wandering up to the window. There is also a nice, enclosed, small garden, which is pleasant, but does overlook the car park for the other properties and the village.

Perfect

This is our third time staying in these cottages. Says it all really. They are delightful. Clean, perfectly appointed, wonderful location. We love it and we’ll be booking for next year too. Only disappointment this year was the village pub was closed but I’m told it’s about to be taken over by new owners so hopefully it will be reopened when we return.

Glad to be back for another lovely stay

Thank you for another wonderful stay at Bwthyn Dwynwen . A lovely location on the Island and so close to lots of beach walks. I love the upgrade to the bathroom but I would suggest needs some more towel hooks and a shelf for toothbrush and toiletries, to save them being left on the sink base. Other than that it had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay. And Maggie says thank you for her dog treats. They and the welcome basket were very much appreciated xx

Ideal for our needs

The property was presented in excellent order, clean and well appointed. It was situated close to Anglesey Race Circuit where we attended a 3 day event so the location was ideal for us. The app with information was very helpful. The only slight hiccup was that I had difficulty finding the laundry room which the app said was labelled and was not. We would certainly return to these cottages in the future. Thank you for all your hard work to make them so lovely!

Enjoyed our annual visit

3rd.visit to this lovely complex and won’t be the last. If we were being picky, having refurbished one of the bedrooms and bathroom, the living area now looks a little tired and perhaps a little more attention to the high level cobwebs!!Also I believe a washing machine is available but no drying facilities. This will not however deter us from booking again as this place ticks so many boxes. Thank you.

A brilliant place to relax in and explore from

We arrived in the dark, in a storm and found the accommodation warm and welcoming. Everything we needed to relax was provided. Self-catering facilities were excellent. The bed and bedding were really comfortable and towels were as new. All the facilities were provided to a high standard. Our dog, Dusty Springfield, is getting on in years. So it was wonderful to be able to have the estuary, sea and dunes just 5 minutes walk away. Once on the beach we had the stunning Snowdonia mountains as a backdrop to our walks along the beautiful sandy beach. The cafe is very useful to have onsite if you don't want to self-cater all the time. Everyone is friendly and the local shop is small but sells papers and essentials, as well as a being a post office. Aberffraw is a great base for exploring the North and West of Anglesey. The pre-holiday information was very clear and having the information app helped with all arrival details as well as hints about where to go and what to do. Altogether, excellent.

Another wonderful stay with Anglesey Holiday Lettings

Our second visit to one of the Anglesey Holiday Lettings properties at the lovely Llys Llewelyn complex. We stayed at one of the other properties last year, but booked at the Bwthyn Dwynwen purely because it had two double beds. The property was a perfect size for just myself, my Mum and our Border Terrier. Once again, the property was lovely and clean on arrival. A "welcome bag" was waiting for us containing lots of lovely treats and discount vouchers (which was a nice touch). The house was well equipped with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. Heating was easy to use. Beds extremely comfortable. Bedding crisp and clean. Towels fluffy. Shower amazing. The area itself is very quiet, perhaps too quiet for some. A short walk down to the beach, and great for dogs! One shop and pub in the village. Also an amazing café across the road. I have booked with Anglesey Holiday Lettings for the last few years and would definitely book with them again. They also offer discounts on future bookings. Highly recommend.
