Telluride Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It fit our group well (two adults, a 7 year old, and a 3 year old). I especially enjoyed its location right in the river.

Great New Years 2019

We had a great stay. It is a small space for 5 adults, but it works. The condo is well equipped. The location is awesome-close to ski lift, gondola, and town.

Fabulous condo.

Great condo. Perfect location. Clean. Has everything you would need. Very comfortable beds and linens. The pool and spa were great as well. Tom and Mindi were so good to us. Very friendly and took very good care of us and our kids. We will be going back next summer and staying at Viking because of them.

As the property managers of this condo, we appreciate how the owners have paid attention to many details, like comfortable beds, great linens and supplying the condo with the important items guests would need to make them feel at home. Room was nice and clean.

Construction in the condo below us resulted in banging and power tools during the day for our whole stay. The contractors even caused the buildings fire alarm to sound. A very uncomfortable and uneasy stay overall. Ask if there is more construction planned before booking this room.

Perfect Telluride Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was fantastic. The condo is perfect for 2-4 people and is located in the best spot! 5 minute walk to all of Telluride's shops and a 3 minute walk to the lifts. We will definitely stay here again! I was surprised that a cleaning service didn't come during the stay to provide fresh towels and that there was no shampoo/conditioner provided. Didn't make a difference for us though - we still greatly enjoyed the condo.

We will be back!

Besides the wonderfully friendly, helpful, and fun personalities of Mindy and Tom--helped us with rides, hikes, Telluride history, replacing a blow dryer, allowing us to stay an extra night, etc.--the location and accommodations cannot be beat. A beautiful view no matter which direction you look (ok, you are in Telluride, probably the case no matter where you stay...) and roomy enough for a family of four. My two boys were thrilled to have bunk beds instead of sharing a pull-out (which they had also, so you could sleep more). Adorable furnishings and decor. Some condos have a front porch, some a back balcony...we had a front porch. We enjoyed sitting out there for dinner, drinks, and even a game of Yahtzee with the kids. A nearby restaurant had live music every evening which only added to the relaxing atmosphere as we lounged on our front porch after a day of outdoor activities. Since we had the front porch, in the back of the condo, we had a reading nook, a perfect spot to read while it was raining or lounge while watching the sunset. The pool and hot tub are great, too. We enjoyed a swim to cool off after hiking in the afternoon and went back for a evening hot tub before bed. Perfect! You can't go wrong with this place. The prices are very reasonable, and we feel we became friends with Mindy and Tom during our short stay. We cannot wait to go back!

You are correct about the lovely window seat and it's such a great place to enjoy the views out of the weather or open them wide up when the weather is good to relax to the sound of the river outside....aahhh! The music across the street at Siam during happy hour is great and not too loud either. Telluride is such a fun town and it's these little gems that make it so enjoyable. It's not your "typical" vacation place, but rather extraordinary with the views, culture, lifestyle, charms and outdoor opportunities of this great little town!! We thank you again and hope to see you at a later date for that game of Yahtzee!! Sincerely.... Mindy and Tom

Good location.

Some wear and tear but that is normal for properties that rent so often. We own a. Property in Breck and many things get broken by renters.

Great Stay!

Great Stay-315 Viking Lodge

Our family of 3 truly enjoyed the apartment at Viking Lodge. It was perfectly located close to lifts, town and the market that made life easy and convenient. The apartment is on the 3rd floor facing the mountain which makes it both quite and gives it a wonderful sunny view. We would definitely stay again!

Loved it!

We had the best experience in Telluride and this was the perfect place to stay. Very easy to walk to the market, gondola, etc from this location. Was quiet and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed the property itself. It was both clean and convenient. We did have an issue with Internet & TV service on 8/28 thru 8/29 - we received the message "Not Authorized" to access any TV stations & the cable modem required a login, which we did not have. Documentation in the unit specifically stated this was not an emergency so I did not call after business hours. I also did not desire to miss an activity the next day waiting for office hours before calling. I did email using an off-site connection. The property manager rather rudely took me to task for not calling immediately even after I explained I did not wish to incur an additional fee or to miss a planned activity. There needs to be an accommodation so peeps are not required to endure a lack of service or risk a fee / miss planned avtivities.

Unfortunately, we received a few calls regarding various TVs not working, there was a town wide issue so we apologize. Although, not warranted a true emergency, if you had called at the time of noticing that your TV was not working we would have been happy to help try to resolve and explain the issue instead of you waiting until you were departing the property to notify us. We take pride in our response time and services and like to ensure that our guests feel taken care of.

Telluride Vacation

Lovely well equipped condo. Great view of San Miguel river and riverside walking trails, plus views of the ski mountain. Short walk to all restaurants and retail. Property management responded very quickly to a few issues that needed attention. Bedding was very comfy.

Spring break 2019

Telluride is an excellent city and ski resort to spend time with friends and family. The place is not overcrowd and everything is easy access. People are very nice too. I will come back soon. Clean and well-equipped

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. Everything we needed was provided. There was enough space for our family of four. It was close to the lift and easily walkable each day. My favorite part was the bay window with its great view of the lift and the mountain. I ended each day sitting in that window staring out at the mountain and the river. A big thank you to David who was very helpful as we were trying to navigate our way up there on a snowy day. He took extra time to make sure our unit was ready early for us as we were trying to get there before the snow started.

This property is located nicely between the gondola and lift 7. There is only one elevator for the entire complex, which is essential with ski gear. Parking is first come, first serve. It would have been nice to have designated spots, as Telluride parking is a premium. Condo was perfect for family of 4 and the combination microwave/convection oven was a nice touch to conserve space. Loved the natural bath products!

This condo had all we needed....good bed, kitchen needs we wanted, comfy, convenient location, clean upon arrival....and...great views from the window seat!! We walked to dinner and the gondola and to fine hiking from town. Contact with managers went smoothly and they responded quickly to inquiries.

Loved our time in Telluride

We loved our 4 nights in Telluride. We were on the 3rd floor and did cause some unwanted inconvenience to the resident below due to our early morning "lets get ready to be on the trail" activities. For that we are sorry but overall it was pleasant.

We look forward to welcoming you! We kindly ask all guests to adhere to the following simple rules. We try to keep our rules to the bare minimum, but please keep in mind that these rules are firm & we greatly appreciate your cooperation:

1. This is a residential building. Please refrain from making loud noise as it is close living & we like to respect our neighbors. Please don't bring the bar back to the condo. If we have any late night noise complaints we may have to ask you to leave. And that would be awkward & upsetting for everyone!

2. Absolutely no smoking in the condo or on the premises of the building. This includes cigarettes, cigars & marijuana (we can smell it!). $500 fine.

3. No pets - please leave your pets at home. Guests who are found to have a pet will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund. Pets cannot be left in vehicles in parking lots. Fines start at $500.

4. Check in time is 4pm & checkout time is 10am. Please do not arrive early, or leave late without clearing it with us first as it can disrupt a tight housekeeping schedule.

5. Hot tubs & Pools - Lodging In Telluride has no control over pool & hot tub closures, cleanings or maintenance issues. We cannot be held responsible for refunds for closures during your stay.

6. For stays longer than 10 days, a mid-stay clean is required for an additional fee.

Travel insurance is available to cover your vacation in the event something unexpected pops up. Please ask for details if this is something you would like to purchase. Please note, while we understand that life circumstances can impact your travel plans, we cannot be held responsible for refunds.
