Der er tre miles af hvid sandstrand, der venter på dig at badekamme, plaske i vandet og nyde solen på den silkefulde sand.

Når det er solnedgang, vil du være ude på stranden for at se det utrolige farveshow over vandet. Der er ikke noget som en golf solnedgang.

Really nice little house just steps from the beach—literally across the street. The area is very quiet with no traffic, and the beach itself is beautiful. We stayed for 7 days and really enjoyed our time here. The balcony has a great view, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Treasure Island Stay

Great Location!

This property is a fabulous location. It’s less than a block to the beach, in a quiet spot and walkable to restaurants. Layout is also great. Beds are not the most comfortable.

Perfect Place

The location was just off the beach. Just a couple minutes of walking and you’re in the ocean. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. We’ll certainly look into this place again for future travels that way.

Excellent Location- across street from beach - has everything you need & washer/dryer are new - - Only complaint is toilet seat in upstairs bathroom loose & wiggled & shower liner needed replacing (some mold) - I also cleaned the disposal which had black gunk in it - But I would definitely stay again - Easy Beach Access & perfect spot

March Retreat

The location of the house was great for a short walk to the beach, dog beach or playground. Second floor patio was lovely to sit and look out at the Gulf and morning sunrise. The house was well supplied however a grill would be a nice addition, if permitted. Indoors, the rugs on the stairs should be updated, beds need to have mattresses replaced as they were not very comfortable.

Excellent Location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Beach House. The location is literally a 1 or 2 minute walk to the beach! Beautiful beach, we found several sand dollars among the shells. The house is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood and has an excellent view of the beach and park from the porch on the top floor. There is a public dog beach on the waterway a couple of blocks away. Great area to walk our dog. The house was very well equipped with several more items than included in the listing such as washer/dryer, nice beach chairs, couple of small wake boards and other beach toys. The 2nd floor bathroom was recently remodeled. We plan on returning and definitely recommend to others.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are from Tinley Park and travel to the Gulf Beaches twice per year. This place and company were terrible, please see title of review. We had to cancel our card. We had to clean when we arrived, they had to send exterminators. All of our experiences throughout the years renting homes on the Gulf Beaches have been wonderful but Waterfront Vacation Rentals was terrible and they do not maintain their properties. We rent twice per year for many years and this is our first bad experience. You run the risk of fraudulent charges with this company as they placed an additional charge without cause or notice. When asked, the company employee became belligerent and is unable to justify the charge. Horrible.

We are very troubled by your review and our experience in dealing with your stay. Reading through other reviews on this property we have never had issues to this extent, it is a lovely property in a fantastic location in which the owners take much pride. In the days following a $50 extra cleaning fee with photographic evidence we have received over a 100 phone calls from you to our office and our emergency line, plus you have even called the police to contact us all while we have been working to find out all details about this accusation and get approval from our corporate office and the owners of the home to refund you the $50 extra cleaning fee. We have since seen your photos and the photos from housekeeping and made the decision to refund money to you yet you continue to harass our staff, call the police and leave reviews all over the internet. We can only do so much and we have done exactly what you wanted.

Location, location, location!

We had a fabulous stay at Sunset Beach House! The location cannot be beat! It’s maybe 100 steps to the pavilion or boardwalk leading right to the beach. Pavilion also has showers to rinse off after being on the beach, nice, clean bathrooms, and a playground area. We never had a problem finding a spot to setup on the beach no matter what time we went down, very calm area. Every afternoon/evening there was a large group of surfers that would gather and were awesome to watch. Not sure if that is the norm, but it seemed like a group that was more comprised of locals and a lot of them seemed to know each other, very cool! The kitchen was great, very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, spices, tin foil, storage bags, etc. Loved the laundry that was just outside in a locked storage room that also included some beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. Some areas that could have been improved were cleanliness off the bathrooms, particularly upstairs. They also were not stocked with hand soap. The biggest challenge for us was the AC in the bedrooms upstairs. If you did not leave the bedroom doors open, the rooms would get 10-15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. Even with the doors open the rooms would still be hotter than the rest of the house. I think this is due to the high ceilings in the bedrooms, but it was frustrating. Overall, we would absolutely stay in the Sunset Beach House again! We had a fantastic time!

Perfect location. Got married over our stay and literally walked across the street.

Great location. Even though it wasn’t on the beach it was only a 2 minute walk across the street to the beach. My family and I really enjoyed it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so fortunate to deal with this group! We had a large group Illinois and Kansas coming in for our daughter's wedding. These people were so incredibly helpful, I will always recommend them. The location couldn't have been more perfect! The house worked well for us, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, good size l.r. Only two bedrooms but even that worked with two sets of bunks and two sofas that were sleepers in the living rooms. A previous tenant left a grill, that was wonderfulto be able to cook out, bless their heart. Felt like home. Very relaxed nice area. Would go again for sure!

Great Location.....just OK facility.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Treasure Island and Sunset Beach are a terrific, eclectic was nice to be a little off the beaten path while still only 5 minutes from st. Petes beach. Neighbours are very welcoming...quiet at night which was partiers! Access to the "tip only" cab service was an outstanding amenity offered by a local St. Petes Beach business. We used it often and they were outstanding. Great option when you want a beverage and want to leave the car parked! Issue#1: Bunkbeds were shaky to the point where the kids did not feel comfortable sleeping in them. Given the bed configuration was a key decision factor given we were a party of seven..very disappointing to have kids sleeping on the floor. Even more disappointing was that the guestbook contained a comment on the bunkbeds dating back to 2011 and clearly the owners didn't react when told of the issue before. Issue#2: When you use the downstairs shower, water leaks out the bottom of the house by the laundry area! So as I am trying to open the laundry door...water is leaking on me!! Issue#3: No grill. We bought one and left it for the owner. Someone can thank us later! Other guests in the neighborhood who were renting had access to grills. Great spot for family of four....if they fix the bunkbeds....6 will work comfortably.

Maintenance man could find no problem with the bunkbeds. Owner confirmed beds are very heavy and stable and the ladder is screwed to the frame. Current tenants said the beds were fine. A plumber is beings sent to address the leak which is occasionally dripping outside in the carport area. Owner is not too keen on having a grill. Perhaps a permanent fixture away from the house . . .. .

Relaxing vacation in Treasure Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had wonderful vacation at this home in Treasure Island. We had to stay one more week in vacation in Florida because my mother was sick. We had to find quickly another place to stay. I wrote to the website asking about this home and I had a quick response and I was able to organize one more week vacation in Florida within 2 days notice. I was a bit affraid of what we would find at the new place since it was organize so fast. We all had a big surprize:the place was nicer than all the other place we have been before. It is very close to the beach, just a short 1 minute walk . Since you have the home for yourself, you can relax and do you what ever you want, nobody to disturb is in a quiet neighborhood. All neighbors have dogs: it is a pet friendly environment. The house was clean and everything inside was working well. They put a book explaining everything you need to know about the place and the neighberhood( phone numbers,internet access number,...). It is near the stores, John's Pass. We had a great time at this home and I would recommand this place to everybody.
