Dejligt, Kihei Maui Condo, kun få skridt fra sandet. Ocean side af vejen, et soveværelse, to bad Condo. Pool er lukket NOVEMBER 4-7 2019 FOR ÅRLIG VEDLIGEHOLDELSE

Soveværelset har en queensize seng, aircondition og eget bad. En anden bad med brus er ud for den vigtigste boligareal. Der er også en sovesofa i stuen, så vi kan rumme op til fire gæster.

I lejligheden er komplet med vaskemaskine / tørretumbler, og alle de køkkenmaskiner og faciliteter. Badehåndklæder, stole, og en køler er fastsat din strand udflugter.

Slap af med morgenkaffe på Lanai, se hvaler i vintermånederne. Nyd de omhyggeligt velplejede tropiske haver. Stranden er kun få skridt væk for dejlige vandreture og smukke solnedgange. Telefon er inkluderet med gratis lokale, og hvor som helst USA og Canada ringer. Gratis internet er også inkluderet.

Very satisfied

Has everything you need to .make your own meals, going out to eat very expensive. Overall very happy with Maui Sunset in general with pool and other activities available.

Wonderful week in paradise!

This condo has everything you need and the description is accurate in outlining anything you need to bring. We were happy the room had beach chairs to use. This was our second stay at Maui Sunset and will be back! When pricing lodging, you can’t beat Maui Sunset.

Beautiful Getaway

Loved the condo, It was very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the patio in the mornings and the evenings, watching the and views of the ocean, and listening to all the bird's singing. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Liked the settting, with peek-a-boo views of ocean. Good for families and oldsters. Would bring my grandchildren to this site again. Could use an upgrade in the furnishings and a better 2nd sleeping arrangement in open area. Upgade older pull out couch bed -- so last century. Did not appreciate the high refundable fee for damages. Found stained carpeting when we arrived. Get rid of old carpeting for vinyl or other easily cleanable surface. Kehei area was active and we found things to do.

Amazing property at the Maui Sunset Condos

We loved our communication with host, the condo was well equipped with things you need for the house and the beach chairs were a bit for our beach days. There were even a couple body boards that we tested out and gifted a beach umbrella to the condo. The pool and amenities were abundant and the grounds were well taken care of it. We can’t wait to go back!

i enjoyed my time here. the condo was just as described. Darrick was helpful and i enjoyed the grounds at the maui sunset. lots of things to do when you have down time. would love to come back.

Maui sunsets

Property was clean. Everything provided was functional. Location was good. Centrally located and easy to get to wherever you were trying to go. Kitchen supplies were a little limited. Overall had a really comfortable stay. Would stay again. Mahalo once again for sharing your place with us.

Great condo, great location, attentive owner

Our stay at this property was outstanding. From the time we booked the unit we could tell that the owner truly cared about our stay. We have stayed in several properties at different parts of the island and we feel we have now found our "home away from home" at the Maui Sunset. Spacious clean unit, large lanai with amazing views, beautifully manicured grounds, and an endless sandy beach for long walks right at your doorstep. Thank you Darrick for providing your beautiful condo for us to enjoy. We can't wait to return!

Excellent stay for the money

Clean, nice unit in good location. Quiet, decent views, comfortable mattress, well-stocked kitchen. Housekeeping showed up a day late with basic items (soap, etc), but apologized for their error. Blackout curtains in living area (near pull-out sofa) and a quieter a/c would be welcome additions. We normally stay in Wailea but took the $1000 we saved and got a puddle-jumper flight to the Big Island and took a helicopter tour of volcanoes - good decision!

Kihei Treasure

What a great complex and condo - from the manicured gardens and balcony ocean views to the beach, pool and tennis/pickleball courts right outside your back door - hard pressed to find a better place to experience Maui. The Condo provided a clean, comfortable base for us to either relax or to enjoy all that Kihei and Maui have to offer. The owner was very timely with communication and incredibly accomodating as we had to extend one extra day. There are restaurants, bars, Shave Ice and grocery stores within an easy walk (all through lovely neighborhoods); and the main Kihei beaches are a couple minutes by car. We have been to Maui several times and highly recommend this Condo complex. The Condo - bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, living room furniture was comfortable. Balcony is a great place to eat meals and to just sit and look out across the gardens to the ocean. The complex staff take great pride in keeping the facility and gardens immaculate.

Really Comfortable Condo

Very comfortable condo. Nice view. Was on the south side of the two buildings, and located right behind the elevators. So, never got direct sunlight on either the balcony or the window on the south side. This meant that the condo stayed cool and we could eat lunch comfortably on the balcony without being too hot. The condo had nice furniture and all the kitchen utensils etc. that one would need, plus beach chairs, cooler, beach towels. The beach in front of the condo was nice for walking, but not the best beach for swimming. We drove to a different beach each day to swim and there are lots of them, so that didn't bother us. We stayed for a week and had a lovely time.

Maui Sunset B407

The property and location was great. The pool and hot tub were clean and we were able to get reclining chairs when we visited. There’s shuffle board, cricket and golf putting with everything you need available. There are at least 5 grills that are cleaned daily and used frequently by the guests. The balcony is very nice without direct sunlight, which I preferred. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and the appliances were all pretty new and functioning properly. The bathrooms definitely need updating and there is a mildew odor. I know people who live on Maui say humidity and moisture are a constant problem. The chair in the living room is not very comfortable and the coffee table is very heavy and difficult to move if you want to use the sleeper sofa. Check in was OK but we checked in after 5 so the security guard gave us our keys. We had to return to the office the following day in order to register our car which was kind of a hassle. All in all, enjoyed our time at Maui Sunset.

Ideal Central Location For Exploring

Loved the park-like grounds of Maui Sunset Condos. All employees are very friendly and helpful, and Darrick was a perfect host. Great central location between Wailea and Ma’alaea Harbor where many water sports and excursions depart. Enjoyed the local feel of Kihei. Condo itself was decent, and the bedroom is dark and comfortable with cool (although pretty loud) A/C. Water pressure in showers was great, and hot water never ran out. Furnishings are a bit dated. Living room not good for sleeping, The Sofa bed was lumpy. Our 18-year old daughter decided it was more comfortable to sleep on the sofa without pulling out the bed. Younger children probably wouldn’t care. Or a memory foam topper could be an easy fix. The living room really needs blackout curtains for both privacy (especially when someone is sleeping on sofa) and for sun protection. The sun beats in through the wall of windows in the afternoon, and the A/C and ceiling fan struggled to keep the living room cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice clean condo with decent view and awesome grounds!

We were pleasantly impressed with this condo for our stay in Maui. It seemed very clean and very well cared for. Family of ours were in another unit that had better views, but was much more outdated and we personally liked the carpet in this unit. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and from the balcony you have nice views of the ocean and grounds. At least at our time of year, end of October, you can JUST not see the sunset from the balcony. I’m sure this changes at other times of the year. Just go down to the pool or huge lawn or the ocean to watch the sunset 😊 The grounds are very well cared for, the grass is so perfect it looks fake! There are 6 BBQ’s and 3 picnic tables that are conveniently located very close to this unit due to the layout of the elevator and walkways. The pool and hot tub are nice, though it is annoying that you need a key to get out as well as into the pool area... but I understand. There is shuffle board, putting, and tennis that you can play for free I believe. We played shuffle board and at least that was free. There is also an area in the pool area where you can rent SUP boards and people take them out right there at the beach there. As for the beach, it doesn’t have much “sandy” area to lay a towel, but there is enough for walking most of the time. You can also lay your towel on the grass which is just up from the sand. As for swimming in the ocean, it’s not the best... it seems a little dirty and it has good sized lose coral you have to walk on when in the water. We did it, but it’s best to go to other beaches. It is also VERY windy... but that makes for great windsurfer and kiteboarding watching. In the morning it is calm and good for SUPs. As for location, we enjoyed the location. We were able to walk to Miss Phat Sushi, Nalu’s grill, and the 4th Friday market! It’s not the most pleasant walks, but it works. All in all, we would stay here again. One big complaint I had was that the gym doesn’t open till 9AM... I enjoy working out a little at least a couple times a week and it wasn’t possible for me at that time... when you come from the mainland, 9AM is SUPER late... Also, the door needs to be pulled shut or it WILL NOT latch!! Even if it looks closed, it isn’t. It is self locking so it could be very easy to accidentally leave the condo open if you don’t check, thinking it locked itself...

Great unit and location

Owner was great in communication throughout the process, unit was very clean and had everything we needed. There were beach towels and beach chairs as well as some snorkeling gear and a small cooler. Washer and dryer in the unit made it so convenient. Close to shops and restaurants, as well as beaches. Our favorites were Ulua and Charley Young Beaches that were just down the street. About 30 minutes to Lahaina, where the mall is. Husband loved the golf courses. Restaurants we went to: Monkeypod. Star Noodle and Japengo. We opted to cook breakfast everyday and everything we needed was in the unit (except the food). There are also BBQ pits and picnic tables, which we used our last evening. My only suggestions are to replace coffee maker (works but seems pretty worn), add a small rice cooker and a beach umbrella (as some beaches have no shade). Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back next year.

Maui Fun

Well maintained condo, conveniently located by elevator. There was no noise or concerns with the location. It came with beach chairs to go and enjoy the time at the beach and the beautiful sunsets. Would definitely rent this unit again.

A home away from home

We quite enjoyed our stay. Everything that could be needed was provided. Very clean & well maintained. Beautiful art photography adorned the walls. Loved the family friendly vibe even though we are seniors. We would stay here again.

A little quieter than some areas, with a family atmosphere, these affordable units provide everything, giving you the option to eat in or out, stay on property or sightsee. Close to Wailea, but much more affordable, and close to all the Kihei amenities, including stores, beaches and restaurants, but in a quieter setting.
The staff is friendly and the grounds are wonderful. You'll find the (mix of owners and guests) other vacationers friendly and helpful as well - you'll be unwinding and relaxing the moment you step onto the property.

Just steps to the ocean, with a beautiful ocean view for winter whale watching from your lanai. Cook your own food as you wish, or enjoy meals out.
