Fantastisk plads til at rumme din familie og venner i stil i denne lyse 9-værelses, 9-badeværelser oceanfront hjem. Den hvide beadboardpanel og vægfarverne giver en klassisk kystfølsomhed til det indre af denne velholdte ejendom. Et stort stort værelse er åben for køkkenet, og der er masser af plads til afslapning og måltider. Måltidsberedning og oprydning får et stort løft med to nye køleskabe og to opvaskemaskiner - plus midtøen byder på ekstra tæller og spiseplads. På hovedniveau løber en overdækket veranda længden af bagsiden af ?? huset og overser den opvarmede pool, stranden og ud til Atlanterhavet horisont.
Syv af de ni soveværelser har private badeværelser, og de to andre har nærliggende badeværelser, som også er tilgængelige for fællesarealer. Tre soveværelser er placeret på hovedniveauet; de andre seks er ovenpå - tre på hver side af et mellemliggende opholdsområde. Ovenpå havet-side konge soveværelser alle har døre til den overdækkede altan på dette niveau. Hvert soveværelse har eget tv, plus der er store fladskærms-tv i det store rum og ovenpå opholdsstue og 300MB Wi-Fi overalt.

Book Club Beach Trip

This house was PERFECT for our group! So many bedrooms, bathrooms and the HUGE great room, double sized kitchen, ample parking and location were all top notch! The pool and beach access were top notch. This house had everything we needed and was stocked very well for a big group. We will be back!

Perfect House for Annual Golf Trip

We plan an annual golf trip to the north Myrtle Beach area, and have been doing this for decades. Over the past year we moved from the golf condos to vrbo homes so that we could all be together. This home on the beach had ample living space for all twelve guys to socialize together. Some played cards, some watched the March Madness, but it was all one big open space between the kitchen and living space so everyone could be together. 9 bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own bed, and for 6 of us to have our own room, with our own bathroom for each room. The home is perfect, as is the outside pool area and deck to walk to the beach. The outside sitting areas allowed for multiple layers of drinking coffee while gazing at the ocean. We're already thinking about booking the same home for next year! A all around.

Family Fun at the beach

Our group had 6 kids under 5. The house worked well for a big group. The living room accomdated everyone and did not feel cramped. The beach access is top notch and the pool was wonderful. There were plenty of plates, silverware and pans.

The property is conveniently located on the beach and we also loved the private pool. Most days the surf was very safe for children under 4, playing near waterfront. There are a ton of beach chairs and beach umbrellas at house, so wish I would have known that. The kitchen was well-equipped except for wine glasses—probably need a few more of those. Our family loved the open floor plan for kitchen/great room and also enjoyed all the dining table options for a large family. We were a bit concerned about the height of the deck railings for small children, but these may be a standard height. We loved going in September because not a lot of people on the beach. Overall, a great experience!! Thanks so much!!

Nice house but needs deep cleaned

Overall we had a pretty good experience with this property. It is large and has 9 functional bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a large group and everyone had space to move around. It was a right on the beach so you could just walk out there at any time. It was not real clean. There were several nails sticking up on the deck boards on the walk way out to the beach!! My niece stepped on one and had to go to the hospital for stitches. I called the realtor and they said they would send someone out but no one ever came.

Great Family Vacation

The was the first time we ever did a beach vacation as a whole family and we couldn't have picked a better place! The house had plenty of space for all 21 of us! The pool and the access to the beach were perfect!

Great place to stay, but needs some TLC

Love this place. Great for a large group of adults. The pool deck needs replacing and some of the bathrooms need work. None of the upstairs TV's were working the whole time we were there. Cleaning and inspection before arrival was a joke. Expected more for the price.

Lots of space, but linens only provided for weekly rentals!

We stayed at this rental for a weekend work retreat. I will start by saying that I was wildly impressed by the vast number of rooms, bathrooms, and general space. It was more than enough room for everyone in our party (19 adults and 3 small children) to be very comfortable. I absolutely loved the private beach access, which was extra convenient for the kids/families to access the house for midday snacks and naps. The house was clean and (mostly) in pristine condition when we arrived. The only qualm I had with this property was that we did not realize until the night before our trip started that linens were allegedly only provided for weekly rentals. This included sheets and towels for the whole house. This information is available only in one small line of a paragraph of description for the property buried between several other distracting statements about how linens WERE in fact provided. This caused a certain amount of chaos prior to our departure. We ended up all bringing our own sheets and towels but then arrived at the house to find some moderate quality white sheets and towels in all the rooms and bathrooms. I emailed the property managers prior to departure to confirm, too, whether or not we needed to bring our own sheets to which they only said "I would plan for that". I really wish we had had more explicit instructions in regards to this issue. Similarly, we did not receive check-in information until 36 hours or so before check in. In the past, I have experienced receiving very detailed instructions 4-5 days prior to my trips. I would have appreciated more direction about all of these things. In summary, though, we would probably come back to this rental mostly for the space and the beach access.

Excellent house for an extended family gathering

This is the third time we have stayed in Family Tides and we will be back. The nine BRs and nine baths work out perfectly for our extended family. The heated pool and beachfront access are icing on the cake.

Fantastic views and location

This house was perfect for our group of friends visiting the beach in the winter. Plenty of room to spread out but also tons of space for cooking and eating as well as common space for talking and playing games. The view of the beach from the porch, living area and front bedrooms are fantastic. We had the misfortune of visiting during the longest and coldest cold snap on the NC coast in a century but we were able to enjoy the views from inside the house and a few brave folks even got out to walk on the gorgeous, quiet beach. The property managers were very attentive to us during our stay. At one point a pipe burst to the outdoor shower (since it was about 20 degrees out) and maintenance was there to fix it within 20 minutes after I reported it. Someone else came by the next day to check on us as well to make sure there were no further issues. I'm sure this is an amazing house to visit as a summer rental but it was a great winter stay as well! I can also report that the heat works great because we were definitely there at a time that put it to the test!

This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful home.

WE have loved having our small group from Christ Community Church at this lovely home for 2 years now and have already signed up for next September. Only one complaint -- the rug in the living area is a hazard as it slips and several of us almost lost our balance because it gathered up in a bunch since it does not have any kind of backing under the rug. Just FYI FOR THE OWNER!! Otherwise, it was great. There was quite a lot of crumbs etc in the bottom of the oven drawer when we got there so was a little disappointed in the cleaning. thanks a lot. Perfect beach house

We have been coming to OIB for several years looking for the perfect house for our family vacation. This year we found it at Family Tides!! It is spacious and beautifully decorated. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need plus all cabinets and drawers are labeled for easy access and put away!! The dining area has plenty of room for our family. There are 2 decks that overlook the ocean, beach and pool deck. Pool is a good size too with plenty of seating. The carport area has a charcoal grill and large picnic area and plenty of space for kids to play on a raining day. We have already booked for next year and looking forward to our to our 2018 family vacation!

Five Star Vacation Beach Home

I have to agree with the other reviews that this is one vacation home that has everything! Nine guys/retirees/golfers found this spot for the perfect weekend reunion. Several flying from out of state, I was initially worried about the linen package offered since I'd had issues with other rentals in the area. But I was pleasantly pleased that the rental company took all the worries out of the equation. Since Family Tides has a variety of bed sizes, my worry was to match the linens with bed sizes and this particular rental company had all the bed linens individually shrink wrapped and labeled for each bedroom. And all linens including bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, bathroom mats as well as kitchen towels were professionally packaged. I was so pleased!!! The living-dining-kitchen area was all in one large, well lighted room with lots of sitting area as well as three dining tables and loads of chairs so that everyone could eat together. This is a great attraction for larger groups----no longer having to take turns to eat!!! And of course 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms was a very positive addition. Our group decided to make our own Lowcountry Boil with fresh shrimp from local Holden's Seafood----perfect for preparing your own fresh seafood meals. First concern was whether the house had adequate pots and pans. To our surprise, the house is supplied with loads of large cooking pots and every cooking and dining utensil you can imagine. Certainly no shortage here. And for cooking hamburgers or steaks, there are two charcoal grills under the house, out of the weather and along with a new picnic table. One of the major advantages from us older folks that need to stay out of the sun, is the two huge COVERED decks overlooking the ocean. One on the main level and the other upstairs.What a great spot for that early morning coffee or afternoon cocktails watching the sun come up and those wonderful afternoon sea breezes coming off the ocean. And there is even a nice fan and eating table on the main level deck. Plenty of sitting places on the upper deck including a nice comfortable glider. Just a perfect location for enjoying the outside without actually getting in the sun. And of course, the heated pool is an extra surprise for those early morning dips!!! Family Tides is certainly a great spot for larger groups. We will be returning to this location for sure next year.

PERFECTION!

I had a dream….for 4 years I dreamed of a vacation with my daughters, their families & my parents at a beach house on the Atlantic Ocean. I searched & searched & I found “Family Tides”. At the last minute, we decided to throw in a wedding! This home has absolutely anything & everything you need to make your dreams come true, too. Everyone (we had a full 25 for the wedding weekend) was so impressed with their individual rooms. All the beds were comfy & only 2 rooms didn’t have their own bathroom although they were right out the door. Most rooms also had direct access to a deck. If you wanted privacy, you had it & the large gathering areas were magnificent. The sectional was what sold me on this place. We had 9 people on it, 2 were lying down & there was still room for more. We were all able to gather together for meals with seating for 26. As long as we’re talking about the meals, let’s talk about the kitchen. The 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers & 3 coffee pots were lifesaving. This is the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. I had plans to make chocolate chip cookies with my grandchildren and wondered if I’d need to purchase cookie sheets….NOPE. You need it, it’s there. Annnnd, all clearly labeled to easily find & return for the next guests’ use. Yes, you’ll need to bring your own spices & condiments but you should expect that. As it was early April, we heated the pool & the kids practically lived in it. The “noodles” provided were a joy to my littles. We also made a point of having 1 full beach day & were thankful for the beach chairs & incredible sand castle making kit. So much fun beachcombing. We loved all the seating options on the decks. We could get together at a large table or escape to our own little corner for a cup-o-joe & enjoy the view. Nothing was overlooked by these owners when they prepared this place for you. We arrived with intentions to explore the island yet we only left for provisions & hurried back. Let’s talk about that wedding. My daughter had dreamed of a Hawaiian beach wedding yet sometimes your dreams are bigger than your pocketbook. All of her dreams were exceeded. We used the parking area under the house for the reception & it was GORGEOUS! Plus, when the bride and groom arrived, they were greeted with an abundance of filled croissants, frosted brownies & a couple dozen cupcakes & a beautiful wedding card from the owners. We were all blown away by the kind gesture and happily enjoyed the treats for days.

Beautiful vacation beach home

We are a group of 6 couples who have vacationed at Ocean Isle Beach for over 20 years staying in many different homes and when we found 410 East 2nd Street, known as Family Tides, we knew this was the best ocean front vacation home on the beach! It is beautifully decorated throughout, has a super big kitchen, 2 large dining tables, a huge island with even more comfortable seating, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges, and really gorgeous bedrooms throughout. This house is so comfortable, has the million dollar ocean front view with pool and deck. We have rented this wonderful home for the past 6 years and will return again! Last year we mentioned that a porch ceiling fan would be great, and there it was this year! This really is an awesome vacation home!
