We’ve had a wonderful stay in Kiawah, certainly made perfect by our stay at 1 Nicklaus Lane. This is a fabulous home, giving us an opportunity to enjoy all of our children and grandchildren for a most memorable Christmas holiday. As others have mentioned, the home is extremely well stocked with everything one could want and need to cook for a crowd, enjoy the beach, or lay around the beautiful pool. A truly lovely rental and first class property.

Ideal Home & Location

We absolutely loved this property! The amenities were perfect. The decor was beautiful. There was plenty space for gathering and private quiet time. The pool and deck were great for all day use. And the proximity to the beach was amazing - just a 3-5 minute walk. We vacation at Kiawah every other year and this has been our favorite home. Will definitely rebook!

Beautiful property. Great location. 1 block from beach.

Property is terrific looking and overall in a beautiful location. The pool is a great amenity. The property easily sleeps 15. The property manage is very responsive. Much of the property looks brand or almost new. My only criticism is that some of the dining room chair cushions are in need of replacement, the bathroom floors may need a little bit of a deep clean, and the bed sheets need replacemnt.

Fulfillment of number 1 bucket list wish

We were so blessed to stay at this lovely home. Its location could not be better, and it is well-equipped, thoughtfully designed, and family-friendly. We appreciated double ovens, two laundry rooms, two frigs, an ice maker and night lights, as well as games, puzzles, towels and pool and beach items. The rooms are large, and we loved having a big table where we could all gather. We appreciate the generosity of the owners in sharing their home and making it possible for families to have such a special time together. Our time there included precious memories that will be treasured by all of us. Our grandchildren all expressed a desire to return next year. While this was probably a once in a lifetime trip for us(My bucket list of sharing Kiawah with grandkids), if it is in God's plans, we do hope to return one day. We appreciated the speedy response to replacing the pool net for cleaning the pool. We were told ahead of time that there were no beach or pool towels, so we packed them, but the house had a ample supply. Not a huge deal, but towels take up a lot of space in suitcases when flying across the country. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!

October getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was absolutely beautiful and fit our family perfectly. The pool was awesome and already heated when we arrived. It was fun watching golfers walk up the fairway to the green and humorous watching golfers trying to chip onto the green with deer grazing close by. My grandchildren loved looking for alligators and enjoyed them from a distance. The beach itself was a short walk from the house and we had many walks. From a constructive criticism standpoint the dishwasher was a nightmare and none of us could figure out how to use it and we all have dishwashers at home. Also the tube on the back of the dryer kept coming off. Both minor issues and did not detract from our wonderful stay and would not hesitate to rent the house again.

Great property. Very well done. Unfortunately, elevator did not work, 2nd floor dryer did not work, and trash cans were full when we arrived. No credit was offered.

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your home. I see from our records that we did advise of the upstairs dryer not being functional before your arrival. As there is another washer dryer set that is perfectly functional in the home, we did not believe that a credit was necessary in this case. Unfortunately, it does not seem that we were made aware of any issues with the trash or elevator during your stay. The trash is picked up by the town weekly with back door service. I do not see that any other guests have had issues with the elevator, but have passed your comments to our property management team to ensure that it is working properly.

Perfect location. Beautiful home

We rented this house for an extended family get together. It is just a few minute walk to the beach. The layout is great for multiple families. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and watching golfers from the deck. The kitchen is big and had everything we needed to cook. The layout of the kitchen could be better. The house is beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our houses 1 Nicklaus Lane fit our needs almost perfectly! The only flaw we could find would be the pool. It is a little too small and narrow. The house was perfect!!! It has an amazing floor plan and worked perfectly for us! We LOVED it! I usually like to choose a new house each year, but If I could rent this house every year, that would be wonderful!!!!
