This cabin is so nice and beautifully decorated. We especially appreciated the comfortable furniture and very well appointed kitchen since we spent so much time sitting in front of the windows and enjoying the incredible view. The back patio and deck were just the icing on the cake!

Lovely, cozy cabin with all the necessaries provided. Great place to relax with a book and look over the “river” which is surprisingly like a creek that far north. The decor was a bit overdone for my taste, mermaids and bears in the bathroom and lots of directives to relax in sayings upon the walls, as well as lots of red, white and blue to celebrate 250 years, so I get it!

We enjoyed this cozy little cottage so much. We sat out often on the deck and just listened to the Hudson River, which really is right there. Bliss. The cottage is adorable, there wasn’t one thing lacking. The host, Pam, is just a delight to deal with which added to the warm atmosphere.We are looking forward to another visit. This area has so much to offer, something for everyone.

What an amazing find!The minute that I walked into the cottage, I was so happy that I didn’t choose to just stay there for three days. We chose to stay for five and we still did not want to leave! We are back home now and we already miss it! I have a new obsession with chipmunks! Fly fishing was incredible and I have never seen such huge Blue Jays!Thank you thank you for an incredible time!We will be back sooner rather than later!

This is an excellent description of chicken soup for the soul. I love when something as cozy as the River Song can immediately make you feel special at entry, with all its character, whimsy and interesting things to look at. Hopefully it made you smile allot. So glad to hear about the fly fishing being a success, other guests have reported the same. Fabulous place

We had a great stay here. The view was incredible and we really enjoyed exploring the area- would definitely recommend

This was such a great house for a weekend getaway with my teenage kids. The firepit area was so cozy and we had the best time hiking down to the river. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was located in an amazing spot looking over the river. Every detail was carefully thought out in the cabin including towels, utensils, appliances even a Keurig machine which made our morning coffee by the river even more enjoyable!

Cozy house in gorgeous place.

Cozy small house to stay for family with little kids. The house super clean and well stuffed. Bring food with you because the grocery shop and the restaurant 20-30 minutes driving.

Relaxing and scenic

What a wonderful, comfortable place. The owner was very thoughtful and the house was well stocked with everything you may need. The view is gorgeous. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Fantastic place

We loved our stay! The place was in a great location with a gorgeous view of the river. Well stocked on spices and kitchen items, a great spot for morning coffee on the porch, and the gifts were a lovely touch. The bird feeder outside the bedroom was a great way to wake up! I’d definitely love to book here again.
