Windancer 406 -

Windancer offers top level amenities with the classic Florida low-rise resort feel. Tucked away on east end of Scenic gulf drive in Miramar Beach most locals don’t know Windancer lane even exists! Little do they know its right in the thick of things! One mile north of the condo you’ll find the silver Sands outlet mall with over 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurants there’s plenty for the avid shopper or diner! Up and down scenic gulf drive you’ll find countless restaurants and local surf shops of your choosing. The building offers a gulf front community pool, gulf front community BBQ grills (charcoal) and complimentary beach service for each of its units (2 chairs, 1 umbrellas per condo)

The room itself has granite throughout as well as cozy furnishings and upscale appliances. The main level offers a living room, dining room and kitchen – all with gulf views! You will even have a private balcony with views as far as the eye can see! This level has a king suite with full bathroom and laundry. The second level has a queen loft bedroom and a full bath. There is a bonus attic bedroom for the kids with two twin beds which has sloping ceilings so this room is best kept for the children.

Fourth Floor:

First Level: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Master Bedroom with Shared Walk-In Shower, Laundry.

Second Level: Loft with Queen Bed, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Bedroom with Two Twin Beds.

*Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is seasonally heated.

Great Place

We absolutely love staying here!!! We met some wonderful people!! We had plenty of room in the condo and easy beach and pool access.

Beautiful View

We only stayed at this property a short time due to issues we were having with our first location at Navarre Beach. This portion of beach/ocean was a huge improvement. The condo had a lovely balcony and view. The master bedroom is spacious and the main floor was clean. The upstairs loft and bedroom needed to be vacuumed and stayed pretty humid/muggy despite having all fans on (only one ancillary fan was functioning) Overall, the kids were still able to sleep and use the space but reported being hot all night. We would stay here again.

Not so picture perfect

We were very excited to be beachfront on vacation but that was the only positive about this location. The pictures had to have been taken when first purchased. Everything is very worn and dated. The cleaner smell was very strong when we got there but sadly it faded and there was a permanent mildew smell. The master bed had a bad odor but I don't believe it was the sheets. The mattress needs to be cleane. You can see the ridiculous amount of dust when looking around so it's obvious that deep cleaning is not being done. We won't even talk about what under there bed looked like. The washer is tiny so don't expect to get much laundry done unless you want to stay inside doing it while others are out enjoying their vacation. The downstairs bathroom sink wouldn't drain but luckily we were able to fix it. You have to keep the air at 72 to keep the unit from freezing so it's HOT upstairs. Fans were provided but they didn't work. Make sure you take power strips because you are limited on working power outlets. Then, we had the problem with our chairs being stolen within the short time frame of sitting them down by our door and running in to gather stuff up to head back down to the beach. We called the number we had and were told to check with security. We did not see any security officers the whole time we were there. We called the number posted on the wall and the message said it was after hours so we never got help. For the price you can definitely find better. Would not recommend staying here.

Windancer fun

Windancer room 406 was nice. Needed some deep cleaning and repairs on many outlets, new coffee pot, could use some more silverware. Linens were plenty and very clean. Several worn spots on loveseat and table chairs were falling apart, plus the master bedroom had a headboard under the bed (not sure why). We don't watch much TV, but could have used some instructions for the 5 or 6 remotes for the main tv. View was beautiful, but room stayed a little warm even when left on the recommend 72 temperature. We will definitely return, but may search for another room. Thanks for a relaxing long weekend with my boys!

Great Location!

We've stayed at the Windancer property for years, but never in this unit. It was a bit dated and worn, but it was clean and plenty of room for our party of 6. We will be back!

Love the small feel of the property. Have stayed here 6 years in a row. Lots of construction going on while we were there. I would have been great if the rental company made us aware of this. The unit we rented was comfortable but in need of some TLC and upgrades

Beautiful View, with only a few building issues.

We did enjoy our stay at the condo. It does need a deep cleaning, probably hiring an outside cleaning service would help. The elevator broke daily, which was not a huge issue unless we had the wagon. The building itself need lots of repairs. People left trash everywhere, someone left a bag of trash outside our door, and we ended up taking it down. Someone really should walk the property picking up trash. We would stay in this building and condo again. Overall a great place.

Condition of condo

The condo seemed to be well worn. Shower had mold on floor in corners. Lots of dings on walls. Bathroom is in need of paint. Unit sleeps 6 but sofa and love seat only comfortably seats 5. Kitchen was not well stocked. No dishcloths. Floor did not seem clean to us. Carpet on stairs well worn. I think the unit needs some attention. We did have a nice time however.

Perfect spot for us

Great location. Plenty of room on the beach for everybody to spread out. Nice view of the beach from the balcony. Unit had the things we needed for cooking. We would happily stay in this exact unit again.

Vacation 2020

We got to spend some much needed family time with our boys and one of their fiancée. Weather was perfect other than the usual pop up showers. We ate some great food while there. Our condo was perfect for us. Nice and clean and perfect view. The beach attendants were very nice and kept us informed about the weather.
