the pictures used were of a part of the house which look good but old bait and switch too another area which was much smaller without a chair or table for meals. the floors were dirty too,

Over all the space was nice and clean. Having two rooms was the reason we booked here, but there was no additional places to sit, which made visiting before bed hard unless we all sat on the bed or on barstools in the hallway. They had a small bar with microwave, fridge, and coffee pot, but no utensils. That could have been bad planning on our part, but it would have been good to know what wouldnt be available.

It was the perfect place for us to stay for the Fourth of July holiday. We you have an extra bedroom and this was the perfect solution. Great location the view to enjoy coffee were amazing.

Awesome stay at Rockport!

I loved staying at this place! The owners are very nice people who accomodated to the requests I had! The house is well equipped with everything I needed during my stay. It is also at a great location (We walked every day to the beach and shopped around the nearby stores which are pretty boutique stores). I will definitely be coming back again!!

LDW 2021 Memory

The shower head in this unit is powerfully amazing, makes for a great massage after a long day at the beach. Tony was incredibly responsive and helpful. Great proximity to beach and dining. I would highly recommend renting this unit.

I wish I had paid more attention to the pictures and description. The "kitchen" area was a microwave and mini fridge and bar with stools. No living area with a TV. So if you wanted to watch TV you had to do it in bed. Good thing the weather was good and we were able to sit outside on the porch couch to visit.

Place was ok with a few exceptions.

The place was nice for the most part. A few too many live roaches in the shower. No utensils were provided for making coffee. No way to wash dishes. Did not have a kitchen. Just a small refrigerator, toaster & coffee maker. Would rent again but maybe in one of the other 2 units.

Our host was very accommodating when we arrived as our original unit was not as described (B). A microwave, a 2 cubic ft dorm fridge and a coffee pot does not equal a kitchen or a kitchenette. We moved to unit C which did have a kitchen. The coffee pot had no lid so the coffee overflowed from the basket. The shower curtain was really old and didn’t close properly so we soaked up water after every shower and the unit had no heat. So the first night there it was 45 and we stayed spooned the whole night because humidity and that temp equals freezing. The unit was clean. There is no pier for this unit so the pier fishing we thought was available was not there. We were awaked by palm fronds falling on the roof while being cut down and a lawn mower our last 2 days at the crack of dawn. Also a there was no iron to press clothes for a nice dinner out. We won’t return as this just doesn’t meet our needs. May be a great unit for a single fisherman.

From the Owner: We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our property. We tried to accommodate you by switching units because when you booked the property, the description was not carefully looked at. It is as advertised and is smaller than the unit we transferred you to. - We no longer have a private pier because it was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. However, there is a wonderful public pier to fish from down the street. - Thank you for letting us know about the ironing board. This will be addressed immediately.We strive to deliver a 5-star experience for all our guests. We hope that they read the listing very carefully so that they know what to expect when they arrive. We will continue to do our best for all our guests.

Awesome Location

Rental property is located opposite the bay! In a few steps we were enjoying Gulf Coast fishing and relaxing. Downtown is just a walk away as is the beach park. Room (Unit B) was small but there’s enough space to enjoy a good night’s sleep with plenty of room in backyard for a social gathering. If you plan on using gas grill you might want to pack essentials like spatula, tongs and trays. Overall a great place to stay!

Post-Covid family reunion

There was some flooding in the area and the owner was concerned for us. They stayed in touch with us and made sure the stay was perfect, and it was.

I feel scammed

I don't know how people are giving this 5 stars. It's listed as a house, but has no living area. The so called living area/kitchen is actually a hallway. There were no coverings on the doors so you had no privacy unless in the bedrooms. There were dead roaches on the floor. The bathroom smelled really bad of urine. The towels were folded and put up still very damp which may explain the the mildew smell through out the place. Linen on both beds had stains and one had strands of hair throughout. When I pulled the blanket back on one bed there were little black things all over. Not sure what they were. We had to go to store to buy linen to place on top of the bed and had to sleep fully dressed. This was such a miserable stay there was no way we could spend a second night there. As a management company I would suggest taking this property off your listing. These problems could have not been just a one time thing.

The photos on this listing show the location of the kitchenette as well as the window coverings and blinds in each of the rooms. We passed your comments on to the owner and they wanted to share the following: “We use a professional housekeeper and a service that sprays for insects regularly, but the beachfront location and humid weather means sometimes there are interlopers between their visits. I am saddened to hear that you did not enjoy your visit. Family trip to paradise

We loved our stay at Casa Pescadores! This was a family trip to celebrate my sister & my son's birthdays and get some beach time. Our room was very clean, comfortable and especially nice that we could be next door to my sister to share this time together. Our room was equipped with 2 queen beds, nice spacious closets and drawers for our stuff, a spacious bathroom, stackable washer/dryer, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and bar top with stools so we could enjoy our meals. It is a wonderful, peaceful space. My 2 year old son loved feeding the seagulls and walking along the water. We had such a great time. We could sit on our private patio area and watch the sunrise and sunsets. Very close to shops & dining but feels very private. Our hosts were very helpful and gracious and we really enjoyed out stay. I would highly recommend Casa Pescadores. We will be back soon!

Best Wind Down in a Long Tome

One of the most relaxing and enjoyable stays I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful bay view just steps away from a spacious, clean and comfortable suite, with a large comfortable bed. If you like beautiful sunrises and sunsets, long walks with your significant other and/or kids, this is the spot. Well cared for, clean, and tastefully furnished, you’ll love this as a weekend getaway or week long excursion. The fish are jumping and everyone you see is as friendly as can be. I’d book again in a heartbeat!
