Adorable Home in Cherry Grove w/ Private Pool - 4 Blocks to the Beach & $300 FREE Activities Daily

Thank you for your feedback. We were very surprised to read these comments, as none of the concerns mentioned in your review were reported to us at any point during your stay. Had we been made aware of the closet doors, kitchen faucet, freezer, carpet, tile, jetted tub, or pool lighting, we would have gladly investigated and addressed any issues that required attention. We ask guests to report concerns during their stay for exactly this reason. Our team is local and available to assist, but unfortunately, we cannot correct an issue we do not know exists. This is particularly important with something such as broken or sharp tile, which we would want brought to our attention immediately so it could be addressed. We take the condition of our properties seriously and will have our team inspect each of the items mentioned in your review. We only wish we had been given the opportunity to address these concerns during your stay rather than learning of them for the first time after departure.

We're so glad you enjoyed the home! You're correct that the pool heater was not on, as you did not elect to heat it nor pay the fee as noted in the description and in the check-in instructions. Thanks so much for staying with us.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the property very nice. We complete detailed deep cleans and special projects, such as full carpet cleanings, during the off-season to minimize disruption for our guests. In the meantime, our housekeeping team maintains the property carefully between visits. We appreciate your comments and look forward to welcoming you back!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the house overall good. We do wish we had heard from you during your stay regarding the shower and supplies — our team is available by text and would have been happy to send housekeeping or maintenance right away. As stated in our rental agreement and check-in instructions, we provide one starter roll of toilet paper per bathroom. If you truly found less than that upon arrival, a quick message would have allowed us to resolve it immediately. Clear communication during a stay helps us ensure the best possible experience for every guest. Thank you for vacationing with us!

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the location, and we're sorry to hear you were disappointed with other aspects of your stay. None of these concerns were reported while you were here, and we always encourage guests to reach out immediately so we can help — that includes anything from pool concerns to missing kitchen items. The pool was serviced during your stay, as it is cleaned and maintained twice a week. As for the bunk bed, our team has thoroughly inspected it and did not find any issues with its stability. Had you notified us, we would have gladly sent someone out to tighten anything for peace of mind. We simply can't fix what we aren't told about, but we're always available and happy to help when given the chance.

We’re sorry the weather wasn’t as warm as you would have liked for your stay, but you definitely could have arranged for the heat on the pool to be turned in prior to your arrival so that you could enjoy it no matter the temperature outside. We are also sorry to hear that there may have been cleaning challenges with your stay. We wish we would have been contacted during your trip about this when you reached out with questions about the Wi-Fi and that you were missing a sheet, as we definitely would have sent the cleaning supervisor back to the property. We strive to deliver a 5-star experience and wish we'd been given the opportunity to address the issues during your stay, rather than find out about them after the fact in a review.. That said, we appreciate you mentioning this now so that we can review them with the external cleaning company we use. Thanks for staying with us!

Thank you so much for the kind review! We're thrilled to hear the location, amenities, and pool were a hit — and that our team was able to quickly assist you during your stay. We also really appreciate the honest feedback about the living room carpet. You're absolutely right — that’s not something we could replace mid-stay, but we’ve already flagged it for our maintenance team to address. We’d love to welcome you and your family back anytime!

Regarding the palmetto bugs, those are prevalent here especially when we have had as much rain as we’ve experienced in the past several weeks and they are not a reflection of the cleanliness of the home. Any local in the area or frequent vacationer here can attest to this. This home is on a preventative pest maintenance program, and that still can’t always stop them. That said, this home, along with all of the other properties we manage, is scheduled for a deep clean and refresh since the season is coming to an end. As one can reasonably imagine, it’s impossible to do that during the summer between back to back bookings.
