Easy Time

We enjoyed the house. Nice and bright. Temperature on the pool and Jacuzzi was on and off again. But they were very attentive. Layout was really great.

Beachcomber is the most elegant, clean house. Our stay was perfect. I was relaxed all week and never had to leave as everything you need is there. There were enough kitchen appliances and pans to cook . Th rooms are bigs and spacious. He bathrooms are very nice. The pool is big and a lot of space for the whole group. The theater is huge with enough space for the group. There is so much space that several families can stay there but will not be on top of each other. I highly recommend Beachcomber for you next stay as it will be a relaxing stressful clean and beautiful stay.

The house was not very clean at check in. It looked like the cleaning service did a poor job preparing the house. There was visible mold in the showers and bathtubs. Hair in the bathroom drawers. Baseboards throughout the house were dusty. Bedding extremely worn. You expect more from a luxury property. Master shower drain was clogged and the shower pan filthy. To their credit, the host responded and remedied the problem quickly. I had to buy cleaning supplies to make it usable. Walkway to the beach had nail heads sticking up from the decking. Otherwise, location was great. All tv’s and appliances were in good working condition. Beach access was easy with a public walkway beside the house so you could avoid the stairs.

Amazing Home & Location — Management Company Needs Work

The house was awesome — incredible layout, location on the beach, and overall setup. We were supremely disappointed in “Elliott Beach Rentals”, the 3rd party management company that maintains the property. I use VRBO all of the time and have traveled to luxury rentals in many different spots in the US and overseas. This experience was one of the worst and most annoying that I’ve ever had. Here were our issues: - A/C wasn’t working on the top floor — the thermostat was off and totally dead and the floor was REALLY hot and humid. This was obvious upon arrival, so whomever prepped the house knew it and did nothing. The A/C people couldn’t come out until day 2 — so 6 of our party slept the first night in really hot conditions. - The elevator didn’t work — was flashing, which again, should have been obvious to whomever prepped the house for arrival. Sloppy and certainly not “luxury”. Upon the elevator guy coming out — he “fixed it” — but it still kept going in and out of service, so we didn’t dare use it. - One roll of paper towels in each bathroom with no extras — like, something as simple and basic as having 2 extra rolls in each bathroom is standard at EVERY rental I’ve been in, nevermind a “Luxury rental”. - No bar soap, no handsoap, no dish soap, no liquid soap of any kind in the house — not expecting you to provide my toiletries for the week, but how about some dish soap in the kitchen and a bar in each bathroom? Lazy and inconvenient. - No trash bags, no dish detergent, no soap for doing dishes in sink, nothing. We received multiple emails and texts threatening us with cleaning fees if we didn’t clean everything up perfectly, but had to go buy our own cleaning agents??? - No batteries in 7 of the like 15 remote controls — obviously weren’t checked upon arrival — had to buy batteries. - No instructions of any kind for the various televisions, stereo system in the house, and system in the movie theater — we eventually figured it out, but come on - No spices (salt & pepper shakers?) of any kind, no paper towels, and no condiments of any kind in the “gourment kitchen” — never seen that in any property. - The LAST STRAW that is resulting in this review — they parked a giant crane in the driveway on day 2 — and on Saturday morning at 8am had a crew banging on the side of the house for 2 hours fixing the siding. Unacceptable. The owner of the property should demand more out of Elliott Beach Rentals.

Pool

Mostly good but late check in and problems with the elevator. Also, pool was great but pool lounges were very hard and uncomfortable. Cushions needed! House pretty adequately furnished!

Great Place for a get away!

Annual Spring Break getaway with friends and family and we picked a great spot this time!! New build home, lots of room for everyone, great location. We really enjoyed our stay!!!!

Beautiful house

Beautiful beach front house with awesome upstairs space with movie theater for kids. Had issues with the pool heater, but company was very responsive and fixed immediately. Nicest house on the block.
