Fish Haven Cabin w/ Game Room, Views + Deck!

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad the home was well stocked, clean, and worked well for hosting your large family. What an amazing bonus getting to see the Aurora Borealis during your stay. It means a lot to know you had a 5-star experience, and we hope it made for some unforgettable memories.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and had plenty of space and things to do! Record heat outside can definitely make a difference indoors, and we appreciate you sharing that detail. Thank you for the great feedback and for choosing to stay with us!

From the owner: "Camille, We were very surprised by your review because what you viewed as negative, specifically the decor, is seen as a positive by most of our guests. Our reviews are full of guests raving about how unique our cabin is and how they love the decor. We are so sorry that the cabin did not meet your expectations. You also indicated that there is nowhere for kids to play, just heavy vegetation. Again, the majority of our guests consider the location a great benefit. The cabin is at the mouth of Fish Haven canyon, so trees and vegetation surround it. Guests comment that they love the secluded location, and several have detailed that their children love exploring the wooded area on foot. You emailed me before your arrival and asked if there was an area to play kickball, and I responded that there was not and suggested a local park you could use for group activities. Our listing also includes many aerial pictures of the outside of the cabin, including the vegetation and gravel driveway, so that you, or any potential guest, can make an informed decision about whether our cabin aligns with your needs & wants before booking. As for the air conditioning, I do appreciate you bringing the dusty filters to our attention. The air conditioning was installed at the beginning of the 2022 season, and after seeing your feedback, our cleaning and maintenance crew will be cleaning the filters more frequently. In our listing, central air conditioning is not listed as an amenity, so the majority of the guests have been pleasantly surprised rather than frustrated. I also give great advice in the "Welcome Book" on how to keep the cabin cool and comfortable. Thank you for the feedback. I hope you can find something that matches your needs and expectations next time you book a vacation rental. Thank you"

Mark, We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and found that the cabin and amenities suited your needs. Because of the unusual heat that occurred in 2021, we have since installed air conditioning so that our guests have the best experience possible. Thank you for your feedback and exemplary review!
