Welcome to Casablanca on Captiva Island, Florida. Our four bedroom/four bathroom vacation rental home located on world renowned Captiva Island can accommodate up to 14 guests. The home has two master suites with king sized beds, the first guest bedroom with two full beds and another with two bunk beds that are both full size beds. Plenty of room to entertain and have a great time while on vacation. The full modern kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals for your family and friends. Downstairs is the private heated pool, separate hot tub, lounge style seating and ping pong table. There is a gas grill to bbq steaks, burgers, hot dogs or your fresh catch of the day! Once you stay in a private home, you'll never want to be cramped in a hotel room again. We'll look forward to welcoming you to Casablanca Home on Captiva Island very soon. New owners have updated the entire interior of the home from the floors to the walls. Outside is freshly painted and nicely updated as well.

Casablanca has been upgraded with a state of the art whole house air purification system for your safety and comfort. Features of this system include:

* Dual ionizers to reduce airborne particulates (dust, dander, pollen, mold spores)
* Kills up to 99% of bacteria, mold and viruses
* Reduces sneeze germs by 99% in the time a sneeze can reach three feet.
* New zinc ions kill 99% of viruses on surface
* Allows customization of the advanced oxidation plasma output.

*Important Note: This rental does not include beach chairs or umbrellas. Instead, we’ve partnered with VayKLife to provide you with a credit toward beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons, and more—so you can pack light and still enjoy everything you need for a perfect day at the beach. While some of our homes may have beach gear on-site, availability varies, and we cannot guarantee specific items will be provided. With VayKLife, you get to choose exactly what you need, and they’ll deliver it right to your door for added convenience. Your booking confirmation includes a link to VayKLife’s site, where you can browse their full selection and easily redeem your credit. It’s just one of the ways we help make your stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Beautiful home just a short walk to the beach. We nearly had the beach to ourselves during our late August stay. Great shell beach with plenty of space to walk. The view was gorgeous and the waves were mostly gentle. Very relaxing.The inside of the home exceeded our expectations even though the photos looked promising. Our group was small, but this house has so many venues for sitting and gathering, it would be great for a large family or multiple families traveling together. The private pool was fabulous and so pretty. Having two outdoor shower/rinse-off options was handy.We didn't use the outdoor games but I can imagine how wonderful they would be if we'd had a larger group, with kids of all ages. Recommend you pick up some citronella candles while you're enjoying the outdoor areas, and invest in organic bug sprays.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casablanca on Captiva! The layout was perfect for our family of five, and the house can comfortably sleep up to 10. Booking and check-in were seamless, and the host was fantastic to communicate with. They even had a few heavier boxes we needed delivered waiting for us inside when we arrived which was a thoughtful touch!The house is beautiful, clean with great wood floors, Captiva inspired décor, high ceilings and plenty of space. The location on peaceful Laika Lane is fantastic, with easy access to the mostly private beach. It honestly felt like we had our own little piece of Captiva. The pool underneath the house was the highlight for us. We could enjoy it for hours, even when the weather wasn’t great, while still having areas to relax in the sun. The house was also very well stocked with towels and amenities.Our only minor issue was with a few of the TV and ceiling fan remotes, which we made the host aware of.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casablanca! **One tip: rent a golf cart — it’s the best way to get around Captiva**

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for a large family. There were enough places to gather as a group or to get away to a private area. All the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was large and had plenty of kitchen cookware and utensils. The pool area was perfect for relaxing or playing games (corn hole, ping pong, foosball, etc) . The master bedroom was very spacious and private. The house was so quiet inside and well insulated, so we didn't hear talking and sounds from other rooms. The house was a very short walk to the beach, but also easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The island itself is very quaint and had some cute places to go, beautiful scenery and beaches, and very friendly. The one watchout we had was that there is mainly one grocery store in Captiva. It had almost everything, but of course a premium price. If you want to shop at chain grocery, you drive to Fort Myers (40 min), which by the time you factor in the gas and time, it is about the same to shop on the island. The speed limit of 25-40 for most of the trip is what makes it so long...and there are many police patrolling. Other than that, we loved everything. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Rental

We’ve been going to Captiva for over 20 years and have stayed in a different rental every time. We’ve finally found a house that we all loved! Close to the beach and village, immaculate, and great communication with the management. We will stay here from now on!!!

2023 Captiva Island

Very nice house with tons of room super close to the beach and everything else in Captiva. We had everything we needed. Captiva was busy with workers restoring damage from Hurricane Ian, which is a positive sign. The beaches are in great condition. We would love to stay here again.

Needs a little TLC but location is great.

The location is wonderful... The house needs a little TLC. Some paint and pressure washing will go a long way. The pool area needs some attention. Kitchen supplies need to be improved. I realize they are still recovering from Ian, maybe finish all repairs before renting again. But the location you can't ask for more.

Lovely beach house

First of all we were disappointed on entering the house as the photos were inaccurate. Instead of light and bright colours and furnishings in the living room, the sofas were darker and uncomfortable. I appreciate there’s been a hurricane but the house could do with some tlc. The dishwasher didn’t clean well, the blinds were broken, the valances on some beds were badly torn, carpets could do with a clean etc. upstairs shower in double room wasn’t very good, however, beach towels and bathroom towels were great as was the washer and dryer. The house is huge, and the upstairs bedrooms gorgeous. The pool, although smallish, was a huge hit. It’s under the house so our little ones didn’t need sunscreen continually. The seating area was nice and flexible. Barbecue worked well. The walk to the beach is just a few minutes and along the beach to the Mucky Duck is just 5 minutes. We had a problem with the aircon which was a blockage and sorted after 24 hours. The Wi-Fi was a constant pain and never resolved by Dream Vacations. We loved the convenient location, but feel the house is let down by small things mentioned and some paintwork.

WiFi router was broken for 2 days, owner didn’t reply until we finally had to have the management company go get a new one, pool was supposed to be heated and it was not until we asked several times and four days later. So communication wasn’t great. House was nice. They give you two trash bags for a week…. I’m not sure who is stealing trash bags but not sure guests should need to buy trash bags for a stay.

When the Wi-Fi issue arose, our team immediately contacted the internet service provider to report the outage. Because it required a technician to come on-site, we were at the mercy of their dispatch schedule, but our management team stepped in directly to expedite getting a replacement router installed for you as quickly as possible. Regarding the pool, the water temperature was maintained at a comfortable 86°F through ambient weather without needing the heater engaged. When you requested a higher temperature we weren't able to set the heater settings to accommodate your preference for 90° water, unfortunately. Lastly, as disclosed in our listing details, we provide a starter kit of essential paper products and household supplies (including initial trash bags) to cover your arrival. Because guests have varying needs over the course of a week, additional consumable items are the responsibility of the guest once the starter set is used. We appreciate your stay and your constructive comments, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!

Private paradise

This was our first stay on Captiva Island and the vacation was a great recharge for the family. Casablanca was an easy walk to the beach and everything was neat and clean upon arrival. Only issue we had was a water filter needing changed on the refrigerator, which the property manager sent via Amazon overnight and had installed. Great overall!

Great location

Property was as advertised. Very spacious and enough for two families (4 adults) with 5 children under the age of five. We probably could have squeezed in two more adults or a few more children. The pool area and jacuzzi underneath the house was a nice bonus and a great place to congregate after a day at the beach. The beach is a short walk (~3 minutes) or 4 houses down from the beach so it made it easy to run back to the house if you forgot something. The location is nearby a number of restaurants which are a 10 minute walk or a short golf cart ride.

Just love Captiva Island. Casablanca was a great location. Overall a good experience.

Early Xmas in Captiva at Casablanca

Family of 12 down for an early Xmas vacation Great House great location we would definitely come back. Property Management Ryan was extremely responsive to all of our needs. Still have an ant issue on the back porch. The mattresses could use updating.. We had a great time would like to come back to Casablanca next year!!!

Great Vacation Rental

Impressed with the property size and amenities. The walk to the beach was very short. Close to restaurants and shops. House was well stocked with towels and beach chairs.

Excellent property. HUGE.....HUGE.... Will rent again. Very clean. Minor issue with ants in kitchen and great room.....not enough to deter a return rental, but should be addressed. Communication was great upon arrival....pre arrival communication sparse, limited, nonexistent. Any questions were answered in syllables. Specific questions on beach chairs, umbrellas etc barely answered. Caused us to take our own. As it turns out, great chairs and umbrellas....could have saved us a lot of packing and space in car. Same for beach towels....very well equipped...we took our own. On the flip side, glass ware very sparse for 4 adults, and house designed for a ton more. Great experience overall. Early comms could have been a lot better. Comms during stay fantastic. Glassware needs to be addressed. Ants need to be addressed....and beds are horrible....absolutely horrible....new owner needs to address. And yes, I will still rent again. Beds.....ugh.....

Hi Carl Thank you for your review and so happy that you had a great stay. We have a system set up to automatically send arrival information 3 days prior to arrival and a text message the day before arrival. Sometimes the messages can get filtered to junk or spam. Our apologies again on that. We try very hard to make sure we get back with guest questions no matter the time or day. We’ll also take a look at the glasses and the beds to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. The home does have pest control as well so I’ll make sure they get out again to treat the kitchen area.

Excellent spacious house 2 steps from the beach

We all loved the house’s generous space and well-appointed layout, the convenient location to the beach, beach accessories, pool, hot tub and ping pong table. Overall, Casablanca is an excellent unit. Kitchen- We do not expect retail level cleanliness, but this was an area needing improvement. Also,It almost seemed like there was straw inside the mattress. At least one bed (Master BR) was pretty unstable; it sunk in the middle. My wife and I would come back gladly. these are small, fixable items in the scheme of things. If we don’t give you honest answers they cannot be improved. Thanks for an enjoyable visit!
