Family reunion at the Lighthouse

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a wonderful week at cinnamon Shores for family Reunion. There are 18 of us with 10 adults and eight kids. The house was perfect, fairly soundproof, the big kitchen and seating area was put to great use. The location is great just down from the main pools, and next to the boardwalk. The mobile coffeehouse across the street was really open which would’ve been helpful for some morning brew but other than that the resort amenities are perfect. We had a great time and would happily stay here again .

A family reunion of 18 with a perfectly soundproof house, a big kitchen that got put to great use, and right next to the boardwalk and pools sounds like an absolutely perfect week. We hear you on the mobile coffeehouse hours and will pass that along to make sure morning coffee is never hard to find! We can't wait to welcome your whole crew back!

Great stay, even better staff

The house is everything you need for a larger group. More importantly, the staff and service was top notch. We had a few hiccups during check-in, but they were able to send folks out to fix the issues immediately. Communication was very professional and incredibly easy, all handled over text message. Highly recommend

Lighthouse June 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our family of 19 in regards to bedrooms, bathrooms, decks, kitchen, bar coolers, etc. We have been going to Florida for years and this was the best house for us. It was clean, well stocked and a great view even though more construction may block it. Even though we weathered a tropical storm (Alberto), it was one of our best family vacations.

Great Family Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My extended family (15 adults & 7 littles under 5) recently stayed at The Lighthouse and had a fabulous time! The house is beautiful and there was plenty of room for all of us. The balcony faced the ocean and we would sit out listening to the waves and watching the pelicans fly by. Beach crossover was right next to the house and the pools were a very short walk - perfect location. We will be back!

Wonderful vacation rental for very large family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lighthouse is a beautiful house and wonderful for a very large family! It's close to beach boardwalk and C-2 pool. Since our family of 18 ate in almost every meal, the two dishwashers were "must haves". Plus there is a laundry room on each of the 3 floors which allowed us pack lightly and wash as needed during the week. Would definitely rent this house again!

Great house for very large groups. Easily accommodated our group of 14 with more than enough beds, bathrooms, dining and seating areas. Elevator was very helpful in getting groceries, coolers and luggage to upper floors. House is also very close to the bridge to the beach which made it a short, easy walk. House also has multiple balconies with several chairs and partial ocean views. All in all, it was a great house in a great location. We’d definitely stay there again.

We would definitely book again unfortunately it is not available for our dates in 2025. This is our 4th year at Cinnamon Shore and first year at South. We were close to both pools and the beach access. Hope the other amenities will be available next summer. The kids missed being able to walk to those things.

Couldn’t be happier. We had ages 7-77! Hope to return next year!The only disappointment was communication with the management office while there. Not easily accessible. Could call but had to leave messages and response was not timely.The only emails we ever received were about payment and/or other options while there.

Everything was perfect—the location, the layout, amenities and space. We had plenty of room to spread out and the house furnishings were both comfortable and beautiful.

Yearly Famliy Gathering at Cinnamon Shores

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very disappointed in the maintenance of the house. The elevator was broken (was called right before leaving town day of arrival), the mircro wave did not work with out holding the door closed and the back door was only able to be lock by the inside. Maintenance did come and look at these but was not able to fix for the time we were there Wednesday-Monday. The kitchen on the 3rd floor and the ages of my grandchildren made it difficult to manage the stairs. Children 1,2,3,7,9. I spent a lot to rent this property and felt that these broken items were part of the rental cost. I could not recommend this property with the experience we had.

Not quite Paradise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lighthouse is perfectly set up for a large family gathering. The bedrooms are spacious. The separate living areas are a nice plus. The balconies are a great place for a morning cup of coffee. When we arrived, the elevator wasn’t working, so we had to lug all our food and drinks up to the third floor. It was difficult for some in our party to manage the stairs, which is why we chose a home with an elevator. The microwave only worked when you pushed against the door. One of the dryers didn’t work, and one of the ceiling fans didn’t work. The refrigerator was at 50* when we needed to unload our perishables and didn’t reach the proper temperature until the next morning. The maintenance person set off an alarm that could be heard throughout the house when he came to check the elevator and left. After about an hour of listening to it, we realized he wasn’t coming back. Thankfully, the front desk was able to get someone else to come silence it. Considering the cost of renting from CS, one would think they would do a better job of upkeep on these homes. However, we have experienced problems like these in our last 3 rentals. It is unfortunate.

Great house!!

It was great with all the kids. The construction was a little rough. We got stuck at our place a few times because of heavy machinery blocking us in. I would wait until next year or until the majority of the construction is gone to consider South again.

Ants and Cold Water

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were ants everywhere. Four people had to sleep on couches or double up to get away from ants in beds and on walls. They were also in the bathrooms crowding sours the floor. We siding have hot water for over half our stay so we had to take cold showers. The gas grill outside was broken and only had one of the three burners operational. We have stayed at this house before and this was not the same experience. For the smoky of obey we paid we were extremely unsatisfied with our experience. T
