The property was great and was exactly as advertised. However, the communication from the host was problematic. First of all no email was sent regarding instructions to get into the property. We had to contact the host for the instructions on the day of check in. The reply was prompt but generated by AI. There were no instructions for the property (usually some type of binder or notebook) including getting onto the wi-fi network. This was not a big deal for us but for someone who works remotely it could be a problem. Once at the property the cell service is non-existent (at least for our provider).

We're glad the property lived up to what was advertised. Regarding the check-in instructions, that's a bummer; it's possible the email landed in a junk or spam folder. We do keep a guest book on-site with details like the Wi-Fi setup for reference during the stay. As for cell service, we've had reliable coverage there for years, and it's continued to improve over time, though we've found that enabling Wi-Fi calling can help with any spotty moments depending on the carrier.

Wonderful getaway

The All Views cabin is just as described in the listing. It is clean and airy with beautiful views from the balcony and loft. The property is situated on a steep slope which gives it lovely unobstructed views and also limits the property’s accessibility to a yard for hanging out or for children to play on. We were blessed with two snowy evenings on our stay and the vaulted windows gave stunning views of the snowy nights.

Overall it’s a nice and cozy cabin! Easy parking and easy to get to. Views were amazing. A few of the plugs around the cabin don’t work. Before our stay I emailed the host but never got a reply. I was asking about kitchen appliances. There is only a keurig k-cup machine for coffee. No hot water kettle for the stove. Luckily we brought our own to make tea and instant coffee. We would stay again.

However, we’re sorry for the confusion regarding your question about the kitchen appliances before your stay. We did send a text response to the phone number provided to let you know those specific items were not available, but we later realized the number had been entered incorrectly by one digit on our end. We apologize for that oversight and any inconvenience it may have caused while planning your visit.  Regarding the outlets, we identified one outlet at the end of the kitchen counter that is not working and will be addressing it, while the other outlets throughout the cabin are working as intended. We appreciate you sharing your feedback and are glad to hear you would stay again, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience."

Beautiful Views, Great Location

We were very happy with this rental! Good parking which is hard to find. Could not imagine the view being any better. Very clean and tidy! Only complaint really is that there was no hot water (lukewarm but not hot) the water heater temperature must be set VERY low. Not desirable when it is snowing outside. The thermostat was locked and it must’ve been set to 60 or less it was very cold had to go buy warmer PJs for sleep. Not ideal with small children. They caught a cold. Also, steps very icy with snow and could use some rock salt. Other minor things: extra blankets but no extra pillows for sleeping (unless you’re OK using couch pillows); fireplace but you must bring your own wood there was not any there for use. Still not deal breakers but things that are good to know before you go.

Pro: beautiful home with a truly outstanding viewUnfortunately, there were more cons as we need to deal with 3 parties managing this property.- Before heading down, we asked about the broken downstairs shower head since we saw it in a previous review. We were told it was fixed and when we got there it was still unusable.- The inability to control the heat made it difficult to sleep both nights.- The power outage our first night was difficult to navigate and we did not get a response until the next day.- The beds/mattresses were very soft and lumpy and unfortunately we all could barely sleep.- The trash cans were mostly full when we got there.- Could not use the fan in the loft.

Wonderful family time

We really enjoyed our stay. Spent with our family. Cabin was just as described. Parking was good except for the neighbors parking. We will be back hopefully end of October

Beautiful Cabin

Stunning views, and the cabin is incredibly clean throughout. We had a lovely time exploring the area and relaxing each night with the marvelous sunset & city views.

Cleaning Needs Improvement

The cleaning was extremely poor. Does not seem like has been cleaned in a long time. Between vacancies, not cleaned properly. Trash bags on balcony. Debris and dirt under furniture. Great cabin but just needs better cleaning practices.
