Regarding checkout, our office is located just about three minutes from the resort. Because these are physical resort access keys that must be accounted for between reservations, we require guests to return them to our office rather than leaving them at the property. This allows us to verify that all keys have been returned and have them ready for the next arriving guests. We’re glad the quick stop didn’t take away from your experience and look forward to hosting you again on your next Myrtle Beach vacation!

We do wish you had contacted us during your stay, as we did not receive any reports or concerns from you and would have been happy to assist. We would also like to clarify the comment regarding the two missing bedspreads. If a king and queen bedspread were not present when you arrived, we wish you had let us know so we could have had replacements delivered. Nothing regarding missing bedspreads was reported to us during your stay. Interestingly, immediately following your departure, our cleaning team reported that one king bedspread and one queen bedspread were missing from the condo. We contacted you that morning asking whether they had been moved elsewhere in the unit, accidentally packed with your belongings, or if you had any information regarding their whereabouts. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response. These appear to be the same two bedspreads referenced in your review as having been missing during your stay. The other concerns mentioned in the review were also never reported to us. Had we been made aware of them, we would have been happy to investigate and address them promptly. We’re glad you otherwise enjoyed the condo, and we appreciate you choosing to stay with us. Thank you again for your feedback and for being our guest!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear certain aspects of your stay were disappointing. The balcony covering was part of temporary exterior maintenance being completed by the resort, which is outside of our control. As you noted during our communication, this work is managed by the resort, and advance notice regarding specific buildings or units is not provided. When you contacted us regarding the paint dust, we responded immediately and offered to send someone to vacuum and address the concern. You declined this assistance at the time. Had access been granted, we would have resolved the issue promptly. As outlined in the rental agreement signed prior to arrival, temporary construction or maintenance may occur at any time, especially between the months of October and April, and is not reflective of the unit itself or its ongoing upkeep. We appreciate your acknowledgment that these matters were outside of our control and thank you for staying with us.

We actually stay in constant contact with our owners so they’re all very well aware of the conditions and updates needed for their properties. This condo is actually scheduled to be renovated after the busy season, but I’ve relayed your feedback to maintenance. If any issues are found, they will definitely be fixed.

We are sorry to hear that there may have been challenges with your stay. We wish we would have been contacted during your trip, as many of these items are easy fixes. We strive to deliver a 5-star experience and wish we'd been given the opportunity to address the issues during your stay, rather than find out about them after the fact in a review. Having said that, it’s very surprising that we didn’t hear from you if the cleaning issues were this bad. Also, we are emphatic when we say that there have never been cats in that condo as all of our properties are pet-free. This condo stays readily booked, so wear and tear on the carpet and furniture is a given. That said, as previously mentioned, the condo will be getting new furniture and a revamp during the off season.
