Outdoor adventure meets endless fun at this amenity-packed mountain escape called "Daltons Creek Cabin"! Thoughtfully designed with families in mind, this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation rental sits on 23 private acres and boasts a fire pit, game area, and floor-to-ceiling windows with impressive natural views. When you’re not hiking through Elk Knob State Park, boating on Watauga Lake, or strolling along the cabin’s property, soak up the tranquil scenery from the hot tub and relax on the deck with loved ones!

***This cabin is accessed by a long steep graveled driveway. We HIGHLY recommend a front wheel drive vehicle with good tires or 4WD or AWD for our cabin, year around. Tire chains and 4WD or AWD may be necessary during the winter months.***

From a friend group getaway to a family retreat, this spacious cabin located in Creston, NC (30 minutes to Boone and 30 minutes to West Jefferson) offers all the makings for a peaceful escape including panoramic views and all the comforts of home! Ashe County is the coolest corner in NC!

Bedroom 1: King Bed (master main floor) also has En Suite Master Bathroom with double sinks, separate garden tub and shower | Bedroom 2: King Bed (main floor), bathroom located next to bedroom | Bedroom 3: Queen size bed, Twin Bunk Bed (upper floor) with En Suite Bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Indoor Living: 3 Smart TVs (no local channels-only streaming apps), gas fireplace (seasonal), dining table for 6 with additional seating for 3 at the bar, game room in basement w/ foosball table & electronic basketball game, books, laptop-friendly workspace, cathedral ceilings w/ floor-to-ceiling windows, ceiling fans and AC. There is a full size washer and dryer on the main floor.

Outdoor Living: Private hot tub, back deck with dining table and gas grill, fire pit w/ Adirondack chair seating, on-site small creek & walking trails, mountain & forest views.

Kitchen: Fully equipped w/ stainless steel appliances, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, regular drip coffee maker, Crock-Pot, toaster, tea kettle, breakfast bar w/ seating, Hobart stand mixer blender and more.

General: Free WiFi (50+ mbps speed), linens/towels provided, full size washer and dryer, hair dryers, air conditioning, keyless entry, starter supply of trash bags, paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Pets are allowed with a 1 time nonrefundable pet fee of $75 plus tax per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Pet fee does not cover excessive pet hair, damages or clean up after you dog(s).

-The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home nor hot tub area.
-There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
-No Smoking inside the cabin
-Minimum age requirement is 25 years old

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, ice, and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy and slick in the winter months. For the safety of you and your party, Please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive/AWD, good tires, and/or chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
