Great little weekend getaway

Perfect place for a couple to base themselves for a weekend getaway to the peninsula. Close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough from the noise and lights to be relaxing.

Unique getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, the check in process and communication was great. We loved visiting the horses, sheep, alpacas and Shetland ponies! The location was great too, about a 10 min drive from the shops and cape Schanck! Would highly recommend for a unique little getaway!

A wonderful getaway

Loved the property and very good hospitality. This place is an absolute gem if you're seeking a short break to get in tune with with yourself. Loved the overall idea of a tiny house placed in such a beautiful location. Highly recommend.

The home was the perfect gateway- clean, cosy and most importantly calm - perfect for a couple looking for peace and quiet

Cute place, nice views, beautiful animals!

Cute little place, has everything you need for an over night stay. Felt peaceful and relaxed, beautiful views and the animals was the icing on the cake! Mini ponies and alpacas 🙂 got the pat the friendly horses. Hosts were lovely, would definitely come back.

Nice for a night . New and pristine inside . Some suggestions - would great better with a large deck around the outside and outside lighting . No where to go or sit outside at all -needs extra shelving above kitchen and hooks in kitchen area hang up mugs plates and kettle - needs extra wide shelving in bathroom to put toiletry bags and the like - needs a small vac stick on the wall for floor mess- needs shelving & large hooks to hang travel bags no room to move in 2 people - would put swing bracket tv on the wall next to bed

A cute place

A tiny house in a lovely location. Perfect for a one night stay. Best parts- watching the sunset and the kangaroos at dusk. Comfortable bed. But only small timber seats to sit on.

The scenery and tiny home was perfect and exceeded all of our expectations! The animals in the area were so cute and friendly and we will definitely be coming back. Martin was such a lovely and understanding host as well

The perfect place to reset

Absolutely incredible stay! The view was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, I almost didn’t want to leave it. I felt really safe and comfortable in the tiny home. Thank you to Martin for being very helpful with any questions I had.

Extremely cute

The tiny house was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very compact and had the essentials. Heating was great during the cold nights. Very close to the peninsula hotsprings (10min drive) so we ended up going every night. The eco toilet was a bit strange.

A peaceful setting

The ‘tiny house’ was clean and comfortable. It is situated on a peaceful setting. It seemed pricey for the size but it had the basic needs and was accurate to the description. It would certainly not be to everyone’s liking.

A gentle and relaxing time

Just what I needed, space, seabreaze, a beautiful view to unwind and relax. The Tiny House cocooned me in warmth & comfort for a week, making me feel safe. The little problems that occurred on the first day were felt with quickly by the wonderful hosts. if you need time out this is the place for it.

No smoking on the entire property not only do they own the cabins they own all the air that in the entire atmosphere.

Very nice but a bit noisy and dusty

Was very nice, easy to get to. Doesn’t look like it had been cleaned too well, just a bit dusty on benches and bathroom. Property owners were having a party on one of my nights staying and I did have to ask them at 12:30am to keep it down. But once I asked their guests were quiet.

Perfect for a night away

I booked this for an over night stay for my Hubbies birthday as a surprise and wasn’t sure what his reaction was going to be as we arrived to the accomodation. He was pleasantly surprised! The location is beautiful with a great view of the ocean and friendly farm animals. We didn’t even hear them while we slept. Bed was comfy, super clean, had all the amenities we needed and we were surprised by the great shower pressure. Toilet is non flushing which I was worried about the smell but in all honesty it wasn’t an issue at all. Good communication with hosts & easy check in. Would stay again :)

Tiny Away Cape Shank

As a tiny house owner and enthusiast I enjoy staying in other peoples Tiny Homes. Issues - heating single pane floor to ceiling windows dont work - need to be double pane eglass. Reverse cycle heater mounted above bed blew down onto your face - but it was too bloody cold not to have this nuisance on. If you are a rotund shape it was very difficult to open the door to the shower as the composting toilet was placed too near. It was OK but the design of this little basic tiny without storage left a lot to be desired particularly if you were there for a couple of days
