The view from the balcony was wonderful! We could see the ocean beach, dolphins, the bay, and condo pool. Rooms were overly spacious and all the restrooms were convenient for our family of four. The options for activities were endless. My son for got a stuffed aninal after we left and the resort check-in desk was so gracious in letting us go back in to get it. We would absolutely stay again!

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Portofino Island Resort 5-1003 offered such a wonderful balcony view—seeing dolphins, the bay, and the pool sounds lovely. Pleased the spacious rooms and convenient restrooms worked well for your family and that the many activity options added to your stay. We appreciate you mentioning the front desk’s help with the stuffed animal and will share your kind words with them. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Our condo was nice and clean. We had family staying in the same tower so it was definately convenient. I reached out to the host twice before our stay with general questions and never received a reply, but perhaps that is because it is managed by a property agency and not the actual owner. We didn't use our room much other than to sleep and shower, we were at the beach or the pool most of the time. So if you are only needing a place to lay your head at night, you can probably find a place to stay that is less expensive than Portofino.

The Condo was perfect! We had 6 people total including 2 kids. The views were FANTASTIC, the property supplied ALL basic needs! They even had some beach chairs and family games in a closet! So thoughtful! The beach water was beautifully blue and refreshing in May. The pools were refreshing but felt good (warm) even during colder days, and the hot tubs were hot. Showers had great water pressure and whirlpool tub was a great way to wind down. Cooking and grilling were a great option for us and everything tastes batter by the ocean! Overall our trip was a DREAM! Thank you for sharing this condo at a price we could afford!

This place smells, simple as that. The property folks tried there best to help with ozone machine and Jacob who is the property manager tried his best to help us but it was to no avail. Unless that machine was running the place smelled like curry or something. It was there the first day and it was there the last. Besides that it was a real nice place.

Hi Brett, thank you for your honest feedback, and we are truly sorry about the odor during your stay. That is frustrating, and we really appreciate your patience while Jacob and the team worked with the ozone machine to help. We are taking a closer look at the source so we can fully resolve it and keep the unit fresh for every guest. We hope you will give us another chance to host you and leave you with a much better experience.

Girls trip

We love stay at the Portofino. It is such quick access to the beach and being able to go out on the balcony every day to see the sunrise or the sunset and just fill the Seabreeze. We were on a 30's girls trip. We will turn 30 this year and we've been friends for 20+ years and it was a perfect place for us to have a girls trip to be able to relax and have all the amenities we needed. The spa was amazing!

Location is very nice at beach and pools

Spacious apartment at beach resort with pools and the beach is 3 minutes walking. The apartment can use some maintenance and paint. I found it unfortunate that the door in the smaller bedroom could not be opened anymore (though clear due to safety).

Great View & Amenities

Upon arrival, first visual was the view and unit very spacious. Were some issues with the cleanliness and we reported to management. There were some minor maintenance items which we reported upon departure. Overall these minor items did not disrupt our vacation. We do recommend this unit. Staff very friendly.

Fantastic & beautiful views and property

We LOVED this property! The unit was clean, furniture in great condition, amenities galore. The property had TONS to do - which was a factor for us in the event of inclement weather for the week we were there. There was a MAIN indoor and outdoor pool, a pool and hot tub at each Tower, a spa, Market store with Starbucks, restaurants, beautiful grounds, parking garages and covered parking, a quick walk across the street to the beach. It was wonderful. The only downfall would be all of the extra "fees" for HOA , etc.

Great Property!

After a minor hiccup of not having our amenity sheet, we were able to check in without an issue. The only downside to our entire stay is that the AC did not work. However, the property manager went above and beyond to communicate to us and make it right. They even offered us another place in case we wanted to move. The property itself is great. The location is great. Portofino is very convenient and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

Overall good stay

Overall this property is beautiful. We had a great time, the property was clean and the beds were comfortable. The amenities were awesome as well especially after a long drive and we could just eat on the property. However the bedroom with the queen beds door to the patio doesn’t work which caused an issue with who was going to stay where, in the description of this property it says all bedrooms have patio access. The other issue is the people above us were so loud we couldn’t sleep and it really affected our stay. This property should require people put sliders on their furniture, the noise was awful. Overall it was a good stay but if you have bad upstairs neighbors and want a peaceful stay this property may not be for you.

Mother’s Day weekend 2022

The location of the property was perfect. However, the unit is dated. There were no smart TVs available (if that is important to you.) VCRs and DVD players were available. The TV in the master bedroom didn’t work at all. The living room light switch was cracked. So the light only stayed on if someone was holding it.

Birthday Vacation

Overall, the condo was a nice place. There were several improvements that need to be made. There were no pots and pans in the condo to heat up any food or leftovers in the oven. The floors were not as clean as they should be considering we were paying for the cleaning service. Both the shower head and the garden tub faucets need to be replaced because they dripped the entire stay. I would suggest adding an additional sofa or a couple of chairs to facilitate better seating accommodations.

Had a great view ! The condo needs some work though. The dryer was broken when we arrive. Maintenance came work on it but nothing dried. Oven door wouldn't stay closed. Lights turned on and off by themselves. Bedroom door had a lot of tape as a repair instead of being replaced. Door frames need repairs. Dont get me wrong we had a great time but i just think for the price i payed i shouldn't have came across this.
