This is our second time staying here with our young daughter and everything was perfect - cute, clean, lovely welcome pack, extra cot, fireplace, stocked kitchen, access to the pools and lake - we love it when visiting family nearby!

The cabin was absolutely breathtaking! The hosts went above and beyond with a thoughtful touch with a basket of Goodies and some mores supplies were waiting for us. Clean, comfortable, and the perfect escape from the city. We will definitely be back!

Cozy getaway!

Ruth & Robert were excellent hosts, very attentive, great communication and they made us feel welcomed! It was clear they thought of us when preparing the home for our stay. The home was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. Neighborhood amenities were plenty but didn't always align with our schedule I think because it was early summer hours. But location was great and easy access to the things we planned to visit. We felt right at home and would love to return!

Our stay at this East Stroudsburg home was exactly what we needed—a perfect getaway! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay.We especially appreciated how well-equipped the property was, making it easy to unwind and enjoy our time together. We stayed for a long weekend with our 2.5 year old and the place was great, even a little play area outside and lots of room to run around. The welcome package with snacks and wine was especially nice after a long trip. We’d definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay

Blissful Fall Retreat

Robert and Ruth are truly excellent hosts! The property was clean, safe, and had everything we needed. This was perfect for our family (parents and toddler), and we cannot wait to return. Thank you for sharing your home and helping us create lasting memories!

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. My 6-year-old loved the trampoline, even in frigid temperatures. We stayed during a week when the community amenities were limited and when the weather was bad so we mainly hunkered down inside, cooking, reading, playing games, and having movie nights on the couch. The home looks just like the pictures. The hosts were communicative and always available.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home over the 4th of July weekend. The house was thoughtfully designed, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was also very family-friendly—our 8-year-old especially loved playing with the chess set, which was a fun surprise and kept her entertained.Unfortunately, a severe storm caused a widespread power outage that affected the entire area—not just this property. It was an unexpected situation that was completely beyond the hosts' control. Throughout the entire ordeal, the hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative. They kept us updated, checked in on us regularly, and did everything they could to help while waiting for updates from the utility company.When it became clear that power wouldn't be restored anytime soon, we made the difficult decision to leave the following day. The hosts were extremely understanding and generously reimbursed us for the night we were unable to stay.Although our trip was cut short due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, we were so impressed by the hosts' kindness, honesty, and hospitality. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful home and would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful stay in the Poconos

My friends and I were looking for a cozy place for a relaxing girls getaway and Ruth and Robert’s place was just that and more! The house was beautiful with great attention to detail. The place was stocked with the things we needed to make meals and we even tried out the fire pit for some s’mores. The beds were comfy, and offered a great nights rest and plenty of furniture to sit and relax. Shawnee mountain is 15 mins away for some fun in the snow and a grocery store really close by so we had/ could get everything that we needed. Ruth was very attentive, checked on us throughout our stay and was very responsive if we had questions. I would stay here again and again!

Didn't use pool or restaurant onsite. Several inconveniences during our stay including front door lock that is need of being replaced, non user friendly thermostat that appeared to be locked when arrived, solar television remotes and issue with no tv last 24 hrs, tv upstairs unable to be unlocked with user block, no window coverings on main floor, including bathroom/shower.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. The homeowner would like to clarify a few things.- During your visit, the only issue that was brought to our attention was the TV in the game room. We also offered to buy you dinner as a courtesy, but we did not receive a reply to our messages.- The main floor is equipped with both blinds and curtains to ensure guests have privacy when needed. The bathroom does not have window coverings because the windows are designed in a way that prevents anyone from seeing inside.- Regarding the thermostat, the Mysa units are not locked—guests are able to adjust the temperature manually, and they are generally very user-friendly. You mentioned being hot, and we explained that the Mysas control heat only. We also confirmed that the house has air conditioning throughout.Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

A beautiful home away from home!

We planned a little getaway for my sons birthday since he loved the area. The home is gorgeous, and the hosts are even better. Upon arrival we saw they’d hung a Happy Birthday banner for my son which was so touching. He loved the detail. The house was perfect for our needs, well stocked and clean, the fact that we could use the amenities on the property was a bonus. The kids enjoyed the pool nearby. They loved the trampoline, the hammocks, the fire pit. We tried to make use of everything. We had a successful stay and impressed our son which was the point of the trip. Thank you for helping me celebrate my sons birthday. We made great memories! Will definitely use them again in the future.

A time for Family

My ex husband (kids' father) passed away 2 years ago and his family enjoys an annual get together. It is always good to see everyone and I normally will get a home for my immediate family. A total of 10 people stayed at another home but we like to be able to return to a quiet 'other home' to take a break. This 3 bedroom home is comfortable and attractive and provided us with the necessary room and quiet. The people who own or manage the property were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The place is well-equipped.
