This beach house was in a great location at OKI. It provides a short walk to the beach and is very close to shops and restaurants. The private pool was perfect and we appreciated the beach chairs and wagon.

Our family absolutely had the best time staying here. Everything was perfect just like the pictures. The host was very attentive and responded very quickly whenever we had a question. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The house was beautiful and very well equipped. The saltwater pool was enjoyed by all. There was really nice outdoor furniture around the pool and on the decks. We were literally a block and a half from a beach access, so we could walk there and not worry about parking. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Oak Island is charming and has lots of places to eat, and we were two blocks from Publix, which was very useful. We also drove to nearby Southport, which is adorable, and has an excellent new hospital emergency room if you happen to need one. All in all, we would recommend staying here!

Property was clean and in great condition and had plenty of beach and pool items. It was especially helpful they had a beach wagon too. We loved the easy walk to the beach and love Oak Island. We would definitely consider staying at this property again with our family.

Perfect spot for our two families!

The kids loved being so close to the beach and also having a pool. The layout of the house and bathrooms was perfect for two families! House was well-stocked for cooking and playing. What a fantastic vacation!!

Oak Island Retreat

We had an amazing stay at the VRBO on Oak Island! The property was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, making it a perfect retreat for our vacation. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach, where we enjoyed stunning sunsets and serene walks. Thanks for a lovely family vacation.

Perfect beach getaway

Perfect location, clean, plenty of room for a large group of adults and littles. Baby gate made all the difference to keep little ones safe upstairs. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Great family get away location

Loved the single beds in many bedrooms; older kids/teens and grandmas liked having plenty of room and their own bed to sleep in. Beautiful views from the decks. Loved the beach/pool toys.

Beautiful Home in a great location

We travel often with another family and this was by far the best property we've selected. Its a clean and open floor plan. And fit the needs of 4 adults and 5 children. Location was close to some shops as well as easy access to the beach. I would recommend and stay again.

Well-appointed Beautiful home, fabulous pool

Great house with great views. House was clean, modern, and comfortable. Convenient to have linens, towels, dogs soap, laundry soap, and other small items to get started. Lots of space for two families with children. Attentive and responsive owner.

Quiet and perfect

Despite a bit of rain, our time at Fargie’s Cove was awesome! The house had enough space and offered all the comforts of home. The location was excellent and the beaches were not crowded. All 6 people had a fun and relaxing time. Thanks for a great vacation!

This vacation home was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect fit for our large family. Just a short, easy walk to the beach made everything so convenient. The pool was a great size, and we especially enjoyed the built-in seating.The house was spotless and very well-maintained. Bryan, the property manager, was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. We’d love to rent this house again!

Beautiful getaway and great location!

We had a wonderful time on our long weekend getaway to Oak Island and this home was perfect for us! We had 4 adults and 4 kids ranging age from 9 months to 3 years and the house was set up great for our young families. There were baby gates and a pack n play, and the location was great being a block from the beach. The kids loved the pool, and there was plenty of space to hang out and watch while they swam. We also were able to get an early check in and late check out which was super helpful with the kids. We would love to stay here again, 10/10 stay!

Amazing Property!

This house was fantastic! Ocean views, beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to the beach and all the amenities. Clean house, clean pool and our group of 10 was comfortable and had an awesome vacation. One couple had to stick 2 twin beds together, but it was no big deal. Host was awesome and great communication. One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had.

Family of 9

Nothing like a tropical storm during vacation week, but great place to gather for cooking, playing games, visiting & watching the Olympics. When the weather cleared, the walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. Also, the manager, Brian, was available for whatever we needed.

Great retired teachers retreat

We had a wonderful time. We are 8 retired elementary teachers from the same WV school. We have been friends for over 30 years. Every year since we retired 13 years ago we have spent a week on Oak Island and this is definitely our favorite house. We have used this wonderful place the last two years and have already reserved for next year. The pool is great and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space. It is super clean and the beach toys and chairs are very nice and there is a variety of heights so those who need a little higher beach chair have plenty to choose from. The elevator is wonderful for those of us who don’t do the stairs as we once did. If you are looking for a spacious well maintained place to stay this is it.
