'Cabana Sol' Cabin: 4 Mi to Garner State Park

From the owner: "Glad to hear your stay was relaxing & enjoyable."

From the Owner: "Thank you so much for staying with us! We’re glad to hear you were able to enjoy some quality family time and make great memories despite the rainy weather. While the rain was a much-needed blessing for our area after years of drought, we know it can put a damper on vacation plans. We’d love to welcome you back again, hopefully with sunny skies next time!"

So glad you enjoyed your stay & visit to the area. With the recent prior days of heavy rain, the lawn was in need of maintenance in order to allow enjoyable outdoor sitting. We do apologize for the early lawn maintenance schedule. We hope ya come back soon!

We're glad the location worked out so well for your trip to Garner State Park and the Frio River, and that the lockbox check-in made your late arrival easy. Thank you for the detailed feedback. We'll be speaking with housekeeping about replacing any worn or stained linens right away and making sure dishes and utensils are properly organized in the drawers going forward. On the window AC unit, we haven't had reports of unusual noise but will have maintenance take a look to be sure everything is running as it should. We appreciate you sharing these details, as they help us keep the place in top shape for future guests.

From the owner:"We are so glad to hear that the whole family enjoyed the stay & visit to Hill Country! We look forward to having y'all again!"

Hi Iain, thank you for your review and for sharing your thoughts about your stay. The homeowner wanted to address a few of your comments:- The listing does specify that towels are not provided, and we make sure to inform guests that only a starter supply of paper goods is available, with guests needing to restock as necessary.- We have inspected the dining chairs and did not find any issues, but we will continue to monitor their condition to ensure guest safety and comfort. We appreciate your feedback and hope your stay had some enjoyable moments. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Hi Shannon, thank you for your review. The homeowner tries their best to provide a great environment for guests, and we appreciate your understanding that external factors such as extreme weather and frozen pipes are out of their control. We wanted to clarify that you were correctly refunded for the two nights you could not stay. We cannot refund fees, taxes, or extra services as these items do not go to Evolve or the homeowner, which may have caused some confusion. We always want to provide a fair resolution to make things right, and our records show you were provided a refund for the two nights. The owner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Glad your time at our cabins & your visit to the area was enjoyable! We've had some flooding in our rivers recently, we will have our maintenance check our wells water pressure for pressure put out!We look forward to hosting you again.

Shari, Thank you for mentioning the location and privacy, as well as the AC we're glad that you were comfortable. - We changed to a pull-out couch because the new one we purchased was too firm for our guests to sleep on. We will work on getting the photos updated. - The kitchen is stocked with the basics needed. We have also purchased a new blender and the microwave is in good clean condition. We also provide plenty of pots and pans to use and choose from. - We're sorry about the scorpions and stickers, but we are on an acre lot in the hill country, and we can't control those things. We do provide grass maintenance and it is kept neat and we spray to deter critters. - We have checked the shower and it is working very well. - The checkout list we have is not more than most short-term rentals, this is a standard Airbnb request. - We have mentioned the paper towels and trash bags to the cleaners and asked that they be sure they are stocked and leave extras in addition to their start-up in case more are needed. - To all potential guests, we are available for all your needs. A courtesy email is sent to all guests for kind reminders of startup necessities that will be provided. Also, a reminder to bring extras as it is difficult to know how many guests will actually be staying in Airbnb and how many paper products will be needed for the entire stay. We provide our direct numbers via email, booking websites, and text to please contact us and report if something is not working so we can get you taken care of and fix any issues you might have promptly. We can't address any issues we do not know need attention unless you let us know. We appreciate your calls, texts, or emails to alert us that you need assistance while you are in the home, so we can make your stay as enjoyable as possible, versus, not at all or after checkout. We want you to get the full 5-star experience when you are with us. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for those 5-star experiences we know we can deliver.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and are already looking forward to next year! It means a lot to know the cabin made for a memorable trip, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We take pride in keeping things clean, comfortable, and welcoming for every guest, and it's wonderful to see that reflected in your visit.
