Great spot, bed was extremely comfortable. Loved being able to walk out and instantly being by the river. Great for our paddle boards. Host was responsive and very polite. 10 out of 10 good time

The river access and outdoor area were great. We were able to check-in early and the host was easy to communicate with. For a quick weekend river trip the accommodations were fine. It could be improved by having handsoap and basic toiletries. You are not allowed to turn the air above 72 in 100 summer heat so plan to bring your own fan. Be mindful this is really a two story unit with plywood covering an open wall so it does not feel very private and you can hear everything the other renters are doing. If you have a fan or noise machine it may help with this.

Peaceful and just as decribed

Had an amazing few days. Everyone staying on property were friendly and welcoming. Clean and as described. Would definately book again.

The property was very clean and most everything worked properly. Could not get the TV in the room to work and the TV on the porch did not work, but was not there to watch TV. The neighbors in the building next door on the property were having a 'civil disturbance' Saturday evening when we returned from dinner and thought we were going to have to call 911, but things calmed down and they were all gone early Sunday morning. The river was very low and not flowing very well, but people enjoyed floating around in tubes enjoying the water. Overall, a very enjoyable holiday weekend.

While the accommodations were clean, well furnished and comfortable, we were really disappointed with the grounds which is the main reason for selecting this place. The walkway to the riverfront deck is treacherous. There were huge piles of dead branches in 3 different places in the yard. The deck area was covered with spider webs and tree branches. The outdoor dining area was dirty with patio chair cushions that have seen many, many better days. There is a gate to open to take stairs down to the river and it literally fell off its hinges when it was opened. There wasn’t anywhere to sit in the sun unless you get in the river. So disappointing! (To be clear, our stay was before the river flooding occurred.)

A little TLC

Location and communication was fantastic!!! No complaints there. However, they only give you two towels (max of two people) and you are staying two nights. I would give at least 4 towels. So, if you float or hang out at the river, you should bring your own towels. The property needs some TLC. The deck doesn’t looked like it’s been cleaned in quite some time. A little Clorox wipes wouldn’t hurt to dust off cobwebs from swing or table. Gutters are FILLED with leaves and debris; so, if it does rain, the gutters are pretty useless. Also, the room/ceiling fan hasn’t been touched in quite some time. Not sure what the cleaning fee is for if they aren’t cleaning. Maybe it needs a “deep clean”. I would bring a fan as well…but that is just me. Can’t put the A/C below 72. Lucky for me, I always travel with a fan. It does have two sets of washer and dryer’s on the premises.
