Besides the condo taking 2 hrs longer before we could check in due to cleaning. We still found food and trash around the condo. Not the end of the world they had cleaning supplies and we got it to our standards quickly. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. Great place to stay and the beaches were awesome. They had everything you could need in the condo. We would stay there again. Again we understand the check in cleaning issue was no reflection on the owner or condo and life happens.

The room was very nice and clean. Plenty of space for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). Everything worked as it should, no broken appliances (with the exception of the ice dispenser but the part was on the way for that). Several restaurants across including a small ice cream shop. All in all we loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!

Everything was great!! This condo and resort was super clean. We love dauphin island and everything it has. It’s our favorite place to come. Our trip was perfect!

Plus points: great balcony, great view and location. Spacious rooms. Very convenient parking near condo entrance. Lovely island.Some furniture pieces look very tired. Unravelling and damaged towels and dirty bed pillows (under clean pillow cases). Microwave door damaged, some kitchen utensils damaged.

Condo was in a super convenient location. Able to walk to restaurants and shops. Condo was clean and spacious. I’m used tons of stuff to enjoy the beach, pool and ping pong. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Large balcony was amazing for the best sunsets and sipping coffee in the morning.
Beautiful sunsets every night.

Spacious Condo!

Everything was great with this condo! Tons of space inside and on the balcony; everything was clean and there were even beach items available for use. Inside pool was a plus since the weather was chilly when we went! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Nice condo

Our family was very comfortable in this spacious condo. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Balcony space was very nice. Loved the pools and sauna outdoor chaises were comfortable it was very windy so laying by the pool was better than on the beach most times also the boardwalk was being replaced the week we were there so trek to the beach was very challenging with our disabled daughter

Mental Health Weekend

This was such a perfect stay—an unexpectedly relaxing and fantastic break from a hectic life. We never knew that a balcony could bring such peace and tranquility, and the view from the bed before you even leave it in the morning sunrise is breathtaking. We pray we can be fortunate enough to rent this condo again in the future.

Spectacular Get Away

This condo is amazing! It is spacious and it is very bright and sunny. We absolutely loved the huge balcony where our family could sit and watch the beach because it’s that close. Extremely comfortable on the inside and provides everything we needed to have a wonderful day. It is located near everything, including restaurants, and Fun things to do with the kids. The pool indoor and outdoor is perfect and the beach is just a short walk from the pool. The host was quick to respond! We will definitely book again.

Good lovation

Would recommend this unit. Spacious and comfortable. Lower stars on cleanliness because there was a mix up with the cleaners and we arrived to a condo that had not been cleaned from previous renters. The owner got into it quickly and cleaners came and cleaned the place. We would still rent this unit again.

Great weekend

Party of 6- myself, my husband, our 2 kids, and my parents. We had a great weekend- pool, beach, ice cream, ferry to fort Morgan, bellingrath gardens, fishing. The condo has a wonderful view of the gulf, it’s conveniently located, the pool is great, boardwalk to beach is brand new. The condo itself was very clean. The furniture and bedding could do with some updating but overall it was a great condo and we would stay there again. The kitchen had the essential utensils/ cooking tools. The washer/ dryer worked great. The bathrooms were spacious. The balcony was large and the outdoor furniture was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon wine. Thanks for a great weekend!

Run down

The bad: this unit was run down, washing machine was broken , refrigerator wasn’t cleaned properly it stank of bad fish I couldn’t put any food in it , master shower was broken , carpet was extremely dirty. Could use and update on floor and furniture. The good: was very spacious, had beach towels, toys and everything you would want for beach. Kitchen was updated. Host provided games. With a little bit of TLC this could be a great property, I would not go back to this unit under current conditions

updating needed

carpet is dirty so keep your shoes on and furniture needs replacing stained and wore out . Beach chairs are junk and last year we stayed in same unit and told them refrigator ice maker didnt dispense ice still broken . You would think they would check lights 4 bulbs in different rooms out .The grounds are good just the unit needs a major update.

Dan, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: - We were at the property and looked into your claims, we saw no issues with the carpet. It was steam cleaned on 1/6/23 and is given a good cleaning after each rental. - The furniture is the same as what is shown in the photos on the listing. We saw no stains and two of the pieces are leather. All of the furniture is in good shape and not in need of replacement. - The beach chairs were broken by a renter before you and they had already been thrown out. - The ice maker works fine, we have scheduled a repairman to come out and they have confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the dispenser. - We checked and all of the light bulbs were working and we have replacements in the utility room.We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

Great views

The view is fabulous from almost any spot, in the condo. The six of us enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is great and has everything you need. We went and got fresh shrimp and lobster and cooked a low boil. The dining table is nice and comfortable. It was nice having the laundry room, with beach chairs, toys, and tarps. The balcony was very spacious and accommodating for all of us. It would have been nice to have another chair or longer couch in the living area, so everyone could have watch a movie together. Parking is great, right outside the condo door. No long walks carrying in groceries or luggage. We took advantage of the hot tub and both swimming pools. They were clean and enjoyable. It is a bit of a hike to the beach, but it's beautiful once you're there. White powdery sand and a relaxing atmosphere. There is a gift shop, and a couple of walk-up restaurants right across the street, if you don't want to load up in the car. I recommended calling ahead for other restaurants on the Island, as a few were closed, had different hours than listed, or had a wait list. Be sure to take a drive around the Island from end to end (awesome hidden beach on the West side). We have visited Dauphin Island several times over the years, and this was our first "Condo" experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Wedding Weekend & Honeymoon

We booked our condo at The Holiday Isle a few days be4 mine and my fiancee wedding on Friday August 30th. Our condo was beautiful, big enough for my family that showed up to stay there with us. Loved the balcony over looking the beach and ocean. The fact we were on the third floor and had our own parking floor and was able next to our room was great. Having a code to get into the parking garage was just an added bonus. Indoor pool and hot tub for the late nights after being out in the sun all day was excellent for sore body or bones in hot tub then cool off in the pool. Then go up to your room and cook a nice meal in your big kitchen with plenty of dishes you need. Had plenty of towles and blankets too. I posted a video of our room on Facebook Dauphin Island Alabama page under Tracy Danielle Hill, check it out. The only thing that disappointed me was the jetted tub in the master bedroom was broke and apparently has been for a while after reading some comments. Now it seems to me that they would get this problem fixed and soon because this is a top seller for the room. I know that that was a seller for me when looking at the room and to fi d out it didn't work kinda pissed me off. So get it fixed be4 my next trip back to the room because i will like to be back to this room again But all in all it is a great room at Holiday Isles #307

The thing that sets properties apart from 4 to 5 stars, for me, is the little things and while this property has a lot of good things, it did have one or two downsides. I’ll start with the positives: well stocked kitchen, size and layout are great, big dining table, huge balcony, condo amenities like pool and beach access were awesome. As for the not so great…When we arrived at 4:30, the cleaning crew was still there and we were surprised by the woman, although she was friendly. For the size, there was not nearly enough toilet paper or dishwasher or laundry soap - especially considering we were there for 4 days and were required to start loads for both at checkout. Some of the furniture is a bit outdated (including deck) / stained although the beds are very comfortable. Overall, condo was very good deal and we had an enjoyable time!

Very nice condo.

Wonderful Kitchen, wonderful outdoor area with wonderful view. Very clean. Appreciated the gated community, felt safe and secure. Definetly would stay here again.
