Fredericksburg is widely regarded as one of the top ten winery destinations in the world, and there is no better vantage point for exploring all of them than while staying at the completely private cottages of Der Fels!

The Franciscan is the original luxury cottage in the heart of wine country and is close to the famous Wildseed Farms, and wineries such as Messina Hof, Mendelbaum, and Grape Creek. It’s even close to Luckenbach!

Being a newly constructed limestone cottage with all the comforts of home, this charming cottage offers everything today's traveler wants, in a private setting. Enjoy the private hot tub to yourselves in a fully fenced courtyard. Or, step back inside to enjoy the large whirlpool tub or rain-head shower in the bath! Additionally, the Franciscan cottage is outfitted with a king-size bed dressed in beautiful linens, and a spacious sitting area to set the mood! Pet fees & rules:
We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.
-Pet fee(s) will apply in addition to the nightly rate.
-This unit will allow one pet that is 20 lbs or under.
-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them.
-A separate pet waiver must be signed.
-Any and all damages or issues caused by your pet to a unit or furnishing will be immediately charged to your credit card on file.
