Den 3297 kvadratmeter store etageplan giver plads og privatliv for besøgende, mens det blødt oplyste poolområde skaber en vidunderlig atmosfære til underholdning og afslapning.

Nyd at slappe af på en af altanerne ud for hvert værelse eller boblebadet med udsigt over havet på tredje sal udendørs! Hvis du har brug for en endnu mere betagende udsigt, skal du følge spiraltrappen til 4. observationsdæk på 4. sal! Udsigten er ud over spektakulær.

Derefter kan du tage en afslappet tur til den perfekt præparerede Sombrero Beach, mindre end en kilometer væk. Dette elegante hjem har masser af parkeringspladser til båd- og jetski trailere og en dyb vandskanal, der giver adgang til Sombrero Beach og Atlanterhavet med et øjeblik. Både bugten og havet er tilgængelige med flere bådramper i nærheden.


Hvis du foretrækker et langsommere tempo, skal du tage kajakkerne på ejendommen og udforske mangrover og kanaler.

Den direkte adgang til havet er perfekt til fiskeri, dykning, snorkling og ture til sandstangen. Det er også det bedste sted for aftenbådture eller besøge en af vores mange restauranter, hvor du kan lægge til kaj og spise.

Marathon er det ideelle sted til en Keys-ferie. Beliggende direkte midt i Florida Keys ser intet ud til at være for langt væk. Tilbring en aften i Key West på at besøge de lokale haunts eller se solnedgangen på Mallory Square. Halvvejs ned, stop for en runde minigolf ved Boondocks, eller gå modsat retning mod Key Largo og besøg John Pennecamp State Park, der ligger kun 45 minutter væk. PLR2011- 00408.

The property was perfect for our family of six adults and two children. We enjoyed the spacious house, pool, hot tub and found the kitchen well equipped with dinnerware and cooking utensils.

Great location

Property is a very short kayak away from Sombrero beach and surrounding areas. We caught several fish off the dock. It was a great place for a group of 7!

Great vacation by the sea.

We had a wonderful time at this location. The house was clean and very accommodating. The pool and hot tub were great and the view from the balconies were outstanding. The bedrooms were large and the family room ( with a pool table) was a great area for entertaining. It also had a large porch area off the family room on the second floor that was a great place to relax It is close to the beach and public shopping area. If you are looking for a nice place to vacation I would definitely recommend this house.

Fantastic family time

We stayed for Christmas and had a fantastic time with family. The weather was a little un cooperative but that is just living in Florida. Overall house was gorgeous, and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful! Highly recommend this property for others.

Great week

Had a great week at the house. Perfect location for Marathon and all the amenities for anything you’d like to do. Only downside is the layout is not ultimately that kid friendly. If we go back to marathon I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Marathon !

Our week vacation in this home was truly wonderful. The owner is responsible and available at all times for any questions or concerns. The home is lovely and location is fabulous. We could not have asked for better weather or accomodations. If this home is available, do not heistate to book your vacation here,,,,you will not be disappointed.

Great Holiday Stay in the Keys

Elias is a great host. Very personable and easy to talk with. The house is was perfect for our two family’s with people having their own bathrooms and loads of space. The house is very quiet at night and the pool area is wonderful to relax at. We rented a boat and docked it at the house for the week. No issues with access or water levels just ran slow coming and going. We would stay here again!!

Unique Island Hideaway

We spent a week at this property celebrating our son's birthday. The owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the property was as depicted. We were able to keep our 28' boat at the dock behind the property. However, the driveway is difficult to maneuver with a truck and trailer

Read House met all my expectations

Overall a very very nice property to rent. The owner was always available and friendly. The house came with a really nice supply of toiletries and towels. I would recommend this house anybody who wants to stay in Marathon in. Lastly, he did not have an abundance of rules to follow.

Great house and location

We had a family vacation at this house and everyone had a great time. The house had everything we needed to be able to enjoy our vacation. The 3 kayaks were a lot of fun. We took them to Sombrero Beach and around Tingler island. The location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and activities. Highly recommend this house for a family vacation. FYI - This house does have a lot of stairs.

Beautiful location.

House is in need of repairs. Kayak's are not in any shape to use. Canal is weedy and dirty do not able to snorkel. Views are excellent though.

Review of house on Tingler Rd.

The owner is very easy and quick to respond. The house is clean and quite large and very private. Views of sunrise and sunset are wonderful. The age of the house does show somewhat but does not take away from having an enjoyable week. They pool is fairly large and the grandkids loved it. My husband and I used the hot tub and it was quite nice. The kitchen was stocked with all needed appliance and the laundry room was very much appreciated. If we decide to do another trip to Marathon we would stay in this house again.

Perfect Family Vacation

I am so glad that we booked this property for our Spring family vacation! The house is gorgeous & very spacious- perfect for a large family or couples. Every room of this home was very clean, well kept and stocked with essentials. The location alone provides an array of fun-filled vacation options: we rented a boat and kept it right at the dock, paddled the kayaks around the canal and walked to Sombreo Beach. The pool is refreshing after a day on the boat or beach (we had it heated & temp was great). The views are spectacular from each balcony and observation deck. We also enjoyed the pool table with a family competition. Elias is very responsive and cares about his guests. I would highly recommend Elias & Marie's rental properties & we will be staying again.

Perfect location

We were a family of 10, six adults and four kids (ages 14-9). The house was very clean and the owner was there when we arrived. The owners checked with us via text to insure that everything was fine. Pool and hot tub were well maintained as was the landscaping. We rented a 24 foot boat for the week and had no issues even at low tide with the water depth at the dock. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances worked. AC unit kept the house comfortable in every room. The only negative thing are the no-see-umms…but you’re in the Keys and there’s no getting away from them😏 We’d definitely rent again!

Wonderful Christmas Stay

What an amazing time we had staying in Marathon at this home. The home was just as advertised. It was beautiful and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in the home was in great working order. The pool was beautiful and well taken care of. We opted to have the pool heated and it was the best part of the trip for our children. The dock was in great shape, and we enjoyed spending time there, even though we chose not to rent a boat. The views from the top deck were unmatched and the home is literally a 2-minute drive to Sombrero Beach which was absolutely great. The homeowner was wonderful. He was in contact regularly to make things were going well and he was very attentive and prompt to any little issue we had. This place is a dream, and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great get away in the Florida Keys! We will definitely be back!

Tingler Island Delight

Spacious multi-level home, with 4 large bedrooms, each with it’s own en suite, and one of which is a mother-in-law efficiency. The kitchen was well equipped for the nights we cooked dinner. There is also a grill downstairs by the pool. The home is surrounded by mature landscaping giving the property a lush, tropical feel. The hermit crabs, land crabs and iguana’s, made for fun nature watching walks around the island. The draw of coming to the Key’s for us is to fish, lobster, boat and relax. The jacuzzi and pool were nice to relax in at night, after a long day of boating. We had fun playing on the pool table on a rainy day. The canal behind the house is shallow at low tide, which Elias told us about before we arrived. He advised us to bring the 26ft boat, versus the 36ft boat, which was much appreciated. In addition, the driveway can be tricky backing in a trailer because it is framed with large rocks. Please note the home does have lots of stairs and no elevator. Stairs were fine for us, but may present an issue for people with limited mobility. The rooftop deck provides a beautiful bird’s-eye view at sunrise, and sunset. It is also perfect for star gazing. The home is not new, but suited our needs. We had a wonderful family vacation, and I would recommend this home to other travelers. Elias and his wife Marie are a phone call away should you need anything.

Where is the Toilet Paper

I must say the location of the house is perfect, close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and the 7 mile bridge. The house is definetly not displayed on line as we found it. The house is very worn and dated with many of the amenities descrided not working. The exterior is way overdue for a paint job and I was kind of embarrased to stay there since the neighbors properties were well maintained. The furnitiure is very worn and mismatched like it came from a second hand store and the linens do not even fit the beds. The beds ALL were awful and the linens were worn and did not fit, I could not wait to return home to get a good night sleep. The pool itself was great, clean, heated and in good shape. There were no pool maintance tools such as a brush or a skimmer net. The pool area had some old worn out plastic furniture with no umbrellas so make sure you load up on the sun screen. The hot tub worked but leaked and make sure you put the cinder blocks on the broken cover so it does not blow off. There was a grill by the pool with no tank and so rusted I would not take a chance cooking on it. The grill on the upper balcony did work but worn and very dirty. The house had no simple staples such as paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, dish washer soap, hand soap, garbage bags and TOILET PAPER. I did speak to the owner after we arrived since he called and asked how the cleaners did. I told him we were disappointed that the house did not meet our expectatations and his response was its a rental. Marathon is a great area with lots of outdoor activities and beaches. There are other rentals in the area I recommend you explore them.

Toilet paper??? Are you serious?? Well let me address every point you raised in this review. Let me start by the positive; you described the house location as perfect, close to beaches, restaurants, shopping and the 7 mile bridge. That’s correct, location is perfect in addition of being on a small private island of only 10 houses very secluded and totally private , very close to Sombrero beach, we actually kayak from the house to Sombrero beach within minutes. The amazing view from the top observation platform is unique, you see the entire ocean unobstructed. You described the POOL as great, CLEAN, heated and in good shape. You are correct, the pool was just resurfaced very recently, new pool heater and an outstanding reputable pool maintenance crew that service the pool regularly every week but will return at any time to address any issues that concern our guests. You don’t need any pool maintenance tools because that’s not your responsibility neither do we want guests get involved with any maintenance, if you had any concerns which you didn’t, you simply could have notified me, the owner... All my guests have my personal cellphone # as well as my wife with 24/7 direct access for any issues. TOILET PAPER: I truly thought initially that was a bad joke. EACH of the bathrooms have a new roll installed and a spare one that should suffice plenty for a week stay, so I’m not sure where this is coming from since you NEVER complained to me about ANY of your negative remarks whatsoever, you even asked for extra beach chairs and we provided you 5 more even though that’s not something we have to provide. BEDS AND LINENS: we have new top of the line mattresses in both king rooms and queen room, we spent $6K on those 3 mattresses and I have the receipt to prove it. Our bed sheets are replaced with new ones very frequently as soon as they show any sign of getting worn, we have never had in almost 10 years of renting any guest complain of any issue about beds or linens. My wife personally supervise the cleaning staff during turnover every Saturday and I know how OCD my wife is about bed sheets and cleanliness in general. It’s true my wife couldn’t be there the day of your arrival because she was sick, but our cleaning crew are regulars, they know what our standards are and we trust them. BARBECUE GRILL: on the upstairs balcony is being cleaned regularly every week by the staff, nobody has ever complained but you, it works as you mentioned, that’s all it's supposed to do.

Marathon vacation

We loved our stay. The property was perfect for our needs. The hosts were delightful and very responsive to our questions.

Wonderfull Vacation

We have been spending February in the keys for many years now. I have to say this was one of our very best experiences. The house was impeccably clean., well furnished and equipped. The location is great. Sombrero Beach is a walkable distance away (about .5miles) and the grocery shopping is a short drive. The view from the roof deck was spectacular and my 5 year granddaughter and I would go up there at night to count the stars. We paid to heat the pool and it was extremely comfortable (90-95F). I already miss my Keys sauna i.e., going from the 100F hot tub into the 95F pool. Elias is very responsive to any request or issue and if he doesn't answer immediately calls back in 10 minutes or less. To summarize: good house, great location and fantastic owner. We will definitely rent this property again!
