We had a wonderful weekend at Sunset Ranch! Family from Virginia, Arizona and Washington all visited for my daughter’s wedding in Bowie, TX. There was plenty of room for everybody, the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Also, the beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a big family group. Lots of entertainment for the kids and adults-a trampoline, playground, air hockey, foosball, multiple games, basketball hoop. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The basket of goodies was welcome, and I think we ate everything. Couch in the main house should probably be replaced. Lots of springs sticking up. We walked the acreage and the adults were able to do target practice. We were not able to get the clay shooter to work appropriately

What a fun place to celebrate a couple of 80th birthdays with our extended family! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, sit and eat. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor areas, especially the pool and the skeet shooting. Communication with the property managers was fantastic, starting from the day we booked. It was a great long weekend for our group!

“Perfect Oasis”

I don’t even know where to start with the sunset ranch! I’ve rented many homes on air bnb and this one was by far my favorite! This was my family’s fourth year to vacation together, we parked our cars and never left! The kitchen was packed with everything we needed, the beds were very comfy, water pressure was great, the property was beautiful and we loved it! Thank you for having us.

Perfect family time

We had the most magical Thanksgiving at Sunset Ranch! Our family enjoyed every aspect of the property. Our "littles" loved the bunk room and all of the adults had plenty of space. All of the extras amenities, hot tub, game room, basketball hoop, corn hole, trampoline, and the wide open space were a welcome change from our busy lives. Sitting on the wrap around porch and watching the sunrise and sunset was exactly what our souls needed. Thank you Sunset Ranch for a memorable Thanksgiving, we will be back!

After the stay

Everything was wonderful. It allowed both sides of the wedding parties to enjoy time with each other. The house was fabulous.The bunk house was used one night for the groomsmen and the bride used the guest house for her bridesmaids.After the wedding we took a day to unwind and enjoyed both families.

Sunset Ranch

Absolutely beautiful property and home! Very spacious, well appointed. There was plenty to do, game room, pool, hot tub, fire pit, lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery. Skeet shooting. We all just loved our time and plan to return again! Although we were all adults, this location would be ideal for families with children.

Fantastic Getaway

Wonderful property with plenty of peace and open space. Everything was clean and updated. The pool and hot tub were a hit for the entire week, as was the basketball goal in the driveway. Slept and fed 16 people (adults and children) comfortably. We were very pleased with our stay and I absolutely would recommend it to people looking to temporarily escape from busy lives.

Fantastic country property

We brought the entire family (16 people) and spent a week by the pool, playing basketball, and just enjoying the property. The house was great and met all our needs. Bowie is close enough for groceries, and it’s an easy hour drive into Fort Worth, but we only left the house once. It was more fun just to stay put. Definitely recommend to any large group looking to unplug and relax.

Septic Problems

We had a fairly large party of 14 people and from mid afternoon on Saturday until early Sunday afternoon the septic system was backed up. It is obviously a known issue as there are signs posted at every restroom that you are not even supposed to flush toilet paper, but when called to talk to the manager they said it had never been an issue and then the next morning the property owner called me to tell me how to take the cap off of the septic clean out and spill sewage all over the yard so that the showers could be used by the guests that needed to catch flights that day

Beautiful, enjoyable property!

This ranch is absolutely amazing. The layout was perfect for our family and all the activities were delightful. It met everyone's needs including those of our puppy. The pool and hot tub are kept well maintained. The game room has great fantastic equipment. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is a quiet place for rest and relaxation. Kudos on the wifi connectivity in the country. My college-aged son still had online class this week and had no issues with attending his class. This was a major plus. This property had the best communication of any property I have ever rented for our family's vacations. On our second day there, I saw that my van had nails in two of the tires. I was searching online for a place to take it and quite concerned that the tires would blow trying to make it to Bowie. I asked the property manager for help trying to find a mobile place to patch the tires. They came through and provided me with the recommendation. The tires were easily fixed with no disruption to our stay. I cannot thank the property owners enough. Our family hopes to return to this fantastic vacation spot in the future!

Amazing Family Christmas Getaway

We recently stayed at Sunset Ranch to celebrate our family Christmas. It was an amazing experience. The team had excellent communication with us before, during, and after our stay. Rebekah and MaLynn kept us informed with helpful information through text before and during our stay. They even asked about ages of the kids and created a gift basket for them upon our arrival. The kids really loved this. There were snack baskets and waters in both houses as well. Below freezing temperatures just before our stay caused the pipes to freeze at the ranch. However, they discovered the issue before our arrival and worked diligently to unfreeze and get the water working properly again. The plumbers Collin and Damion worked into the evening but did not leave until we had running water in all the bathrooms/kitchens. Ethan communicated with us that evening and during our stay. He even brought us pizza for our "inconvenience" of the pipes. We typically go to Beaver's Bend to rent a cabin for our family get togethers, but we wanted to stay closer to home this year. We are truly glad we found Sunset Ranch. It was perfect for our 6 teenage children with many activities to keep them busy including clay shooting, target shooting, game room, basketball goal, exploring the land, hot tub, firepit, trampoline, movies in bunkroom. Although the pond was currently empty, there is an option of fishing when the pond is full. There is also a pool for summer. The morning we left there were 13 deer in the field near and behind the ranch. We also enjoyed beautiful sunsets. We all agreed that this has been our favorite place because there were activities to keep everyone busy and entertained. It was nice having a peaceful setting with lots of land. Everyone said they would like to rent this again in the summer to enjoy other activities and be able to enjoy the outdoors more when the weather is warmer. Thank you for opening this home for our family Christmas celebration.

Wonderful home and property

We had an amazing time Sunset Ranch. Even with the cold, rainy weather we enjoyed the covered patios, hot tub and spending time together! Would love to come back again!

Such a great find!

We stayed at Sunset Ranch with 4 families. What a gem it was! There were sweet gifts for the kids, and legos/games/pool toys for them to enjoy. There was never a moment of boredom. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds slept great. The WIFI was also an added bonus :) I would highly recommend a stay at Sunset Ranch.

A Dwelling and Place

I was looking for a place to do a retreat with my music band and work in the pre-production of our new music album. Sunset Ranch was the perfect place. Not only beautiful but very peaceful place. My Family and Music band really enjoyed the facilities and We were impressed by the layout of the house and how clean everything was. Definitely we will for sure booked this Ranch again!

Best staycation at this Beautiful farmhouse

We stayed at this property with a couple of friends families. The kids had a blast especially the pool, play area, game room and bunk beds. Each family had their own bedroom and a lot of space to work and play games. The sunsets were stunning and we are looking forward to staying again may be for longer duration next time

Milestone Birthday Weekend with our whole family

There was plenty of room for all 14 of us in the spacious cabin and guest quarters. The kids loved the bunk room and each couple had a bedroom with private bath. We swam, soaked in the hot tub, played games and did some skeet shooting out on the property. The big kitchen had room for us all and we enjoyed cooking together - possibly brought too much food?! Glad we found this beautiful place and we’re hoping to come back 🤠

Something for Everyone

We stayed here for our family reunion. There is something for everyone; toddlers on the playground, teens with the pool slide and grandparents watching it all from inside. Best of all, we didn’t have to drive anywhere or coordinate the fun. They have tons of indoor and outdoor activities and enough land for couples to take romantic walks. Secluded and can’t see any neighbors. Definitely coming back! Did I mention the complementary snack basket!?! Yah, . . . they thought of everything.
