My family and I enjoyed our two night stay. The home was stocked with plenty of things. It was clean and comfy.
I did reach out to the owner the night of our arrival as it was in the mid 80's and the window AC units were not installed as advertised. The weather cooled down the following day but heat rises. The ceiling fans helped but we would have preferred to have had AC access as it was advertised, at least on the first warm night. The owner responded promptly and even offered to come install the following day. They mentioned that we were a few weeks shy of when they usually install them for the warmer months. It wasn't a deal breaker but we managed. I appreciate the owners prompt responses.
The neighborhood, is VERY crammed. I did get a sense of this on a Google Street view search but it doesn't represent the packed environment. There were vehicles parked on most large sidewalks. Not in front of homes but side streets. The area might be intimidating to some. Everyone we saw was friendly and there were lots of kids baseball games going on down the street at the fields. I had to park a few blocks away most of the time. It wasn't an ideal location I'd normally let my kids run around.
The fees were fair to reasonable. They were more manageable than comparable options.
Overall...fair prices, very clean home, easy to access the home, fully stocked, good communications with homeowner, not too far away from downtown Philly.
