Lake Placid get away

Our experience was lovely. The view from the outside patio was worth the stay. The condo grounds had a beautiful garden and beach a short walk from our unit. Being only a short drive from the town of Lake Placid was a plus.

The host was quick with communication and the condo itself was very nice. Perfect for our needs traveling with two teenagers. We were 2 minutes from the store, 7 mins to town and 25 minutes Whiteface. Just what we needed for a long ski weekend. Thanks Chris!

Comfy, clean and close to attractions

Immaculately clean and very comfortable condo for a ski weekend. Had everything we needed and communication with the rental group was super easy and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Location

Spacious, comfortable condo in a terrific location on beautiful grounds.Close to our favorite kayaking spots, great restaurants and ice cream choices.The bed was comfortable in the main bedroom. There was lots of space to really unpack & the kitchen had everything you needed. Owner was very responsive when we called.We would definitely rent again!

Great place

The apartment was just as shown on the pictures. It had all we needed for our stay. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were very convenient. It's right by the Lake Placid. The views are amazing! Really enjoyed the place.

I was traveling with an infant. If I wasn’t I wouldn’t have cared about the extra dirt, dust and mess on the floor & under some furniture, however my child just starting to walk and still crawling at times, puts her on the floor more than typical.Most windows don’t work. This is huge as there is no AC and god forbid an emergency/fire happens, no second form of egress.There was a fire alarm panel in the vestibule that kept going off as well. A constant high pitch tone.The seat on the toilet in the master bath was falling off. The toilet itself needs to be tightened to the floor. The jacuzzi platform was broken and falling in on itself as well.With a little TLC it would have been a much nicer stay.The property outside was wonderful, there was a beautiful garden walk, nice grassy areas for my child to stumble around. The beach isn’t very sandy but was quiet.Email isn’t a recommended form of communication. I still have 2 unanswered emails to the local contact.I don’t say this to deter anyone from staying just hopefully keeping the host accountable to fix issues.I was refunded 57 for my inconvenience

Beautiful setting on Lake Placid

The location was ideal, right on the lakefront to swim and kayak, and also for exploring all the interesting sites of Lake Placid. We appreciated the beautiful and quiet property. This lower level condo was quite dark, but also had direct access to the lakefront. Some of the windows and screens did not work properly. The hosts were very responsive to our questions.

Wonderful location with a Beautiful Setting

The property is located in a quiet beautiful community. The property is a bit dated, and needs updated. We did not receive any check-in instructions, so I called the property management company, who never answered. You will need to communicate with them only through text. Even after they initially gave us the instructions on the morning of arrival, once we arrived at the property, they didn't give us the full address. There are unit numbers, so be sure to get the correct unit number prior to arrival. Some of the windows and the back door are not properly working, which makes a difference because there is no AC so you will be using them to regulate the temperature. The location is very nice. You can walk to the water through a beautiful garden. There is also a hiking path trail head very close. There are a lot of extra amenities to this condo community that I am unclear if we had access too. I am not sure if the tennis courts and golf course, as well as the kayaking, sailing etc. It would be helpful to know what access we have prior to booking, it would be a great selling point.

This property has great views and good location for travelers in lake placid area. But the property is not really suitable for vs as many people it claims to accommodate.bunk bed is dangerously high. The sofa bed in the living room requires quite a bit of manuaveting and even then it was not properly set. I will be sharing about some fixing and improvements with the owner. If those things are fixed up then this property can be of much better value. The issue may be the lapses of the evolve team that is managing the property. They have system generated responses.

Where do i begin? We drove around for an hour looking for the place. No building marked 339. Lots of buildings with units but no unit number on the listing. No answer from the contact number. Asked anyone we passed. Went to nearby lodge to research the name of management that sent AI instructions. Finally got a live person to look up the unit number and we tried several buildings that had a unit 20. We are three sisters in our 70s who chose this unit because it showed a ground floor patio. However there is a long staircase down to entrance. The unit is impossible for short people. Had to drag in a dining chair to climb to high master bed. And the bedside lamps were below the bed so unable to read in bed. Could not reach anything in top shelves of kitchen, no stool. Two set of closet doors were unattached. In the master bedroom closet one side opened, the other side fell on top of me. No tea pot to make tea or boil water for the coffee press we brought cause we read there was only Keurig. The sheets for the sofa bed were non-existent. No bath mat for the shower. I could go on. It was disappointing for us.

Perfect ADK Location

We were in town for my mother in laws funeral and know the area very well . This was our first time not staying at our family camp and couldn’t have asked for a better experience . We received a great welcome packet from Chris and he was very responsive our whole visit . The bed linens and pillows were as nice as any 5 star hotel we have stayed in . We did cook one dinner and breakfast in the condo . All the supplies we could want were included. The property was superb including the beautiful wedding gardens , docks, a lakefront . The fact it was almost peak color change was just an added bonus. We will definitely stay at this property again .

Everything about the condo was great including communicating with Chris . The beds, linens, and pillows were 5 star hotel . We had zero complaints. The property of Whiteface Club is beautiful. We really enjoyed walking the gardens and trails. We will definitely be visiting again .
