This property was amazing! Even better than the pictures. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. And the views of the ocean and beach were breathtaking. Beds were so comfy. But just as important were the rental company. Christina was the best. She answered all my annoying questions and helped plan some of the best parts of our trip. Cannot say enough about this place and the people. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location

The condominium was exactly as presented. The layout was great for several couples and the view was spectacular. The location was convenient for all of our activities and dining.

Stunning Ocean views

Immaculate condo with every possible utensil and toy you could want for a Maui vacation. Great whale watching from the large deck entertained us for hours.

Perfect Villa

Great place to stay and central to many outings. The Villa was well equipped and more. Private beach which was never crowded. Would stay here again. 3rd floor is a little challenging with no elevator but you’ll get your exercise.

Perfect 4 us

I've been going 2 Maui since late '70's. We became Grand Wailea members 20 years ago, but as the rates go up, we've been priced out, as we now try 2 bring extended family members & grandkids, which we did this last time. This place was further South than expected but we loved finding this treasure. We'll be back hopefully soon!

Father of the Bride

I never write reviews. But the team at Makena Surf was truly outstanding. We’re usually pretty easy guests, but we were in Maui for our daughter’s wedding, and we found ourselves pretty needy. The Makena team bent over backwards to make our stay exceptional and helped us deal with some last minute stresses that ended up being “non-events” thanks to their flexibility, hospitality, and responsiveness.

Location, Views, Heaven!

We had an awesome time here - we have stayed at Makena Surf before and the view from this condo was unreal. Overlooking the ocean, sunset and beach. Close proximity to the pool, beach, garbages..... it was awesome! Beds were super comfy - it was VERY well stocked full of kitchen stuff, extra towels, beach stuff etc. Only issue we had was the bedroom doors were VERY loud opening and closing which since we had littles was a bit annoying..... they could easily be shaved down for a nicer experience. Sounds nitpicky but honeslty everything was awesome!

Fabulous oceanfront condo in a lovely area of Wailea-Makena. It is supplied with everything you ever thought you would need, and more. The snorkeling off the beach is great! We saw lots of sea turtles. They supplied two sets of snorkels and fins. You can sit on the deck all day and just watch the waves. Our family loved it!

Best Vacation/family reunion condo!

This condo is well appointed and elegant, has the most beautiful views, comfortable beds and furniture, kind and helpful staff. I could not imagine a better place to gather with my adult children and their partners. The only caution I can think of is that there are a lot of stairs between the parking spaces and the entrance to the condo. Although hubby and I are not in the best shape, we still had no trouble climbing or descending the stairs. We all highly recommend this as a great place to vacation!

View View View

Breathtaking view, steps from the beach, and wonderfully appointed unit with plenty of room for a family. We loved our stay at Sunny Surf. We had our two daughters, son in law, and young granddaughter. We loved that we could be at the beach which was not crowded and was very swimmable without loading up our car and driving. The pool was also steps away and was never busy. The Lanai's were large and had plenty of furniture, dining seating and a grill. We spent mornings and evenings enjoying the mesmerizing view. The master bedroom had access to both Lanais, and had a wonderful walk in shower. The property is quiet and away from the busy touristy areas, but close enough to enjoy dining, shopping and activities.

Makena Surf

Makena Surf E301 is a great three-bedroom unit. It has a full ocean front view with large lanai on two sides. The unit is well furnished and well appointed, even beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and Beach toys for the grandkids. A lovely beach at the property and minutes to McCanna beach, big beach or the Wailea area. Finally PPV and Tracy gave great concierge service for check in and throughout our stay!

Makena Surf

this was by far the best location and accommodations I have ever booked in my entire life (65). I will definitely try to replicate this trip again as the condo and McKenna Surf was one of the best trips EVER!!!

Perfect in every way. 2 pools that were never crowded with beautiful landscaping. Beautiful uncrowned beach with great boogie boarding and snorkeling. Well stocked kitchen and great restaurants close by.

THE BEST HomeAway experience Ever!!!!
