- NOTE: The home is at the top of a hill, the driveway is steep but more than accessible with a regular vehicle. 4-wheel drive is not necessary. The driveway is narrow but will accommodate up to 3 vehicles easily. It's much easier to back out and drive to the bottom of the hill to turn around.
- NOTE: Since the property is on a steep hill, it may not be suitable for small pets or small children. A split rail fence runs the entire outside edge of the property
- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera on the front door facing the driveway. The camera is outward facing and does not look into any interior spaces. The camera records video and sound when motion is detected by the device

Peaceful and convenient; everything you need and more. Such an incredible location, quietly tucked away on a hillside but only a few minutes from downtown. The house itself is new, cozy, and offers everything you need. The hot tub and fireplace were warm welcomes after long days hiking. Would absolutely stay here again.

The listing is not accurate. When I booked a non refunded stay based on price I was then charged a higher pet fee than listed on the description. I messaged the team and was told it was being update with the new price and that I would have to pay it despite the price listed in the description.

Cute Space, Decent location

We stayed at this location in May 2025. It's a cute space and overall a decent location for driving or Ubering into the city and driving out to the mountains. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make quick meals and we enjoyed the hottub and relative seclusion.

Great Spot for Our Anniversary Trip!

This was our first time staying at a private home rental, and it completely exceeded our expectations! The home was clean, comfortable, and low-maintenance—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was fantastic, and everything we needed was either provided or just a short drive away. We brought our puppy along and were pleasantly surprised to see thoughtful touches, such as dog bowls and even laundry detergent, already available (we had brought our own just in case, being first-timers, but it was great to know the hosts had thought of everything). We would recommend this rental and would not hesitate to return in the future!

Pros: Everything was in working order, and decor was cute and comfy. Host was responsive and helpful. Pictures in listing were an accurate depiction of property. It was very nice to be outside and see almost no other homes, just trees! Porch furniture was comfy. Cons: There was a lot of pet hair on floors and furniture from previous occupants. Laundry doors didn’t open enough to easily access dryer, and dryer door would not open fully. We had to ask for extra hand towels and wash cloths, and then there weren’t really enough extra wash cloths available. The heating and cooling system and ceiling fans needed instructions, and extra batteries for all the remotes.

Cute house! Wooded area. Loved the dual patio doors to the hot tub/backyard space from each bedroom. Close enough to everything & yet relaxing calm location to relax & chill with my sister!

Comfortable & clean, good location, excellent service & communication

The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet and private, tucked in a hollow, with easy to access to UNCA and Asheville.The house was well equipped with linens, towels, laundry and basic kitchen supplies. We enjoyed the backyard hot tub and fire pit in the evenings.The guest contact was very helpful and available to answer questions throughout our stay.

Asheville fall getaway

We had a very relaxing fall family vacation. House is very close to Asheville. We had nice nights using the hot tub and fire pit. House very clean and bathrooms, kitchen, and appliances uptodate. House clean and well maintained.

Spring break in Asheville

Property was as pictured! Driveway is very narrow. Kitchen is well appointed and all necessities are there. Would definitely recommend!

Mountain Vacation

We visited the area for a family vacation. The property is located in a decent area. Steep driveway, which was noted in the listing and we got used to it. The home was well stocked with most of the amenities you would from cooking in the kitchen ti laundry and bathroom. The rooms were nice and clean and the hot tub was the best way to relax at the end of a long day. Didn’t use the fire pit but that was also a nice feature to have. Overall fantastic stay!

Great rental- well-appointed

Clearly built and decorated as a rental and is a great place to stay. All very comfortable and all amenities available. We were able to cook full meals with everything we needed on hand. We appreciated the basics being available- olive oil, basic seasonings, condiments, extra toilet paper etc. Great stay for up to 4 people- more than that would be tight. The area directly around the house isn’t very scenic but it was quiet and private and just 10-15 minutes to various parts of Asheville. Heed the information about the driveway and parking - It’s accurately described.

Beautiful, secluded stay

My husband and I (plus our two dogs) stayed here for a few days between Christmas and New Year's. We loved the cabin. It was beautiful, modern, and clean. The hot tub was an absolute highlight- we loved soaking in there at night and looking up at the stars. The home was fully equipped with everything we could need. The bottles of water and snacks were a welcome surprise! A couple of things to note- the fenced in back yard is not actually fully fenced. If you bring a dog, please know that they could escape the fence. The way it is built has wide gaps that they can crawl under (see the pictures- it is hard to describe with words). There is also no closure between the back yard and front yard. Our dogs were fine since they are well trained, but other dogs may need to stay leashed while in the yard. Additionally, the floors are concrete. I highly recommend bringing slippers. Otherwise, your feet might get cold/hurt after walking on it. Overall, I highly recommend this property. We loved it. It is quiet, cozy and the hot tub was a dream!

Quick Long Weekend Getaway

Property and house were both beautiful! We had rain every day so we couldn’t utilize the bon fire pit or the hot tub but everything was set up and ready including hot tub towels and plenty of fire wood. Also, both rooms have back yard access from the room. Amenities: We booked this for my Wife and I and our 4 month old and met our friends from Tennessee and they had their 8 month old. Everything you could need was there already including a high chair! Also very comfy Tempur-Pedic type beds! Distances: The drive to downtown Asheville was approximately 10-15 minutes depending on the lights. Biltmore was about 20 minutes I believe but I would much rather stay here than somewhere downtown. There was a Whole Foods about 10 minutes away where did our shopping before settling in and anything you would need to cook with is clean and ready to use. ONLY cons: The road leading to the house is EXTREMELY dark so take it slow on your way back in after the sun goes down. The only other thing would be the driveway is steep and very narrow but myself and the other couple both have big trucks so maneuvering was tight but still very possible. If we had a van or a standard SUV it would have been no problem. Conclusion: Perfect for a long weekend or a long vacation. The host was very helpful and we would absolutely recommend this for new families or just a couples getaway. We would absolutely stay here again. Beautiful Home

This home is beautiful, new, clean, well-stocked, and nicely decorated. The beds are really comfortable. The neighborhood is not well-maintained and the home is built into a steep hill near the road, but once you are inside the house you don’t notice any of that. Great location, only minutes away from downtown. It does take some time to heat the house, as the floors are concrete and the heaters are installed high near the ceilings. Next time we visit Asheville we will likely return here.
