Villa Verona is a charming cottage about 200 yards east of Highway One. It had a complete kitchen, a spotless bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub, state-of-the art TV and very fast wifi. Quiet and peaceful place, on a large lot, very private. A great escape for us from the valley heat, and a short drive or walk to beach access. We're already planning our return. Thank you, Kathleen.

We're so glad Villa Verona gave you the peaceful escape you were looking for. It's wonderful to hear the kitchen, bathroom, and fast WiFi all added to a comfortable stay, and that the quiet, private setting near the beach access made it feel like a true retreat from the valley heat. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback, it truly means a lot to us.

Thank you for the review Marcella. I am glad you appreciated the amenities. I really want people to have what they need, especially in the kitchen! The deer do like to sit and hang out in the yard. They jump the fence since there are no dogs around. It is special to have an encounter.maybe you will come again and have another encounter!

Very nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Some family members were camping at nearby MacKerricher State Beach, and the proximity of this property made it easy to enjoy time around the campfire and then return to the house for a warm bed and shower. Good communication with the owner. Highly recommend this property.

The host was great, good communications, prompt, and nice when we happened to meet in person at their store in town. The property is clean, furnished nicely and had all the necessary kitchen and bath needs covered. Good Wi-Fi, quiet, and a good location (across the street from MacKerricher State Park). We will definitely try to stay here next time we come to Ft Bragg.

Perfect Getaway

Great location just north of downtown Fort Bragg. This two bedroom cottage is a two minute drive to the beach. The yard is fenced in so my kids could play outside in a secure area. The house was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Great food in Fort Bragg, and you are minutes away from numerous beaches and other adventures.

Best decorated and most comfortable rental

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well done and well stocked. The bathtub and shower were good quality. I think the owner must have lived here. It has the feel of a home, not a rental and is up-kept well. The owner texted us the day of our arrival and kept in touch with us. She also owns Cucino Verona in Ft. Bragg and the Mercado bakery and we tried both, which were great, and got to meet her.

It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. Thank you for trying our restaurant as well.

Adequate furnishings. Large dirt yard. No toiletries except for liquid hand soap and a bar of Irish Spring soap. No access to washer/dryer. Minimal number of towels (due to "conserving water"). Clean rooms.

We’re glad to hear you found the rooms clean and the furnishings adequate. After reading your comments, the homeowner would like to provide additional context:- Due to drought conditions along the coast this summer, we're unable to water the lawn, which has affected the yard's appearance.- We stock plenty of towels in the bathrooms, with additional towels stored in the cedar chest in the main bedroom for guest use.- While we don’t list toiletries as being provided, we’re always just a call or text away and happy to supply anything you might need during your stay.We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience.
