Hi Theresa, we want all our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: -We use a professional pest control company to ensure that the home is cleaned, sanitized, and bug-free regularly and we sincerely apologize for the pests you experience. Unfortunately, we cannot eliminate all bugs that arrive each year but we do our best. Unfortunately in the south guests may encounter an occasional bug which is inevitable despite our diligent efforts -The rusted bolts around the front door are used for hurricanes and natural disasters that may occur. The bolts come out approximately half an inch, and cannot be removed. These particular bolts have to be used when hurricane shutters are installed, we're sorry if this was an issue for you and you felt uncomfortable -While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry for the confusion with the storage space. Some closets and cabinets are the 'owner's property' and are locked and used as storage. We have sufficient clothes storage, both bedrooms also have closets and entire empty dressers for clothes storage -The safety of our guests will always be our highest priority. The rack may appear low but it is within code and has passed the inspection for safety. While we've never experienced safety issues, we are sorry to hear about this unforeseen circumstance. This is the first time a guest has provided this kind of feedback about this, but we will raise it to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded The owners have worked hard to prepare the home for guests, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
