The house was perfect for our family. The only thing we suggest is to have a 2nd refrigerator in the garage. The refrigerator in the house is a side by side and for how many this house holds you could use another refrigerator.

GREAT LOCATION! You can walk to town easily and Lake Michigan was one house away, so sunsets were a daily staple. The playground was one block over and the kids (5 children-4yrs old and younger) loved it!

Annual girls getaway

The property was just perfect for our girls getaway. The space was clean and open and inviting. We had everything that we needed. The quality of this home and the furnishings was better than most that we have stayed in. We really appreciated feeling like we were staying in someone’s home versus a cheap rental.

Simply Wonderful!

The house is immaculate with an amazing location near the beach and to downtown South Haven. Everything in the house is brand new and super comfortable. The front porch is wonderful. Views of the lake and beautiful gardens are great. Would definately stay there again. Owner is very kind and responsive.

Beautiful property and excellent location!

This house was amazing! Clean, updated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a vacation with young children and friends. There was plenty of space for a large group and beautiful lake views from many of the rooms. We were so thankful for the bikes, beach stuff, and wagon! We go to South Haven every summer with a small group of friends and this was the best year yet because of this amazing place!

Perfect location

This was a perfect location!! The house was immaculate. Upgraded mattresses in the bunk rooms would be more comfortable. And the bunks squeaked a lot. But otherwise; the bedrooms and bathrooms were great as well.

Perfect location

My family enjoyed our stay in the home, which was spacious and had a wonderful location. Our family loves the beach, which was a few steps away, and the gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed the farmer’s market and the bikes which were available to us. All in all it was a wonderful stay. My only comment for improvement would be to sweep the two porches and clear them and the outside fixtures of cobwebs, etc.

This Cozy beach bungalow was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of space for private sleeping (7 adults) , plenty of space for common gathering for games and movies. You can see views of the lake. The beach is just a short walk away. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The house was spotless! This is a lovely area for a family vacation with lots of options for activities. We were all adults, but it would be perfect accommodations for large families with kids as well. I would love to return! Our hosts communicated well.

Location, location, location!

Such a wonderful property. Less than a 5-minute walk to Lake Michigan; beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys available. My grandkids were in heaven! The house was clean and so spacious. Ashley was easy to get in touch with and got right back to us when a smoke detector started a low battery alert. This was our 6th year at South Haven and the best rental thus far. We’ll be back.

This is our 5th summer vacation staying in South Haven with our whole family. We have stayed in more expensive places and less expensive places, but this is by far our favorite. The location is EXCELLENT. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for a week away from home. There were bikes, sand chairs, wagon, beach toys, floaties, umbrella, in the garage. The power went out and our upstairs air conditioner did not come back on. Within 1/2 hour of our call, it was restored. We will return here again forsure.

Great property

This home was perfect for our stay. Excellent proximity to beaches and the downtown area. The front porch was wonderful in the mornings and evenings! Beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and towels were left by previous guests even though the listing says they do not provide them. The listing does not specify the coffee situation, but it takes grounds or kcups. There was also shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in the showers even though the listing also says they do not provide toiletries.

Perfection in South Haven!

Decided at the last minute to do a family get-away for New Year's 2025. The Cozy Bungalow on Clinton Street was absolutely perfect! It was newly remodeled with plenty of space for our group of 9 adults and 1 child. We could all be together in the comfy living room gathered around the TV or the kitchen table playing games. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking with plenty of pots, pans and accessories. The location was incredible, with views of Lake Michigan from the front porch and upstairs bedrooms and a quick walk to beach access and a short stroll to town. Check in was easy and communication simple when I had to change something on the reservation. The whole family agreed we need to return for a summer visit! Made so many memories and cannot wait to return!

Clean, comfortable house in excellent location

All aspects of our stay were smooth, easy and comfortable. House was welcoming, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The entire experience would have been exceptional had it not been for the unfortunate coincidence of multiple construction, excavation, and tree removal projects happening in the immediate vicinity of the house that made it impossible to be in the house at all during the days we were there. Property manager was sympathetic given the fact that there wasn’t anything she could do about the bad luck. She did graciously offer us a small discount on the stay and we would happily stay again - after first inquiring about ongoing remodels in the neighborhood!

Great beach house even when its snowing

Property was top notch. We were there for a family event in January. The house is less than a block from beach and just a few blocks from downtown city center. There were some minor communication issues with property manager. We were told we could park in garage which was ideal since it was snowing. Unfortunately the owners golf cart was left in the middle of the garage and the manager did not have a key. Also we asked them to come and turn up the hot water heater on the second floor because showering was uncomfortably cool. Water was warm but definitely not hot. We did not receive a reply until after we checked out. Its the off season so I understand that there may be staffing issues, etc. but that level of communication would knock a couple of stars off review if it was high season. Property itself was fantastic!
