The Retreat #20 is an immaculate ground-floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo offering sweeping ocean views and modern amenities, just steps from Rum Point.
This inviting vacation home combines comfort and convenience, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable Cayman getaway, located about a 45–50 minute scenic drive from Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM), depending on traffic.
Guests enjoy easy access to the beach, water activities, and the many attractions that make Rum Point one of Grand Cayman’s most beloved destinations.

LIVING AREA & ENTERTAINMENT
Freshly remodelled in January 2023, this ground-floor retreat offers a modern and inviting atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen boasts granite countertops for effortless meal prep, while the open-plan layout includes contemporary furnishings and three HD TVs with cable. High-speed wireless internet ensures you stay connected throughout your island escape.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
The condo comfortably sleeps up to six guests.
• Primary Bedroom:: Featuring a master bedroom with a brand-new King bed, en-suite bathroom, and direct access to a screened lanai with ocean views.
• Second Bedroom: The guest bedroom also offers two full size (double) beds.
• Additional Sleeping: A Queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides extra flexibility for families or groups.
A child bundle—including a Pack n' Play, high chair, and baby potty—is available on request, and a personal safe is provided for added peace of mind.

Perfectly positioned just steps from the heart of Rum Point, The Retreat offers effortless access to local dining, activities, and beachfront fun. Guests can unwind along over 1,000 feet of soft, white sandy beach or dive into some of the island’s best snorkelling spots—just a short swim from shore.
On-site amenities include a refreshing pool and a tennis court, making it easy to relax or stay active during your stay.

• Just steps from Rum Point Beach and the newly opened Rum Point Restaurant & Wreck Bar (Dec 2023)
• Red Sail Sports on-site for watersports, paddleboards, kayaks, and Hobie Cats

• 10 minutes to Cayman Crystal Caves and 15 minutes to Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens

Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 15 minutes from the condo.
TRANSPORTATION
• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.
• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.
• Due to limited public transportation in Cayman Kai, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

• One free reserved parking space is provided.

Don was great at communicating every step of the way. Condo was clean, organized with just about anything you could possibly need during your stay. Included a nice welcome basket for our anniversary which was awesome. Overall we had a lovely time and being 100 feet from Rum point and your own private little beach was such a great perk. We loved our stay.

The unit is clean and well stocked with cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, and linens. The unit provides easy, direct access to the beach and the property, directly from the screened in back patio area. Ground floor eliminates the need to haul groceries or luggage up flights of stairs. We definitely recommending staying here

Amazing place to stay!
My family and i stayed at the property. Extremely clean, comfortable, and safe place. Couldnt be more happy with our stay. Just outside the back door is a fantastic beach that never had more than 6-7 people on it. A few days we were the only people on the beach. We had a great experience and can’t wait to go back!

Great week in Rum Point
This was our third stay at Rum Point, and our second stay at the Retreat. We were welcomed with a yummy gift basket of wine and snacks. King bed was super comfortable, lounge chairs on patio were perfect for coffee and a book, kitchen well-stocked, and plenty of room for our family of 4 to relax on the comfy couches. Also appreciated having a nice supply of snorkel gear. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous views and clean accomodations
My sister and I took our first vacation together ever and neither of us had been to the Cayman Islands. The condo we stayed in was very clean, functional and well-decorated. The view of the beach from the primary suite was indescribable! We spent a lot of time on the beach there and enjoyed the sunsets. The welcome gift basket from the owner was an extremely nice touch as well! If we visit the Caymans again we will definitely consider staying here again!

Peaceful Week on our favorite island
We had a lovely week relaxing at Rum Point. We have stayed on this end of the island/complex before so we knew what to expect. The Condo was nice and the direct walk out to the beach made coming/going easy. Luckily the complex was not very busy our week and enjoyed just a handful of people on the beach. Only real negative were the matresses. We enjoyed snorkeling out front and leaving for boat trips with a quick drive to Kiabo. Overall, nice stay and would return!

Perfect location for relaxation
We had an amazing 11 day stay here, we have stayed in the Rum Point area 12 times now so there were no surprises on how beautiful the area is for the beach, swimming and snorkelling. Really spacious and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated the gift basket that was left for us. We actually brought and left a new frying pan there too so the next guests can enjoy.Couches were comfy and 2.5 washrooms that is a plus. What can't be beat is the location, the beach at The Retreat is perfect to head on out to see the turtles and stingrays.It is a great ground floor unit and we plan to be back!

Excellent condo, property & location
Overall we were very happy with this condo, property and location and would absolutely stay here again. We were a family of 4, kids aged 5 and 11. The condo was very spacious and very nicely decorated. The on site beach was perfect for our kids to play at and for sunsets everyday. The kids also enjoyed walking down the dock at rum point next door, and we appreciated being able to take sting ray city trips from the same dock. We also did scuba diving trips from the east end which was an easy drive from the condo. We specifically wanted a quieter area compared to the seven mile beach area and this gave us that but also options to dine out at rum point or kaibo if we wanted too.

We loved the property but it was very far away from the beautiful 7 mile beach. The beach at the property had lots of seaweed which was very disappointing. So we did not go to the beach there. Instead we drive to starfish point about 5 mins drive and seven mile beach about a 55 min drive.
