The Updated Kitchen has all you need for a quick bite before exploring Assateague National Seashore, with cookware and dishes, 2 burner stove top, mini refrigerator AND a full size refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and eating area.
You’ll love relaxing on the Community Pier with gorgeous Views, or try your hand at Crabbing and Fishing! You can also end each precious day with a dip in the seasonal Outdoor Pool, or grill some cheeseburgers in paradise in the Picnic Area complete with Charcoal Grills.
Tucked just off of Maddox Boulevard - aka the Beach Road - you can take a short stroll or bike ride to Mini Golf, Dining, and of course, Assateague National Seashore! This property was very nice and no hassle. Even though it was after Labor Day by a week or two, their pool was still open, which I appreciated. I only had a three night stay and liked that there was food I was interested in that I could walk to. It’s a relatively small island if you’ve never been, so nothing is too far away if the food within walking distance isn’t for you.

It was easy to get into the property. Plenty of parking. The entry road is also the bike path, just be aware. Clean and updated space. Very good size for one or two people. Pool was lovely!

Parking was convenient. There are some steps and as far as I saw there is no elevator. No oven, but that is indicated in the listing.

Very nice property. My GPS had a small issue getting to the exact location. No other issues with the property.

We liked the view from our room - onto a little creek instead of a parking lot! Our grandson enjoyed exploring the dock. Stay here if you can manage without staff present. Pretty easy.

I Love Chincoteague

This was a great home-base as we trekked around Assateague and Chincoteague on our honeymoon. Very convenient to the Virginia side entrance to Assateague and the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and simple dinners. I was pleased to see the kitchen had everything you could need for basic cooking & there were a variety of drink glasses for both beer & wine!

Nice little place
It was a nice little place for one or two people to stay. Very clean. Communication with owner/ realty was good, Would stay there again.

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay. Convenient to the seashore and local restaurants and activities. Would prefer a larger bed but the mattress wasn’t bad. Nice amenities in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location!
Great location and walking distance to many restaurants. Also just a short drive to Assateague National Seashore. Pool was very dated and worn which was not visible in listing photos.

Very nice stay.
Although the place was small, it was nice and clean.As noted in other reviews, finding the location was a bit difficult since we were a late arrival and it truly is not marked very well.Did not see any staff in the lobby when we arrived, but the cleaning stuff was very pleasant.

Great Place, Great Price!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very clean, close to everything yet off in a natural setting very quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed, ice machine and just really enjoyed our stay. Air/fan wouldn’t turn on and they came very quickly and fixed. Would definitely stay here again, perfect mom and daughter trip!

Another Great Stay in Chincoteague!
I have been staying at the Assateague Inn in Chincoteague for the last 7 Years! It is an annual Fall trip that I look forward to every year. This years visit did not disappoint. The apartment was exceptionally clean, modern, and had all of the comforts of home. The bed was very comfortable, and there was even a Wine Cooler!

Getaway
We had a wonderful stay. Our condo was right in the middle of everything so it was easy to get to where we wanted to go. It was very clean. Warm nice people. We intend to go back next year Lord willing with other family members. If you want a relaxing getaway you can't beat the price and the comfort!

Enjoyed our stay
The only thing that was a problem was trying to find how to get to the parking lot. GPS puts you in the Village Restaurant parking lot and it’s fenced and not connected for vehicle traffic. Luckily there was someone in the Inns parking lot that guided us on how to get there.
Maybe the directions should be included in the check in instructions

Our "Honeymoon" trip to the Eastern Shore
Had a wonderful time. Sorry to say I lost my watch there and could never find it, plus I left some Kerug coffee pot parts on the kitchen counter so had to purchase a new pot when I arrived home. Only issue- was another visitor with a child that "jumped" and "bumped" half the night.The maid was the best! Buy-to add-the mattress was way past replacement.

Overall a nice apartment, although it needs a new bed. Mattress was not good.
