The home was beautiful! We stayed with our whole family, pets included and it was a wonderful week. There was so much to do between the game room, pool, and kayak. I would highly recommend and would stay here again for sure!

Great property. Conveniently located and well kept. Plenty to do on site so you don’t have to leave unless you want to. But everything is within a 5-10 minute ride if you need to go anywhere. Definitely no seasonings or extras kept on site but that’s also clearly communicated ahead of time. Worth bringing some extras to avoid buying full size items on your trip. Highly recommend this place though. Communication with the hosts was extremely easy and they were very responsive and even let us check in early. Honestly couldn’t ask for more!

A beautiful home right on the canal—perfect for bringing the boat! Our family truly enjoyed getting together here. The house was comfortable, relaxing, and the games brought us right back to the ’80s, which was such a fun touch. We made some great memories during our stay. Highly recommend this home, and we will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house rental! The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool was amazing and quickly became everyone’s favorite spot. The kids especially loved being able to fish and had so much fun every day. It was the perfect place for our family getaway, and we would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the stay. The host company was wonderful. Communicated regularly and responded timely to questions. House was perfect for my group, especially since we had a boat. House had plenty of bedrooms. Spacious and clean. Well stocked. Could have used a few more trash bags. If you are going to cook, Be sure to bring essentials- condiments, spices, oil. I would absolutely stay again.

Incredible Vacation on AMI with everything we needed

We had a wonderful time staying at "Playing Hooky" - it had plenty of space for our large extended family and everything we needed to get the most out of trip to AMI. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, launching our paddle boards from the canal to the bay, and playing in the game room. We saw dolphin and manatees right from the pool deck!

Great Spring Break

We had a wonderful time, the house worked beautifully for the 3 generations of our family. We were able to walk almost everywhere except the grocery store. The beach, shopping, and restaurants were very convenient. Our grandkids loved playing in the pool while the adults enjoyed the sunshine.

We had a great time! Property was exactly as advertised! Great location.

Great rental! Property management was great, we had one issue with the spa and they were right out to get everything working! Home was just as advertised! Had all the extras, no need to bring beach towels, chairs or beach stuff, they had everything we could need! Game room was a plus with a house full of teens! We were very please with our stay!

Family Fun

We had a great time staying in this beautiful house! The open floor plan for the kitchen and family room was wonderful! We loved relaxing in the pool on the hot days of August. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes and glasses. The outside ice machine for all our drinks and beach toys were great too! Thank you for a wonderful vacation at your beach house!

House was advertised having an elevator when in fact it did not. I am disabled and was not able to climb stairs. So I was unable to join the family at the beach or pool, much less join them fishing.

513 Loquat - Playing Hooky

The house was amazing, it was clean and well appointed. Guest services was very accommodating and communicative. My only complaint was those darn alarms on the back doors - not all of the bypass buttons on the sliding doors worked when coming IN to the house. Also, the bathroom toiletry sets did not include lotion or liquid body wash when we arrived. I noticed that when we asked for a clean set of sheets to be dropped off, you included a bag with fresh toiletries, which did have the liquid body wash and lotion.

Tranquility on the canal❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful family home. The place was so comfortable and the kitchen was wonderful. The backyard was an island oasis! The pool was warm for the little ones and the adults who love to walk right in! The location was perfect on a quiet block and convenient for walking everywhere. They are building a home next door but the workers were quiet and respectful. We couldn’t even hear or see them when out at the pool. The staff responded promptly to a few items we inquired about. The towels were fresh and the home had everything we needed but we would probably buy a few more board and card games for the place. We are grateful for our family time at playing hooky and we look forward to returning to AMI!

Not worth what we paid

To start w the positives, great location, nice quiet street, close to everything. When we first arrived we were setting off alarms left and right. Wasn’t told about the alarms. If you leave the door open for more than 10 seconds an alarm goes off. Takes a couple days to figure out. I specifically sent a message prior to stay. I wanted to make sure there was very clean bedding. In my room the bedding was not clean. Stains on the pillowcases. My kids claimed they smelled body scent in their bed. The floors were so dirty my kids feet were black and socks full of dog hair. Forgot to mention the piles of dog waste by the steps where you walk in to house up the stairs. The kitchen appliances had finger marks all over them. I called and they had a cleaning crew come out to take care of. The cleaning crew told me they couldn’t believe how dirty it was. The counters were greasy and shmeary. No swim toys noodles or anything for beach. We had to buy our own. We left them there for next family. Anything we saw was locked up in garage. We had no access. Also the game room on first level has no inside access to house. God forbid if it’s raining. You have to go outside to get back in. For what I paid for this rental, none of this should have happened. Also fyi the deck and area around pool will burn your feet. Wear flip flops. They offered cleaning fee back. They should have offered much more hence the bad (but honest) review. Will never use this co again.
