Solfyldt 4-BR Home, midt Dunes, strand, ved vandet og spektakulære solnedgange

Vi faldt i kærlighed med denne indgang, dette kvarter, denne strand, disse klitter, og dette hjem første gang vi besøgte i 2011. Vi har netop afsluttet en renovering maj 2014. Vores hus er lyst og rummeligt, med en flot udsigt - tidløse, rolige og urolige - af klitter, strand og vand. House sidder midt i klitterne, med 300-ft privat tur til afsondret strand. Vi deler et roligt godt naboskab langs en blok-lang asfalteret gade. Et minut væk er Goldsmiths park, en kystnære indløb perfekt til slanger og vade. Huset indeholder fuldt udstyret køkken, 4 soveværelser (sover 6-8 i senge plus et par mere på sovesofa & / eller luftmadrasser), 3 badeværelser. Meget stor opholdsstue og rolig 2. sal soveværelse med højt til loftet og panoramaudsigt, 180-graders udsigt over klitter, strand og vand. To soveværelser har 1 full-size seng; et soveværelse har 2 fuld størrelse senge; og soveværelse har en queen-size seng. Udendørs, vil du nyde en rummelig dæk, udendørs gitter, udendørs bruser og privat sti til afsondret strand. Fuld færdig kælder indeholder stort legerum, bordtennis, elliptiske øvelse maskine, vaskemaskine / tørretumbler. Kabel, trådløs, telefon og stereoanlæg. Loft fans og store briser hele vejen igennem. We've stayed in a dozen beach properties the last several years. This was by far the best all around experience - comfort, community, convenience, cleanliness, communication. We really enjoyed our 2-week visit. We were only 3 people, but the house easily accommodates many more. Not one negative thing to say - fantastic.

This beach house exceeded every expectation and made for the perfect family getaway! The home was spacious enough to comfortably fit our whole family and guests, and it truly had everything we could possibly want on hand — kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys for the kids, and a great selection of games for cozy indoor evenings. The location was unbeatable, sitting right on the beach in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood with absolutely stunning views, especially during sunset. There's nothing quite like winding down each evening watching the colors light up the sky right from the property.Beyond the house itself, the location made it easy to enjoy everything the North Fork has to offer. We were just a short drive from incredible wineries, fresh seafood, and charming fruit and vegetable stands full of local produce. Whether we were relaxing on the beach, exploring the area, or just enjoying the amenities at the house, every part of our stay felt effortless and special. We can't recommend this property enough and are already looking forward to booking again!

Absolutely stunning location!

This is the perfect spot on the North Fork! Private road lined with beach houses. Beautiful views with even better sunsets. Easy walk down to the beach that is fantastic for shell and seaglass hunting. We took the provided kayaks around the jetty to the back of the inlet which was gorgeous.Close access to Greenport, Orient Point, vineyards and brewery. Great place for couples or a family!

Idyllic spot near Goldsmith Inlet!

Great location, views and plenty of space! You can't beat the location, with easy access to the beach. We loved being so close to Goldsmith Inlet. Basement was a great space for the kids to play and relax. Spacious deck, amazing sunsets. Plenty of recreation opportunities, with kayaks and bikes on-site for our use. Michael is a great host, super helpful and responsive.

Idyllic

Just spent the last 3 weeks of August 2022 here 2 adults and 2 kids ages 6 and 2. In 3 year summers renting on the NoFo we've yet to find a place to rent a second time but this house is it, we will return. The house is great for families with lots of space to hang out, relax and play inside and on the porch or on the nearly empty beach right outside. You can't ask for much more. Sunsets are corny af but it really is a highlight worth mentioning. Also notable is that this stretch of beach is pretty sandy compared to others on he Sound. House and grounds were super clean, hosts responded very quickly to every message, cabinets were fully stocked all the way down to zip lock bags and paper towels. Can't make a stronger recommendation.

Beautiful, comfortable, best sunsets anywhere!

A perfect North Fork getaway with friends. The house was just as advertised; a warm and welcoming coastal home with an comfortable, eclectic vibe. Right on the beach and positioned to see the wildest sunsets you can imagine. Easy access to all the North Fork goodies - wineries, farms, good restaurants and excellent seafood. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing North Fork Getaway

This beautiful house set in an idyllic setting is everything you would want and expect in a summer beach house. The house is perfectly laid out for multiple guests, with a grand porch overlooking the water, 2 large dining tables (one inside and one outside) ample common space to chill, read, do yoga, whatever...The property is steps away from the water and a beautiful beach, 7 minutes to the nearest local farm stand and a 10 minute drive to Southhold. The master bedroom and office upstairs are truly breathtaking, with sweeping views of the beach, dunes and sea. The house is also outfitted with everything you could want; sea kayaks, outdoor grill, bicycles, all manner of cooking/kitchen supplies and much more. This house was truly a find.

Great house, wonderful stay

We rented Michael and Jimena's house for a two week extended family vacation and we could not have been happier. The house is gorgeous and has everything you might need. Tons of space for everyone, inside and out. And all the beach toys you could want. The beach is beautiful and quiet and the sunsets are incredible. The north fork is a wonderful, low-key area, with a ton of activities for all ages. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic weekend by the sea

We had a wonderful winter weekend by the sea with a group of friends in this spacious, welcoming home. We had enough space to be together when we wanted to - both at the long dining table, and in the gorgeous front room, surrounded by windows on three sides with vistas of the water. That main room was also great to do yoga in, and it fit us all easily. We also had spaces to retreat to when any of us wanted some quiet time. The home is beautifully furnished and equipped without being too precious - warm, inviting, eminently livable. Outside, a boardwalk path over the dunes leads to a long expanse of quiet beach, perfect for walks of any length. The place was in great shape when we arrived, and the detailed instructions really do help you navigate the various systems in the house. Michael & Jimena were gracious and communicative hosts, responding promptly to all emails and texts. We'd return again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful house in stunning location

This is a wonderful house with every possible amenity for a large family or group. The property is beachfront, with easy access to a safe and shallow creek for kids to play in and explore. The area is really nice, lowkey but still with some excellent restaurants (North Fork Table the best of them), wineries, delis and every other amenity. We were a family of 6 with 4 kids under 10 and the house and location were ideal. The games room is a big plus for a young family and likewise the comprehensive selection of kayaks, both two person and three. The best thing of all must be the panoramic views of the Sound at the rear of the house, including 180 degrees from the master bedroom and attached office. And that sunset has to be seen to be believed. Highly recommended and Michael was incredibly helpful and responsive from start to finish.

Incredible family bonding time, kids, crabs, kayaks, group dinners!

We had a wonderful two weeks -- our second year staying here. Terrific swimming, shady biking and marine bio discovery time for the kids, great big family dinners and fun ping pong competitions for the adults! Also loved Greenport -- the carousel, restaurants and shops, Love Lane's great selection of eateries, local farm stands (some are organic), berry picking and Briermere pies! To the owners and their very attentive property management team, thanks again for sharing your home during the high season, we had a fantastic time!

Dream Beach House on Stunning North Fork Beach

Dream beach house! What a spacious and beautifully renovated home! We were blown away by the panoramic beach views, and the location directly on what seemed like a very private beach. The house is so spacious, with enough rooms to fit a large family or group, plus a long dining table for group dinners. The living room with daybed overlooking the ocean and dunes was one of our favorite spots in the house -- the upstairs with forever views was truly spectacular. The gorgeous deck with a large dining table overlooking the beach were a fantastic place to have our morning coffee and breakfast. There is also a rec room with ping pong and games -- plenty to do both indoors and out. Goldsmith's Inlet is just adjacent to the house, and is probably one of the nicest beaches on the whole North Fork, wonderful for swimming, or for phenomenal sunsets. The area is very quiet and peaceful, a true getaway. Michael was the most gracious host -- he answered all our questions promptly, was so pleasant to deal with, and left a large book of instructions and information on activities in the area. We absolutely loved our stay here, would wholeheartedly recommend it, and can't wait to return.

Beautiful Beach House Perfect for a Getaway

What a magnificent house! This place is spacious, calming, and lovingly designed with panoramic, breathtaking views of the dunes and the beach. The house has several beds to host numerous guests, and the living room, dining room, basement, and deck offer plenty of spaces to relax and hang out with friends and/or family. We used this house for a professional retreat, and everyone noted how at home they felt right away. The house is big, but it always feels warm and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet, the atmosphere calming, so it was very easy for us to focus on our work. The house was incredibly clean, and the instructions for entering, using, and leaving the house were crystal clear and covered everything, from towels to oven use to trash disposal. The WiFi worked great, and restaurants and amenities in Peconic and Greenport are only a short drive away. I would highly recommend this house for anyone who wants a Long Island getaway!

Beautiful House, Peaceful Setting

We had an amazing experience for our first visit to the North Fork! Michael couldn't have been more accommodating and was quick to respond to all emails and questions. When we pulled up to the property with our two young children we were stunned at how wonderful the views were from the house. There is a short path directly from the house to the beach, and there is a such sense of serenity as you cross over the dunes towards the ocean. A nearby inlet next to the house also kept our kids busy observing the local wildlife! Evenings were perfect for a cookout on the porch and THE SUNSETS WERE AMAZING. The house is designed beautifully as well, the sunlight pours into the living area and bedrooms, it is such a great feeling to be wake up to such great views. Our family really enjoyed the basement as well, the ping pong table was a hit. Michael, the owner, made the check in process effortless and is a great communicator. We really hope to visit again, thank you so much! Highly recommend this property!

Absolutely perfect beach home

We really couldn't love this place more. The house is beautiful, spacious and impeccably appointed. Gorgeous, panoramic views of the water and dunes, and steps to the water on a private path to the beach. The location is secluded and peaceful, but just 10 minutes drive away from towns with great restaurants, wineries and things to do. Michael and Jimena are wonderful, generous hosts who provide tons of information about the home and surrounding area. Great for spending time with family, a big group of friends or colleagues. Really spectacular!

Breathtaking!

I rented this house with several of my friends for a Girl's Weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The pictures, though beautiful, don't even do it justice! The house is situated right on the water with spectacular 180 degree views. The deck out back is outfitted with a large table, several chaise lounges and makes for a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The house itself is pristine and uniquely decorated - in every corner there is something fun to look at - modern, beachy, and full of character! The kitchen is fully stocked, there is plenty of room in addition to the bedspace listed, the finished basement has exercise equipment, a ping-pong table, and air mattresses! The house is very close to several wineries and a hop and a skip to Greenport. The owners were a pleasure to work with - all instructions for entry and check-in and out procedures were clear and easy! I'd highly recommend this property and want to go back!

So very charming!

What a gorgeous house! We came with a bachelorette crew for a weekend of wine-tasting and hanging out, and we weren't at all disappointed. We had a chef come cook for us on Saturday night, and the kitchen was so well-equipped she had everything she needed to make a feast. The owners were super nice and accommodating. I wish I could have stayed forever.

Beautiful house; incredible views and beach access

A group of seven of us comfortably spend three magical days here in mid-May. The house is lovely, artfully decorated and outfitted to meet every need. We cooked each night and found everything that we required in the kitchen and then some. The best part is the views and beach access- the living room is a huge open area (attached to a massive deck and backyard area with hammock, picnic and grilling accoutrement) that are right on the beach. Incredible views of the water from the master bedroom as well as the living room, and steps to a huge stretch of gorgeous beach. The house was everything we wanted and more.

Stunning, serene escape on the water

This house was impeccable-- a beautiful and newly redone interior that perfectly featured the gorgeous landscape with its massive windows. So much light! It was the perfect place to getaway to. Quiet and serene, it felt wonderfully secluded, but still with easy driving access (5-10 min) to the local town. I was there for a staff retreat with 6 people and it accommodated all of us more than comfortably-- a wonderful space for large groups and/or families. So lovely, I wanted to stay much, much longer! Plus, we noticed on the drive out how many great orchards, pumpkin patches, and vineyards there are so close by. It would be a wonderful place to fall festivities, especially with children. Enjoy!

Beautiful, relaxing retreat on the beach

What an idyllic house - the pictures hardly do it justice! We visited Michael's home for a small staff retreat and were overwhelmed by the natural beauty outside and the tranquility within. The house fit our group of seven with room to spare. It's a great, private location with breathtaking views, and the gorgeous reclaimed wood decor makes it feel like a home. You are in the heart of wine country, steps from the beach and a short drive from local activities (thoughtfully listed for guests), but something tells me you'll want to spend plenty of time in this house as well. Michael and Jimena are wonderful and responsive. I recommend this home and hope I'll have a chance to return!

Beautiful, serene, immediately relaxing

A truly wonderful place! I flew in from the West Coast to join three friends for a reunion. Just two hours from JFK, I felt like I had entered a different world. The house has dramatic views from almost every room. I loved how the main living room takes in a 270 degree vista and made us feel as if we were outside even when we were inside. The recent renovation applied earthy and cozy materials with first rate carpentry to create a special retreat. It's rare to find a beach house as solidly built as this one. In warm, late summer weather, we enjoyed leisurely dinners on the deck that lingered till midnight under the moon. Even though I knew there was stuff to see in town and in adjoining villages, I was completely content staying in this tranquil environment. I only wish I had the time for a full week's visit, instead of our planned 3 days. The listing description is spot on. Great owners, too, who told us everything we need to know. You will love this place!
