Enjoy effortless Cape Cod living from this adorable single-floor home, perfectly located just moments from the Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard ferries, Main Street Hyannis, and nearby beaches. With a thoughtful layout, private backyard space, and walkable access to dining, shopping, and entertainment, this home is ideal for a relaxed and convenient getaway.

Inside, the open living space brings everyone together, combining the family room, dining area, and kitchen into one welcoming area—perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. Down the hall, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, along with a full bathroom featuring a tub. A sleeper sofa in the living area provides additional sleeping flexibility.

Step outside to enjoy the cute, shaded backyard sitting area, a peaceful spot to unwind after a day exploring the Cape. About 100 yards away, a walking loop and open area offer easy outdoor fun, while Main Street Hyannis—just a few blocks away—features a wide variety of restaurants, shops, galleries, and entertainment. Veterans Park, its beautiful beach, and scenic Hyannis Harbor are all approximately one mile from the home.

The place was clean and cute, and the location was amazing. One thing that I don't think I realized was that there wouldn't be any towels provided, so I think that needs to be a bit clearer in the instructions. There also wasn't any laundry onsite which with a child and the trips to the beach was a bit hard. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed with 2 adults, 2 young-ish kids. House was cute and comfortable, kitchen had all the essentials (mostly), good water pressure in shower, beds were comfy (although one twin was basically wrapped in plastic as its "mattress pad" so I would bring a real mattress pad if you're an adult), window AC units worked well, they had some games to play. FYI the fireplace is only decorative and ice maker in fridge doesn't work so bring a bag of ice. Outside was totally unusable - I wouldn't go in yard without shoes, no clothes lines or anything to hang beach towels and swim suits on to dry, a "no fires" sign was up, outdoor furniture covered in moss and mildew and unusable, no grill. Neighborhood is meh but was short 8 mins to Craigsville Beach and we were only using the place to sleep and shower so didn't care about neighborhood. There is NOT a playground 300 ft away - it's an open park with a few swings, not a playground. Would stay here again as it worked well for our family at $1200 for 4 nights in August.

Due to liability reasons, our rental agreements state that fires are not permitted on rental properties. This house is not advertised as having a grill or an ice maker. We love your feedback regarding a clothesline and will share this idea with the homeowner! We will have the caretaker clean up the outdoor furniture, as it often gets dirty after being outside all summer. Golf Getaway

The scale of the house was perfect for three adults on a golf getaway. Close to downtown restaurants and harbor. Upgraded finishes made it feel more comfortable than your typical cottage on the Cape.

Clean and quiet

Easy to get to. Berkshire Gave us the door code early which was nice. Regrettably the cleaners got there the same time we did 30 minutes before checkin. But it was no big deal we hung out in the backyard. Which was spacious for my dog and very convenient having 90% of it fenced in. The house was very clean. My only complaint would be the cookware was very old and pans were unusable. I had to go buy new pans to cook breakfast every morning. The house is within walking distance to Main Street. We ubered a couple of times for about 10 dollar. The house is in an ok neighborhood setting. During our stay everything was quiet and we had no challenges with neighbors. There was a little Park 200 yards from the house which was convenient to take our dog. When we Departed, we left our dogs harness and Leash there. Berkshire was nice enough to package it up and send it to my home at no charge! For the price, We would consider staing here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here with our dog for 4 nights. We did not have a positive experience at all. The house was clean but old, which is fine I expected that. The neighborhood seemed questionable. It was within walking distance to the main street but it didn't feel safe to walk around after dark. The pad lock on the main entrance would make weird noises as if it was unlocking and locking randomly throughout the day and night. This terrified me, made it really hard to relax when I was thinking about the door coming unlocked randomly in the middle of the night. Then the beds were SOOOO uncomfortable, neither of us slept the entire stay. The backyard was nice for our dog but there were no lights! The only light was by the door. We couldn't even sit out there at night to hangout because it was pitch black. Just overall a bad experience I would not stay here again. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review but we spent a lot of money staying here and left extremely disappointed and tired.

Lovely cottage

The cottage is lovely and well maintained and very clean. Carless transportation was a little bit of a challenge - it's not super close to the center of activity, but the distances are walkable if you're a strong walker or easily bikeable locally for restaurants and shops (we rented bikes for the week at a shop that is very nearby). The bus system through Cape Cod was navigable and very affordable. We were able to get to Provincetown by bus for a day. Uber was available to get to places far off the bus lines. I was surprised by the fact that they don't supply sheets or towels of any kind in the rental. You must either bring your own or rent them from local linen rental companies. Apparently this is common in Cape Cod vacation rentals, but I have never encountered it before anywhere else. The rental cost was such that we saved money by checking an extra bag on the flight that was just linens and towels. Communication with the management company was fair. Issues: Instructions for check out and details about services provided that were given by the company was different from the manual in the cottage. The management company requires you make a full walk-through within 24 hours of arrival and report issues to them, which we did. The response was essentially "thanks, we'll let the property owners know". No offer to fix anything. No one responds to questions outside of business hours unless it is an emergency. For example, things like wifi issues wait until 9am next day.

Thank you Ann for sharing this review. We looked at our records to see what was passed to the homeowner. We do have a texting system as well for various inquiries which we used with you prior to check in and even after checking out. The pull chain on the 2nd lamp was replaced a week later thanks for your report. We offer services 7 days at almost all kinds of hours but our resources are used for emergency services to ensure the property is habitable. In the event internet or a light bulb cannot be found, we would follow up on the next business day as stated in the agreement.

This is a cute little place. When we first walked in the smell from the air fresheners was overwhelming. We unplugged them and opened the windows and it wasn’t bothersome after that. There is a nice little backyard with a fire pit, but there was a burn ban so we couldn’t use it. If you plan to use the backyard bring your own chairs. The kitchen was very nice and had all the appliances, dishes and utensils that you need.
