Really Cute house , enjoyed our stay , location was Really Nice.Only negative thing was we kept seeing lots of earwig bugs.

Once we were told how to use the Nest for the A/C, we were much more comfortable... Was a bit tricky getting our suitcase up the narrow steps to the upstairs bedrooms. Upstairs bedrooms only have window a/c units, but were comfortable enough if you kept the door closed. Overall, a nice stay.

Great location

Close to downtown Holland, quiet neighborhood, home was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Recommend and hope to stay here again next Fall

Stay at Holland Hideaway!

The house has so much charm! It was super clean and had plenty of space for our trip. I love how close it was to everything and a plus that it was only a 3 minute drive to the wedding venue where we attended a good friends day! This will definitely be a place we stay at again in the future!

Get the tacos!

Great little house in a perfect location for two couples to enjoy the Holland Tulip Festival. And the little Mexican Grocery Store that practically sits behind the house - Rosie’s - fed us some of the best tacos we’ve had in awhile. Thanks for the recommendation!

Clean and cozy home

We loved the coziness of the home. It was so clean and very well decorated. The Christmas tree was a sweet surprise. Close to downtown which was a perk! We will stay here again! Adam was great to work with whenever we needed some help

Sunny, roomy and convenient location

We stayed a couple of nights and had everything we could need provided for us. This home is roomy, clean, stocked with games and books. The kitchen has everything you will need for a short stay or for fixing meals from scratch. It was perfect for a family of adults and a five year old. Location is great as it’s right in the middle of town.

Cozy & close cottage

Our family came in for a wedding. House was located close to town and venue. one of our sons left his phone and Adam was very accommodating and timely in getting someone out to the house and getting the phone overnighted back to us.Thanks again.

Girls Trip

We did a quick weekend getaway to Holland as a small group of moms looking for relaxation. The property was clean, instructions and communication were clear, and there was plenty of space to park our 3 cars. We did not use the kitchen or basement space, but enjoyed the central family room and were appreciative of the bathroom having soap/shampoo. It is walkable to downtown, which was convenient as well.

Perfect Place But Hard to Get Upstairs

I would stay there again in terms of how clean it was, amenities, and how easy it was to get everywhere. My only reason for not staying there wouldn’t be because of bad management. The staircase up to the second floor was very steep and narrow and not easy for navigating with a suitcase.

Clean & cute house walking distance to Holland

Enjoyed 4 nights w my 21 & 14 year old daughters. The house is clean, fresh, comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked w essentials, bed linens & bath towels were newer & nice. 9 blocks to walk to main strip of downtown Holland. Easy drive to explore Saugatuck or various beaches in Holland. Owner was responsive & easy to deal with. A bit challenging with only 1 bathroom & 1 mirror in the house but we made it work & had a fabulous getaway!

Comfortable, convenient and clean

We stayed at the Holland Hideaway for the Tulip festival in early May. The accommodations were lovely. The house was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Adam left additional blankets and pillows as requested (I am from Florida and can't stand the cold Michigan weather!). Adam responded quickly and followed up as needed. The house was within walking distance to 8th street (Downtown Holland) but it was around 11 blocks away so keep that in mind if you are traveling with people who can't walk a distance. When we drove around Holland, we did not have an issue finding parking. Holland and the surrounding areas are beautiful and the people very friendly.

Cute old house, great space.

My family of 5 (all adults) enjoyed our short stay in this house. The old house is nicely updated and well decorated. The family room was comfortable and seated all of us easily. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make some side dishes for Thanksgiving! Even with one bathroom we made it work. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding so soft. We did not use the extra room in the basement but it is a nice addition. Would be fun to stay in this house when warmer and you can walk around more and explore the beaches. Our only recommendation would be to add some blackout curtains as there was a lot of outside light and some traffic noise. We felt safe in this neighborhood and even walked to town one morning.

Quick family getaway in Holland

The home was just as described in the listing, everything was clean and there were no problems with the property. All the rooms were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. One caution, the stairs to the second floor are narrow and a little steep, plan to have anyone with difficulty on stairs use the main floor bedroom. Everywhere we wanted to go in Holland was within 15 minutes of the house! It is located on a busy intersection in the city with a bit of road noise. We appreciated the little things that were provided for us, like travel sized body wash and shampoo, and the entertainment, and all the towels. Overall it was a great home for our family to stay in during our short trip to see all Holland has to offer.

Little house with lots of space

This house was a great deal. It is adorably re-decorated. It was also quite well appointed; the bathroom was one of the best stocked and usable ones I’ve been in, hotel-like. That being said, it is a little hard to have just one bathroom in a house that supposedly sleeps 10. It’s not really walking distance to downtown at all and is pretty deep in neighborhood territory but if you have a car or a bike, it is a really good location as far as vacationing in Holland goes. Everything was very clean, but there was definitely a strong, musty smell, which made the basement unusable for us, especially those with allergies. There was a drainage problem while we were there in the washer dryer area so that might be the source of the messiness and hopefully the owners are going to figure out a solution! The upstairs rooms have their own AC units, but it didn’t seem like you could open the windows because of that which is a shame on beautiful Michigan Summer nights. Other than those things, this was a great place to stay, and we would definitely go there again, especially if the basement situation was remedied to allow for more sleeping areas.
