Only 2 miles to downtown Bethany Beach and boardwalk in the picturesque community of Savanah's Landing, Ocean View, enjoy this charming and spacious 2 bedroom / 2 full bathroom + den cottage that overlooks a peaceful and gorgeous pond, complete with wonderful bird life.

The kids will love a swim in the beautiful community pool, Memorial Day weekend through the first week of September (no fees). Play tennis and pickleball. Sit out on the back deck for sunrises and sunsets, enjoying your vacation. Have a barbecue. Relax on the screened-in porch. Go kayaking with nearby access to the Assawoman canal. Bring your bikes and enjoy leisurely rides around the neighborhood or to the beach. Take advantage of the free passes to other activities like a free round of golf at Bear Trap (see below) or the free concerts downtown. Or visit the tax free outlet malls in Rehoboth. Bethany and the surrounding areas have many dining options ranging from family to gourmet!

This home features an open floor plan with streaming TVs, a queen bed, two doubles, and a pull out queen sofa. Save money and bring your own linens and towels or rent them from our preferred provider, Gale Force Rentals in Ocean View. They deliver and pick up. Pillows and blankets are provided. The kitchen includes all appliance essentials, as well as a drip/Keurig coffee maker. The host also supplies a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. Starters of paper products are supplied.

Getting to the beach is an easy bike ride or a five minute car ride. Please bring or rent your own beach chairs and umbrellas. Parking at the beach does require a fee through the parking app or credit card.

Week at the Beach

Note that this property only has two real bedrooms, but that was just what we needed. We grandparents went with our daughters family and the two boys 6 and 9 slept in the same room with their parents. If they would have been a little older we might have needed another bedroom, but this was perfect for us. The boys loved the community pool and of course going to the beach every day. Wonderful time.

Cute, clean home!

This home exceeded my expectations. It was well decorated and inviting. The house was clean and well stocked. Quiet neighborhood with community pool, sidewalks and very convenient to all the things my family wanted to do.Only improvement could be the beds but very on par with most rentals.

Woods meets the beach

The house is nice the area we saw deer, fox, geese (who make a big mess in the yard) and a crane all in the backyard. We did notice the residents were not that friendly.

Great rental

We love the quiet neighborhood and especially love the deck and screened-in porch. Ants in the kitchen were a disappointment, but not enough to spoil our stay and Jeremy was VERY responsive to any concerns we had during our visit. The air conditioner worked well until the last day when it seemed to have issues. We've rented three times in this neighborhood and twice in this house and would return.

Peaceful Getaway

This beach house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. It really is a great location and close to to everything you need for a great beach getaway. The house was spacious, clean and exactly as pictured and described on the VRBO app. The only negative is that this property is run by a property management business. I emailed the agent twice during our 7 day long stay and he never responded. The first email was to notify him about a screen in a window ripped (not really a big deal but wanted him to know it was like that when we arrived). The second reason was about the fob to access the pool. It did not work and we would not have ever been able to get in if there were not always people already there to let us in. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, this house really is great!

Lots of great things about this property:- easy check-in with plenty of great info shared ahead of time along with coupons and tips- amazing communication with property manager with responsiveness and great customer service in resolving a minor mixup- very safe a friendly community. Great community pool with tennis/pickleball (bring paddles)- location situated well with close proximity to restaurants, grocery, mini golf, etc- short drive to numerous beach options. We enjoyed spending the day at Fenwick Island State Park or 3 R’s (you can drive on the beach and set up all your gear). Also parked in Bethany off 3rd St in paid parking but easy walk to beach (no canopies allowed fyi, only umbrellas). Visit 3Rs for fewest limitations, but Fenwick has bathhouseHouse is well-stocked and comfortable. FYI is there are not TVs in living area or the middle bedroom - but we ended up playing more games as a family which was great. No “official” primary bedroom but the arrangement allows for more beds. We would definitely return and stay at this house and in this community. Great value with lots of nearby options to visit. Lost Treasure Golf is a little drive but super fun - go in the morning for fewer crowds
