The place was great. The only issue we had would be that there are no curtains in main areas. Everything else was just as expected. Very quiet and relaxing. Bed was so comfortable.

Great home and trip! We most liked the great secluded setting and convenience to a number of great little towns with nice restaurants and shopping. Great amenities, very dog friendly site. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

Property was better than pictured or described. It was impeccably clean and extremely well equipped. The fact that it had three king size beds was unusual and a real positive from my perspective--even though we only used one bedroom. By the way, the beds were very comfortable. All interactions with our host, Kim were pleasant, congenial, and competent. The property is secluded, yet we were able to find whatever we wanted within a moderate drive. The property's setting is spectacular. While we were right on the pond, the only downside was that I could not coax any fish to bite. All in all, our stay was a terrific experience. Thank you.

Perfect place to stay for Virginia adventures

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Healy's Pond. The place was clean, private and was a beautiful stay to recharge after adventures at nearby Yorktown, Williamsburg and Jamestown. Our host, Kim, was incredibly helpful and communicative during our stay. We greatly appreciated her attentive support during check-in, stay and checkout, would love to book with her again!

Relaxing Getaway

Relaxing Getaway

Very private, secluded vacation property. Nice open floor plan with great views of the pond. Took the dog on trails nearby, good Chinese and Bbq in town. Would go again!

Lovely winter stay

The home was well appointed, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed viewing the birds on the lake. It was rainy and blustery so we didn’t use the outdoor areas during our stay.

Great location

This home was immaculate and exactly as pictured. It’s located at the end of a dead end and was very quiet! I found it a little pricey for the off season Would be wonderful during the summer months when you can take advantage of the lake and the ammenities. Overall it was a nice stay and not too far from the town of Matthews.

Girls weekend getaway

Beautiful property inside and out. The house was very clean. We did notice the smell of what seemed to be old cigarette smoke. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked. We loved the quietness and the views. Would stay there again.

Hidden Gem

Everything about this place is so special. Kim, the caretaker was amazing, helpful and accommodating! The house was spotless! The most organized and well appointed kitchen I've ever seen! Amenities are endless, with the greatest attention to detail to the little details that made our stay so fun and comfortable.

Exceptional View

Loved this location - the kayaks were an added bonus! Very quick communication with property manager / owner. Highly recommend. Our dogs loved the property, too! Great main table area great for family games. Whole family was happy with the comfortable beds.

nice rainy and secluded

property was nice and cozy. rained most of the time and had to travel a ways to get things we needed However, we had a nice quiet time away from home. didn't get to enjoy walks or outdoors too much because of the rain.
