This unit was exactly what a family of 6 needed! Super convenient to visit family for us and an amazing home away from home. Already planning my next trip and know we will be staying at this property again!

Exclusive beach stay

Views were spectacular, the beach was stunning (a bit of a walk to get to, but worth it)

Great location

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful location in Puerto Rico. The view from the deck was incredible! We would definitely go back for it next trip

Great property all around. (View, cleanliness, amenities, security) Will stay here again my next vacation. Need a better way to communicate host other than email but besides that great place to stay.

My wife, 2 adult kids and their significant others had a great 10 days at this property. It is as advertised, the private rooftop terrace is amazing (the fireworks on NYE were unbelievable! Punta Tuna beach is absolutely beautiful and the walk to get there is very easy and mostly shaded. Paola, the host, was very helpful and available (though we didn't ever really need anything from her! The location is away from the touristy areas, which is very nice, but does require a car to get to most anywhere you'll want to check out. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property!

Beautiful upscale property

A great escape in a gorgeous villa. Everything we needed on property and then some. Just lovely. Hosts were attentive and always available when we had inquiries.

Beautiful views

Nice place to stay, beautiful views of sunset and rises and star gazing. No bugs! Close to a gorgeous beach but at the time we couldn't swim due to undertow and big waves. Beds were comfy. Easy check in and out. Gated community and nice pool area. Yummy restaurants near by!

Great base in a beautiful location

We loved exploring Maunabo - the nearby nature reserve, beaches and lighthouse. This rental is a great base from which to do so. It is well equipped and clean, with a spectacular roof terrace with gorgeous views. It is ideal, except for those with mobility issues. There are 2 flights of stairs up to the main level and an additional flight up to the roof terrace. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I stayed at this property for 14 days and overall had a good experience. The host communicated well throughout our stay, and the property was exactly as described. The location was excellent, with easy access to the Humedales, the beach, and other nearby activities. Although the beach wasn't swimmable, we still enjoyed being so close to it. The pool and basketball court were great amenities.Check-in involved several steps and was more complicated than expected, but check-out was quick and easy.As this is a Premier Host property, we expected a little more attention to detail. We've stayed at other Premier Host properties that included toiletries, kitchen spices, and zip-top bags, which made the stay more convenient. The appliances worked, but some are showing their age. For example, the A/C vent in the living room was broken and couldn't be adjusted, so the cold air blew directly on anyone sitting on the couch. The master bathroom also got very hot after showers, and the Wi-Fi signal in the master bedroom was slow.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but because the rental is on the expensive side, we expected a few more comforts. We would have to think twice before staying here again.

Great getaway

We had a great time in Maunabo and this unit was as advertised. Convenient access to the Punta Tuna Reserve and beach. Utilize the gate by the pool to get there. The water is too rough to swim in, but we had plenty of fun playing in the sand and letting some waves crash on us at the shore. There are a bunch of cliff side restaurants in the area. The kitchen in the unit had enough equipment. We were able to cook breakfast most days and reheat some restaurant left overs. Amazing views of the sunrise from the rooftop terrace. Perfect way to start each day. Loved this part of the island. The beaches were nearly deserted and the condo complex was very quiet as well. Easy and responsive communication with the host. Check in is keyless. Check out was easy as well!Wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Has potential

This place has potential, but it fell short of what the pictures made it appear. One washcloth for 5 people. No hand soap in the bathrooms. Lights on the balcony, but no way to plug them in. Limited kitchen supplies. This place is located in a non-touristy area which had advantages, but also many disadvantages. The area is still recovering from hurricane damage. Getting to the beach and lighthouse was not as easy as they made it sound. With all that being said, it was a nice size and the outdoor space was a huge plus.

Family trip

We had an amazing time. The view is AMAZING!! Paola was very professional and attentive. The condo was comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. I very much appreciated the little details such as the coffee, laundry detergent pods, beach chairs, cooler, first aid kit, flashlight and fire extinguisher. The host thought of everything and that made the stay that much better. It shows that the host cares about making sure their guests are comfortable and getting the most out of their visit. The condo is on top of a mountain and you have to be careful getting up there because there are many potholes on the way. However, it is definitely worth the ride up. The view is like no other. My family and I ordered food from a local restaurant , Agua Viva, (the food was delicious) for Valentine's day and dined on the roof top of our condo with the gorgeous view in the background and the coquis serenading us. It was one of my favorite memories of this particular trip. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you

Great VRBO for Puerto Rico vacation

This was my first international VRBO and you never know what you are going to get. I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was wonderful- had a little mishap with the code and Paola responded immediately and fixed it right away. House was quiet, clean and ACs worked well. It was very helpful to have a washer/dryer and full kitchen. There is a nice grocery store a few blocks away. The house provided some dishwasher and washing tablets, coffee, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner. All those provided items were very appreciated. Additionally, there was a cooler and two beach chairs provided. Basketball provided needs to be pumped up and one of the three chairs provided was broken. But, overall I was extremely pleased with this VRBO. Outdoor pool and basketball were used daily. Upstairs deck was quiet and beautiful. It's an hour drive to some of the more popular tourist attractions but my family did not mind the drive. I don't like crowds of tourists, and the beaches in this area are 100% worth it. We went to the black sand beach and kids loved jumping in the waves. Went to a beach in Manaubo and the sand was beautiful and we had the beaches all to ourselves. Highly recommend this place for your stay.
