We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the community security team—we understand how frustrating that must have been. - Unfortunately, the HOA has recently restricted outdoor fires for short-term renters, which includes propane fire pits. We know that may not be clear at first and are working to ensure guests are informed ahead of time. - Many homeowners in the area are actively working to encourage more guest-friendly policies, and your feedback helps highlight where those changes are needed. We understand your disappointment that a temporary community fire ban affected the use of the outdoor fire pit during your scheduled stay. Although the restriction was outside of our control, we offered the option to keep the reservation at a discounted rate or cancel for a full refund before your arrival. Since the reservation was canceled before check-in, we regret that you didn't have the opportunity to experience the property.
