Place exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot to go to beach and eat at crab buffet at Silver Slipper Casino. Swimming pool clean and nice to chill in after a day being hot on the beach. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people nearby. Felt safe and comfortable here. No issues at all. Pet friendly - brought a Boston Terrier who enjoyed the patio and yard very much. We also had a one year old. Found very kid friendly. Bring electric plug covers with you (as you should always to on trips with toddlers). Would certainly use again.

We were able to cook all of our meals here. The kitchen is fully equiped and the property was very clean. Our grandkids loved the pool and it was a easy walk to the beach. We should have brought a wagon to pull all of our stuff, we drove to the beach and there was great parking up the beach.

Would stay again! Great place!

The property is exactly as described in the photos and held our large group perfectly. The main living area is massive with a couch that could seat 10 people comfortably. The location is great with an easy walk to the beach, pool was great when we wanted to hang around the house. 10/10 would stay here again.

Mother’s Day

It was a very nice property for my family. We enjoyed the pool and patio area. The indoor space gave us plenty of room to gather, and/or spread out when needed! I would definitely recommend this home.

Great Stay

Beautiful house with great open living room, which was a perfect gathering place for six adults and our toddlers to have plenty of room to run and play. Easy walk to the beach and great pool setup for hotter days. Listing states three full bathrooms, but there are two full bathrooms and two half baths. Overall it was a great stay

Great family place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very clean, spacious, and roomy for our family of 9. Huge kitchen, living room, and master bedroom/bath. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Could use a few more baking dishes, like 8x8 or 9x13 pan, but we made due. Loved all the outdoor games too. Property manager was always quick to reply when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home that was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable, nice kitchen( lots of pots, but needed more dishes)TV’s in every room with a really big one in living room. Big dining room table which is not always available in rentals. Beach could not be seen from the house, but it was a short walk and one street to cross. The beaches of waveland are very quiet and clean- beautiful! There is also a sidewalk all along the beach that we walked on everyday. Waveland is a nice, small town with good restaurants and a few shops. You are also very near the bigger and busier Bay St Louis. This was a great place for a family gathering in a quiet dead end neighborhood. We want to come back in the summer because there was an above ground pool!

Waveland

The house was beautiful with everything you would need for a family get together. Unfortunately, the “sand(?)” fleas in the yard and downstairs entertainment area under the house were so bad we could not use after the first couple of days. The high grass and weeds in the yard also made it unusable for us. Since we live in Michigan, we were looking forward to spending time outside.

No heating and AC in one "bedroom" and the bunk beds in another bedroom amounted to a toy with air matresses. Did not sleep the entire family as advertised. Very disappointed in sleeping capacity. Cleanliness was marginal. Request partial refund based on misadvertisement.

From the owner: “I was sorry to hear this guest felt the home didn’t meet expectations. The listing photos and description clearly show the layout, including the bunk room designed for children. All bedrooms have access to central heating and air conditioning, with fans available for additional comfort. Our professional property manager oversees cleaning between stays, and we’ll ensure the home remains well-maintained for every guest. I appreciate the feedback and will continue making sure the property is comfortable and as described.”

Quiet getaway, very clean and close to the beach

We had a very relaxing spring break. The beach was a short walk and we almost always had it all to ourselves (mid March). The sand was beautiful, though the beach itself and the water aren’t all that pretty. The home was very clean and comfortable with lots of spots to relax, nap, read, and somewhere for all family members to enjoy. We also loved the extended long table where we did puzzles and played games every night. Our only complaint was that the bugs on property (NOT in the house) were really bad. I don’t know that anything could be done but it made sitting outside impossible and we are all covered in bug bites from our time in/by the pool. I think the no-see-em bugs were just really bad at the time we were there and again I am not sure if spraying the exterior would help that which is why we still give it 5 stars. Overall, we had a great time. The neighborhood is very quiet, calm, and quaint. The small town nearby had cute shops and food options, along with a great coffee shop. And we were close enough for a short drive to New Orleans. We’d definitely recommend it as a spot to get away and recharge!

Listing not accurate

Spent the first few hours wiping knobs and surfaces. As well as the food splatters on drawer and cabinet faces. Also wiping food out of utensil drawers and washing all the dishes. At least there was cleaning product. Pool wasn't open despite the listing guarantee of being open March to September. Would have been ok if someone would have notified us before the full refund cancelation deadline. No bicycle(s) either. Also the gas grill was a grease trap and looked to be a fire hazard. I wouldn't use it.
